Jihad & Hostages: Jimmy Carter & Liberalism’s Gifts To The World
I hate to burst anyone’s bubble, but the safe return of the hostages should not be the primary goal of the English Government. The primary goal of the English Government should be the protection of it’s people by meting out consequences to iran in order to discourage them, and anyone else, from committing such grievous offences ever again.
The only appropriate immediate response to such a kidnapping is to threaten. If and when threatening doesn’t work, then it is time to attack, with escalation and cessation ultimately determined by the Government and the Military.
Placing the value of the lives of the few hostages over the greater good and lives of the many people, is a facile, child-like approach featuring the abdication of all real governmental responsibility. It is a classic case of not seeing the forest for the trees.
There is only one reason this grotesque debacle is unfolding as is. It is because the poisonous thread of Modern Liberalism has blinded and handcuffed the English People and their Government. They need to wipe the Liberals scales from their eyes.
Jimmy Carter is responsible for the current hostage situation in Iran. Modern Liberalism is responsible for the current hostage situation in Iran. Because both Jimmy Carter and liberalism value “don’t hit” over protecting their people by meting out consequences to those who harm them, Jimmy Carter and Modern Liberalsim sent a clear message to Iran that hostage taking can be done in a void of consequences. Along with waging the Jihad that began, unchecked, under Carter’s watch. Strengthened and emboldened, it is the greatest threat we face today.
Just minutes ago, MSM outlets began reporting that Iran would be airing fresh “confessions” by the tortured and humiliated hostages. The Iranian government is following a focused course of action. The British Government is, I believe, talking.

Carter - the king of indecisiveness ….
In all of us, indecision stems from primarily two things:
1-Lack of guiding principles. (i.e. what our behavior should be)
2-Lack of knowing if the decision will give the desired result.
BUT the UK is stuck in this non-action mode because of liberalist indecisiveness:
1-It’s “principles” continuously change based on popular opinion (i.e. what will others think).
2-It must poll the population before it decides because it does not know the desired result until it polls others. And….. its not just what its citizens think, but what will the world think.
The UK made the mistake of not having decisive response behaviors WHEN the abduction was happening (it lacked guiding principles). Accordingly, the hostage situation should never have existed for these 15 because their comrades and the Cornwall should have been fully prepared to take immediate action based on principles – not requests.
I’ll bet people behind the UK gov’s doors are continually asking the question “What should we do?” All the while, they are silently kicking themselves in the rear for allowing every minute to pass from the moment the Iranians began their approach toward the Sailors. They remain helpless because they want to avoid the consequences that result if they make Iran accountable.
Indecisiveness puts time is on Iran’s side – Iran is controlling the situation because of liberalist indecisiveness. Iran gets to spread propaganda to believers not just in their own country, but to many many liberals around the world. With every tick of the clock the solution gets pushed out by weeks or months.
Now, the UK can’t take action because the world opinion of libs speak louder than the conservatives. Since the UK cares what others think of them they will do nothing – except maybe apologize.

Ha! That’s a good one. Slightly off topic of this thread, but somewhat related, I travel a lot for business, spending time in hotels and some airports. I have noticed a predominance of TV’s tuned to CNN and many times Fox News is blocked. I have seen hotels where CNN is available and Fox News blocked, but I have never seen one the other way around. I have even asked the front desk about it and have been told Fox has been blocked. Talk about being fair and balanced. Whenever I can, I change the TV’s from CNN to Fox if it’s available. The next time you are in either try checking the channels.

I just found this site a few days ago. What a relief. I have felt, more than once, that the current political climate in this country has left people like me alone and on an island. It is great to know that, although I will probably never meet any of you, I have a multitude of brothers and sisters out there who have my back.
I, first and foremost, want to thank all of you who serve, have served, and are about to serve (Rumsfeld47) in our armed forces. My own dream of a military career was ended before it could begin when an accident cost me the use of my right leg when I was 17 (Even though Carter was pres. at the time). My late, great dad, a WWII 2nd Marine, ( The guys that kicked ass on Saipan and had a nearly 50% casualty rate in the process) made sure I knew that the crap that Carter and his ilk spewed, and the way they coddled our enemies was not what built America nor would it keep her strong.

Almost all terrorisim in the world can be traced directly or indirectly back to Iran and that has been the case since the US Embassy was invaded.
Once the mullahs had control of a fairly rich and populous country the terrorisim started spreading exponentially throughout the world.
Terrorism existed before the Embassy, but it was radical Iran who united the various hodge-podge of orginizations into a unified global cancer that is threatening the very existance of civilization.
First it was just the Jews they were after, next it was America and Jews, then it was all non-muslims, now it seems to be everyone who doesn’t adhere to the strictest interpretation of islam.
I never had a problem with the Iraq war. I still don’t, it’s where we need to be.
From the begining I have believed that the REAL reason we went to Iraq in the first place was that we would be prepared to deal with Iran when the time came.

Johnson asked Eisenhower if he really would have released a nuclear attack against North Korean. Eisenhower responded “I don’t know if I would have. But the North Koreans believed that I would and that is all that mattered.”

GREAT Q, I had asked myself many times and then found the answer in a book by Balint Vazsonyi, who had lived under different forms of socialism (communism) and saw what was happening here and wrote the quintessential book;
America’s Thirty Years War –and I just cannot recommend a better book to understand where we are now and how we got here and knowledge IS power and knowing what’s what is the best way to win a battle.
Basically, he wrote, in this instant case, that Americans are unique in that if they are accused of something, they will try like hell to fix it and when the leftists accused us of being nationalist or ‘proud’ and then instituted their p.c. special interest crapolitics, we began to fall.
Just look at ‘hate crimes’, p.c. speak (commie ideas) special group think and detestation of Nationalism; males put down, females raised up (and who the hell ever thought that chubby girl Navy troop should be in battle is a good example- what a weak link in that chain- she looks unfit for duty to me); special taxation to redistribute wealth; behaviour control (anti drinking and smoking, the ‘war’ on druga and guns -the BATF for pete’s sake???)–in short, all the little commisars who run their commisariats and lord it over the rest of us.
My family fought the commies all their lives and I remember what happened at the Massacre of the Katyn Forest so I don’t trust the ruskies or commies anywhere (esp. within this country), but that’s just me.

The latest from a group of female docs is that autism is “carried on the Y chromosome.” Oh, really? -so what’s next you might ask- maybe aborting Y chromosome babies? See what I am getting at here?
But, wait! Don’t trust me. Do the research yourself.

We could go on and on about this, but I think we’ve achieved understanding. And to be honest, I rarely attend church, where I’d be more likely to meet such real women, rather than some bar or club my L.A. roommate drags me to every so often.
