Young Americans Update
The documentary series is finished at 15 hours. I’m now beginning the careful process of bringing on co-producers and seeking a distribution deal. It will be released, one way or the other. I’ll be doing more updates about that process as it should be pretty interesting. It was a long many months of getting it all cut from 700 hours. But in a way, the timing couldn’t be better for reaching a wide audience and having an impact. It seems like all eyes in America are on Iraq in a way they weren’t months ago. People finally seem to be taking the war more seriously than their celebrity worship. And we are clearly at a crossroads of decision making. I feel like I’ve been in the hands of God since I started this, so I’ll contineu to trust Him on how and when it gets out there. I honestly feel that if it had gotten out earlier, it would’ve had way less impact.
And good news on the new video clips I said would start going up this week… A major, and I mean MAJOR media organization has seen a sample and basically flipped for the goods. We are working out an arrangement for them to debut on their website, with an audience of millions. Some samples will likely also be on TV. So I can’t put them up here this week as originally planned. But stay tuned, this should be sorted out quickly.
I came to critique the site, beautiful BTW, but stayed longer to read the Maxim interview.
Good luck to you and the project and will look forward to seeing it on a large screen somewhere.
