On the f***ing NOSE, PAT!!!
No doubt had a few students packed a piece in the dorms, the death toll would be just a tad less than 21 (so far).
This is the kind of thing that needs to be rubbed in the faces of the eunuch left on a daily basis.
April 16th, 2007 at 9:37 amThus far, 32 dead. (14:05)
April 16th, 2007 at 9:57 amMy thoughts, exactly as yours: and-why were some students in military type uniforms but w/o sidearms?
Because only the badguys have the guns.
When will we learn?
Watch for the dems et al to insist on more gun laws.
Multiple Shootings at Virginia Tech…
***See Updates***
This story is unfolding, but it appears there is more than one shooter involved….
April 16th, 2007 at 10:13 amholy freaking irony.
April 16th, 2007 at 10:20 amYa this one always blows me away. It’s funny this morning I was thinking about what I would have done in that situation. I get to school and see people running out of the hall bleeding. First thing I would think about getting a weapon. But where? I wouldn’t have one on me, and I wouldn’t have one in my truck for fear I would get in trouble for having something on school property. Would I run in with a rock or a stick? try to creep up behind him ninja style? Probably would just get shot.
The thing that is so ridiculous about this is people think that by banning weapons on campus they can prevent this type of thing. The problem is without hundreds of quards in armor with assualt rifles, someone with a good gun who wants in will get in regardless of any rules. All they do is take away the power of good people to act, the bad will always have access to guns.
April 16th, 2007 at 10:20 amGreetings:
SHould there be a letter writing compaign to the State Congress, Virginia Tech and others asking how safe they all feel now?
How about a Billboard campaign across Virginia with the names and ‘FEEL SAFE NOW?’ scrawled across them…
Are we willing to do the deed or are we all PC?
How about a bumper sticker…Virginia is for sheep
Or….Virginia is for criminals
or…Come to Virginia! We’re disarmed!

April 16th, 2007 at 10:20 amI wonder if they will reconsider the bill now.
More likely they will press for more aggressive gun control laws in the surrounding area and hire more counselors…
April 16th, 2007 at 10:21 amGood to see your posts, Tim. After yesterdays, I wondered if it was you doing the shooting.
April 16th, 2007 at 10:21 amI like the last one
although it should read;
“Attention Shooters;
Come to Virginia Tech, we’re disarmed!”
cause its only on the university that you can’t have your guns.
April 16th, 2007 at 10:23 amBut how did this happen? According to the article, people are supposed to check their weapons at the campus security office.
April 16th, 2007 at 10:33 amNot to worry Viginia legislators, I’m sure you will find some way to blame this latest blunder on Bush. And the demediacrats will be only too happy to oblige - Bush just doesn’t care about Virginia Tech students….
OK,
WAS MARCUS VICK ON CAMPUS TODAY?
is that PC?

April 16th, 2007 at 10:38 amWould like to know if any were shot trying to stop that fucker. Where there any men in that school today?
April 16th, 2007 at 10:47 amThat’s some fucked up irony people.
Leftists won’t be happy until we’re all victims.
April 16th, 2007 at 11:00 amI’ll bet $20 that he was a Muslim.
April 16th, 2007 at 11:10 am1) If the SOB lined us all up and started going up the line shooting everyone, and I were on the opposite end, I’d damn well go “United 93″ on him (you know, you figure you’re already dead, so “Let’s roll” damn it.)
2) Having actually worked in the MSM, in my P.K. life (pre-kids), I know how in a fluid situation such as this it’s irresponsible to assume and speculate without all the facts. However:
a) if the shooter was not a jihadi, but a white guy, the media is expected to paint him as a 6-toed-red-neck, knuckle-dragging, Bible thumping, victim of Bush’s War here in the states…
b) the clueless “lawmakers” will react exactly how you guys are predicting … It’s like their idea of throwing more money at failing schools. Solve situations such as this by more and more gun control.

April 16th, 2007 at 12:09 pmHe was descrided as “asian”
so pay up rummy, I’ll email you my mailing address
April 16th, 2007 at 12:10 pmWell, now, D_Mac and Rummy,
I have heard some people the Middle East referred to as “Asians” (Iranians, specifically …). Technically, or not … I dunno.
Anyhow, in Clinton-speak, “Depends on what your definition of …” Muslim is. There are Asian Muslims (See: the countries effected by the big Christmas tsunami a couple yrs. ago).
I’d say the bet is still on.
April 16th, 2007 at 12:18 pm“Asian” does not mean he isn’t muslim. You don’t have to be an Arab to be a muslim.
April 16th, 2007 at 12:19 pmIf they’re so “safe” from failing to pass HB 1572, why are 32 people dead?
So they “solve” the situation by…pressing for *more* gun control? They just keep underscoring how much of a bunch of fucking idiots they are by suggesting such a thing.
I’m with Emperor Misha (of The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler) on this one: The disarmament of students led to their slaughter. The gun control freakazoids are accessories to murder.

I almost jumped on that bet but then had the same thought go through my head.
The bet is still on!!!

Good to see your posts, Tim. After yesterdays, I wondered if it was you doing the shooting.
After the OK Bombings I had three friends call me and ask if I was in OK. After number three I turned on the TV and saw the bombing…
I don’t kill indiscriminately. Random bombings and spree killings are not my style. I am a member of the NALN (National Association of Loud Noises) our motto : Loud noises, no reasons…
I am still mad about the gang rape thing and I am looking into it, seriously. I am still pissed.
Second, I am wondering if we aren’t seeing the beginning of something.

April 16th, 2007 at 1:22 pmdammit you guys are right. I hope he wasn’t an asain muslim. Crap, I could be out $20.
But then, when it really comes down to it, this would be best for the future of our country if it was a muslim. So now I’m kinda torn….
April 16th, 2007 at 1:29 pmThe media and govt have downplayed the individual acts of violence by muslims/wanna be muslims since 9/11 - off the top of my head, the small plane in Tampa in 2001, the attack in the LA airport, the salt lake mall shooting, think there are more but have not looked into it. Look for it early before the PC police shape reports.
April 16th, 2007 at 1:36 pmThere was a report of the first scene that the guy killed his girlfriend then turned the gun on himself.
The school authorities acted like they just wanted to keep it on the down low.
Several hours later (3?) another scene (not near the first) with more dead.
At the press conference, was it a slip that they did not have all the shooters? Did someone mention that they did not know the whereabouts of the shooter and would that be a second shooter?
I do know that ‘the first three reports are usually wrong’ (seeing as how the media are all whores for the pulitzer) but where are we now? The usual screamers are, predictably, calling for more gun laws. Morons.
The shooter(s) sure had gun control, he (they) killed.
Am I the only one tired of seeing SWAT standing outside, behind cars and walls? Shouldn’t they be moving in?
There is only one answer and it is The 2nd Amendmt. If we aren’t the militia, who the hell is? The unarmed rent-a-cops?
April 16th, 2007 at 3:22 pmThe fuck shot himself in the face and he was not carrying any ID.
April 16th, 2007 at 3:39 pmAt second glance, it doesn’t appear he was a Muslim, but if he converts in prison, it still counts!
April 16th, 2007 at 5:28 pmI don’t think for a second that this will be a positive for our “right to carry”.The anti gun crowd is not capable of seeing realty even if it’s slapped upside their freegin heads.
April 16th, 2007 at 6:03 pmJeez, watching the tv news report - the local UNCC college in Charlotte, NC has signs that say “firearms are prohibited” and they have a new siren and blue lights and maybe putting up a emergency banner on the college home page. WOW! that will make the bad man go away.
Fools.

Steve,
I know there were more. Smaller attacks, or would be attacks. The Islamist who ran over North Carolina students in the campus quad, the convert who tried (or maybe did) blow himself up outside the college football stadium a year or two ago(can’t remember which college in the mid-west, though), the Muslim guy in San Fran a few months back who ran down pedestrians in the streets … and I know there were at least a couple more …
