Iraq Roundup - Including Video From This Morning’s Baghdad Bombings & Ramadi Firefight
Scene Of Horror In Baghdad This Morning. Al Qaeda Continues To Launch A Furious Counterattack After Being Kicked Out Of Al Anbar
- BREAKING STORY OF BOMBS IN BAGHDAD
- Rumors are circulating on the streets of Baghdad, and in it’s newspapers, that a powerful member of parliament is the main culprit in last week’s cafeteria bombing. Word is he will be arrested soon.
- Serious troubles for both Al Sadr’s Mehdi Army and Sunni terrorist elements. Sadr’s thugs are coming under greater fire from Shiite dominated government forces in southern Iraq. In addition, Al Sadr’s power play this week, having his party’s ministers resign from the cabinet, seems to futher seal his fate as a walking dead man. As he removes himself from the political process, he cements his image as a violent enemy of the state and puppet of Iran, and binds himself up in the current mounting showdown with Iran. It appears that a violent confrontation with him is now the only likely outcome. Unless he pulls some dramatic, two-faced turnabout that is coordinated with Tehran.
As I’ve noted, the war between Al Qaeda and the Sunni locals is in full swing, and Al Qaeda has been thrown out of Al Anbar by the alliance between the Sunni tribes and U.S. forces. ( 17 dead children were just found in a former Al Qaeda headquarters in Ramadi.) Further, various Al Qadea groups are fighting amongst themselves, and Sunni insurgent groups are fighting amongst themselves. It’s happened before but not like this. The entire Sunni/Al Qaeda insurgency is in complete disarray. Leader of the Al Qaeda linked group The Islamic State of Iraq, Umar al-Baghdadi, issued a 42 minute statement today that attacked various groups for fighting each other instead of the enemy - - but then he himself attacked other groups that he has ideological and strategic differences with. He also tried to patch up differences with the Al Qaeda Army of Iraq, who recently issued a statement that they were severing ties with Al Qaeda. You get the pitcture. All this is only good for us.
According to military and media sources, including the Kuwait News Agency, Ibrahim Keitan, Al Qaeda’s military coordinator for all Al Anbar province, was killed on Saturday.
No word on the 20 cops and soldiers allegedly kidnapped a few days ago, but the 48 hour deadline has passed.
The Streets Of Ramadi. Yes, those are all bullet, bomb and shrapnel holes.
A major, major step up in USMC presence in Ramadi is underway. Stay tuned for details. Ramadi is the last place in Al Anbar to be cleared. Several new OPs have been set up at key hotspots over the last year, and things are falling into position for the next phase of operations. Marines there report to me that an almost eerie silence has overtaken the city. Calm before the storm?
Interesting over at Youtube. There is fast and furious removal of videos deemed “offensive” to Islam, and the banning of those who post them. However, Youtube is currently the world’s premiere outlet for terrorist propaganda, propaganda that is actually produced by terrorists. You’ll note that on one of the two clips below, the guy who posted it wishes good luck and God’s blessings on the terrorists who made it. Apparently he fits Youtube’s image of the model Youtuber. Youtube’s policy is that videos displaying the killing of Americans and the call to kill more are allowed, but videos merely critiquing Islam are not.
Below are two of Al Sadr’s Mehdi Army propaganda videos. Both will demonsrate quite amply why Al Sadr should not only have never been allowed to paricipate in the political process, but why in fact he should have been killed. And still should be. Anyone remember the standoff at the mosque in Najaff when we almost killed him, but the American Leftist machine rallied against doing that? Well now we’re reaping what was sown.
Pat are you our Frank Capra?

As great as the net can be for the free flow of information it is still subject to political bias and interference.
I have begun using dogpile as a search engine, it gathers from several engines so you have a chance of catching something not on other sites for whatever reason.
As for the pussies that run youtube - fuck you, the devil will use you as his bitch when your soul goes to hell.
April 18th, 2007 at 4:32 amI guess I just don’t get it, Superimposed explosions over american vehicles… I guess that’s brave. Constant footage of the dude who’s too afraid to go around teh corner.
and as for the Najaf deal I remember that, when they were using their Fortress-Mosque to fire on the Marines. Our “Cultural sensitivity” wouldn’t allow us to shoot back or enter, then when we finally get the go ahead, some other fgt imam claims to have negotiated with piece of shit al-sadr for him to come out peacefully… no arrest, or kill as it should have been…rediculous
April 18th, 2007 at 5:07 amI’ve hated Al Sadr since I first learned of his ilk. And the two-faced double standard political posturing seems to be the norm in the region. That’s the one thing I just don’t get about Arabs in general. Admittedly we have our share of double standards in this Country. I saw a video on youtube showing the insurgents had reclaimed Ramadi and couldn’t believe the propaganda that they submit to our people, and now it’s inappropriate for us to show our Nationalism-that’s plain and simply fucked up!!
I suppose we will start seeing ads on youtube for micro-chip implants soon..
April 18th, 2007 at 5:10 amI learned that Al Gore is on the board of Google who owns Utube.
April 18th, 2007 at 7:33 amBig brother is more pervasive than we think!
John
That is some fucked up shit - fucked up shit. Fucking google who displays detailed maps of our military installations on google earth. Evolution invariably rewards the weak with its just desserts. Hopefully they don’t take us with them.
April 18th, 2007 at 7:36 amYeah, the same google that reports to the Chinese government about Chinese speaking ill of the government on line … The same google that refused to assist the USA’s Homeland Security in tracking possible terror suspects online …
April 18th, 2007 at 8:06 amOuch…so youtube is removing anti islam videos..for sure?
Also, can you link proof that Algore is on the board for Google?
That’s really tragic..I hope you’re wrong….
I spend alot of money on Google Adwords advertising & it works great…didn’t know there was a bunch of fascists running the show!
April 18th, 2007 at 8:06 amGood-for-nothing, self-righteous, YouTube S.O.Bs.; once again the Left sides with the enemy.
April 18th, 2007 at 8:11 amPat
I had wondered bout the security issues with satellite images. Our Boy Scout Camp backs up against Ft. Indiantown Gap, and last year when I went to get aerial images of the BSA camp I found that images of the Gap were unrestricted. This was a real suprise to me! This would be like handing target intelligence to the enemy. The next thing I checked was if Nuke power gen sites were restricted - they’re NOT.
I think its not only Google. Don’t agree with this shit but guarantee the Leftist thinking is behind it. You know how the left touts secrecy as conspiracy and all..
I agree its really fucked up.
April 18th, 2007 at 8:31 amPat and Co.,
Just found another “tube” site: brightcove.com .
Check it out.
April 18th, 2007 at 8:53 amanyone having problems with the ramadi footage? wont work for me.
April 18th, 2007 at 9:29 amWith it really hitting the fan in Iraq right now, why are these papers, whether hard copy or electronic referring to “spectacular attacks” my God! they are siding with the bombers, they are telling them those attacks are great to see, feeding the terrorists ego, fanning the flames!
One thing this reminds of from the history books. For those of you who have done the reading, remember the various factions in Germany that tried to kill Hitler and negotiate for terms with the US? Same thing in Italy. I think we are seeing the beginning of the death throes for Al Qaeda to be anything other than a nuisance in the future. (I hope so for our military members currently there, and those bound there eventually) Sorry, Rummy, I would prefer for you to go there only as a member of a unit that doesn’t have to worry about violence.
I think that our troops along with the Iraqi’s are having so much success eliminating the thugs and finding the weapons, chemical, explosives, what have you, that this latest round is the murderers (they are NOT martyrs)are afraid their stores will be found before they can be used, and are trying to use everything up before we find it and destroy it.
This has nothing to do with anything else, but my computer got upgraded a few months ago, and this neww keyboard is a paice of shit. I have to spend so much time re-typing because of missed key strokes. You have to literally pound on the keys, which Dell says eliminates unneeded key strokes and reduces having to delete them.. Sounds like a piece of junk that is getting the leftist spin put to it…
April 18th, 2007 at 9:48 amGore is not a member of Google’s board, but has been mentioned as a senior advisor, sited here…

and here…

still, google does continue push a left wing agenda though…
April 18th, 2007 at 9:51 amBrad -
ever seen a headline like: “terrorists slaughter civilians in marketplace.” or “mother of three killed in attack on baghdad citizens in city square by al qaeda”
I haven’t.
bty I hate Dell.
April 18th, 2007 at 10:54 amSteve,
You are right the headlines always read 3 American forces killed, Jihadists captured, Bush lied, leftist drivel like that. Why are they legitimized by being called jihadists? They are murderers, terrorists. Afraid to upset them? hrist they are killing innocents over there, and if they had a chance would do so here. If that is what they do when calm and happy, I want to see what they do when they are pissed off. Maybe they would shoot each other they would be so ready to just kill, and save our troops some ammo…
I miss North Carolina, great place to be stationed…

I remember a great episode of “Combat Zone” on the Military Channel about the battle of Najaf. I still remember how al-Sadr and his fucking cronies were actually allowed to leave the Mosque without our forces being allowed to do anything about it.
How frustrating is that? We had his ass and they let him get away. 13 of our guys dead on top of it.
Reaping what was sown doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface.
April 18th, 2007 at 12:17 pmMuslims killing muslims….makes me want to go back for a third tour! I got off active duty about 2 years ago and for some unkown reason this last year I’ve been itching to go back.
It’s no wonder that Google is helping the Chinese, look at the market potiential. That’s God these days to the “social capitalists”. They only want government interference when it helps them do business - otherwise they love the market. Guess their brains are too clouded with bong resin to realize that any goverment interference in a market economy (this inlcudes the almighty ChiCOMs) fucks up the market.
BTW Brad, North Carolina was a shitty place to be stationed. But SD was heaven on earth. We had UCLA, USC, SDSU, UCSD, UCI, and USD sorority girls with in a 50 mile radius…..not sure why I ever got out.
April 18th, 2007 at 12:23 pm@LCpl Jim:
Yeah, the footage isn’t working for me either. YouTube must be in full Dhimmi mode.
April 18th, 2007 at 12:29 pmif you hate rosie odonnell then you’ll love this dude. it’s sort of off subjest but very funny never the less..

April 18th, 2007 at 12:57 pmJDizzy, man you are way out in left field. NC was agreat place to be stationed. I hung out with the locals after the first year there, got to know a LOT of chicks. Plenty of places to party and have a good time. Also made great contacts in the business world, gave me some good insight for later in life. The BEST place was Ft Bliss in Texas, only 300 marines there for school, and 30,000 doggies. We’d go out and hit the bars, the girls ignored the army pups, but loved the Marines! After about two years of marriage and meeting my buddies from the Corps, the wife finally said she did NOT want to hear any more bar stories, or musings about who did what with which chick. No sense of humor tthere, I’ll tell you…
April 18th, 2007 at 1:51 pmwow, i just looked up ft lewis on google maps. not only does google maps allow you to look at arial pictures of it but you can actually zoom in further on ft lewis than the surrounding area
April 18th, 2007 at 2:08 pmI am actually having a really good time cruisin around ft. lewis checking out all the camps out in the field and fighting emplacements dug in the big field to the south of the base. Good times
April 18th, 2007 at 2:17 pmjust looked up ft benning.
April 18th, 2007 at 2:58 pmjust found 3/75th ranger bat(i guess i am cheating because i know where it is)
not to mention regiment HQ next door.

i need a drink.
not realtime, I think a few months old. Unless something has changed.
April 18th, 2007 at 3:04 pmThat Mehdi army video makes me sick. These towel heads really need to die, I hope Rumsfeld brings me back a towel for my fireplace mantle. Damn I hate these smelly Muslims.
April 18th, 2007 at 3:17 pmRENO
I think GoogleEarth uses a few satellites, the one I’m sure they use is Iconos. If you have intimate knowledge of the area, you can look for pock marks and other visual aids that you can then use to put limits on the date of its flyby.
April 18th, 2007 at 3:20 pmI am certain the images are NOT real time. But still, it should be restricted imaging.
Sorry for mis information bout Gore. Thanks for correction by @thepointyend above.
Its beyond me how this Al Sadr shithead was protected under the guise of respect. What the fuck?? i remember the reports when it was happening and I could tell he was bad news even on the MSM outlets.
I wish the US could part from its “moral highground” with guys like this.
April 18th, 2007 at 3:38 pmDMAC:
April 18th, 2007 at 4:35 pmAre you saying that you can actually see FOB’s and other OP’s of our boys in Iraq. If you can, we gotta doing something about this ASAP! There has to be some kind of way to contact good or some shit. If this turns out to be true, I am going to raise fuckin hell!
fraser
Google Earth is not real time. I am not sure how old the images are but I looked at where I live and don’t recognize any cars and I have been here a few years. It is disturbing how well you can see the military bases. You can also see A51 very well.
They do have a graphic over the White House so you can’t actually see what is on the roof. I am sure Cheney twisted someone’s arm and forced them to do something they didn’t want to do.
April 18th, 2007 at 5:12 pmwww.vidmax.com
They have some pro-American videos.
April 18th, 2007 at 5:35 pmMullah Cimoc say VT killings this part of destroying of usa for punish for war crime in iraq.
but go back long time. this because male of ameriki, and all western society, alienated or some say obsolete. this causing the frustration and go insane.
One famous ameriki satanist naming anton levay, him book call “secret life of a satanist”, him discussing this same subject so long ago and predicting accurately what happen this killing and why happenign this kind of the killing.
April 18th, 2007 at 7:05 pmTj say mullahcimoc is the problem here and others like him making excuses for his deceitful jew hating prophet who liked to molest little girls.
In also have one of these Terrorist recruiting video’s in my possession as it was given to me by a tudent who was muslim and trained in saudi arabia.
April 18th, 2007 at 7:14 pm@Mullah Cimoc: What the fuck, over?
April 18th, 2007 at 7:35 pmVT killings have absolutely nothing to do with Iraq. People should just respect the families who have suffered and shut up about it. The media is shit-grinning with excitement of what they love to tag as a massacre. Its their insensitivity and profit-whoring on this story that is almost as bad as their coverage of Iraq.
On the bright side, here is a very heart-warming video of an American soldier returning home after a tour and surprising his 6 year old son in his class at school. It really makes you feel good about what we are fighting for.
http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/99588/Father_Surprises_Son.html
April 18th, 2007 at 7:43 pmTrying to understand Mullah C’s post is like trying to unhook a bra with your dick–it’s hard to do, and it doesn’t make sense in the first place.
I think the Mullah is trying to tell us that the Founder of the Church of Satan(tm), Anton Leavey, probably predicted there would be wars in the future. What a fucking genius, praise Beelzebub!
That said, I think the Mullah deserves a ban; that post was pretty creepy, which is an achievement considering the broken English and the incomprehensible quality of his ideas. And for naming himself “mullah.”
April 18th, 2007 at 7:54 pmAmerica is obsolete, eh? Aren’t the people over there wearing and doing the same shit they were two thousand years ago? I guess we need to go back to trying to make fire.
Chad, can you track the IP on that one to see where it came from? I want to make sure the insults I unleash are properly targeted.
April 18th, 2007 at 8:04 pmFuck you mullah, you fucknut of a fuck.
This assholes name from here on should be juicyasswhisper.
April 18th, 2007 at 8:54 pmLiveleak is a fucked up pc of shit to, for every pro-troop video there are five propaganda tools. And all I can find on brightcove.com is leftist indoctrinating tools. Maybe I’m not looking deep enough but the fact is in this Country I shouldn’t have to.
April 18th, 2007 at 9:02 pmHAIL, SATAN!
So if Amerika is the Great Satan, and Satan talks to Anton Leavey, wouldn’t that make the late Anton Leavey President of the United States of Hell?
I think I finally understand Mullah’s point! That’s a good one, guy! Good for you–does Wal-Mart carry prayer rugs and compasses? I want to wake up every morning, get on my prayer rug, scratch my balls and fart towards Mecca. WHO’S WITH ME?
April 18th, 2007 at 9:16 pm@rumsfeld47: LOL
April 18th, 2007 at 9:56 pmI use Google Earth to help teach my kids geography. I think the images are about 2 years old. They have built a new neighborhood behind our house and in the google images it isn’t there yet. They started construction about 2 years ago. I do think all military installations should be somehow off limits. My sons wanted to see where their Daddy was in Ramadi—I know nothing about the city but you can tell where our men are—I don’t care how much of delay there is………I don’t like that at all.
April 18th, 2007 at 10:00 pmhey Guys ,no disrespecting the “religion of Peace” but if one of their Scholars(mullahs) is cimoc then we should be praising him in his stupidity. Incidentally, the quran makes good toilet paper, Particularly the pages that talk about killing christians and Jews.
April 19th, 2007 at 1:11 ammullah
You have the name and talk like an Arab and then you read American satanist books? I wonder if your Arab brothers would appreciate you reading such materials. Maybe if we ratted you to them, you would see what they do to untrue Muslems.
April 19th, 2007 at 1:56 amWhat Cimoc say … is the pussification of american men (started long ago) and the war crimes (madeup propaganda shit of wussy liberalists) are responsible for VT killing?
The libs would call shit like this a hate crime against them.
April 19th, 2007 at 3:38 amCimoc
Are you the oppressed? Are you feeling different from everyone? Are you considered just a psycopath loner?
OR
Are you really part of a bigger group of like minded individuals?
April 19th, 2007 at 3:51 amThe video won’t load for me. Damn youtube. I see terrorist propaganda all the time there, I have a lot of fun bashing on those guys.
April 19th, 2007 at 6:09 amDMac and Dam Ops,
Thanks for the not real time info on google. It is almost too bad because if it was we could watch the mushroom cloud rise after the Iranian nuke facility suffers an “accident”.
Mullah Cimoc aka Juicyasswisper,
April 19th, 2007 at 6:47 amnice try but you are obviously not for real. try harder next time, like, really spit some venom as a true jihadi would. only thing came from you was a wet fart.
Reno - “It is almost too bad because if it was we could watch the mushroom cloud rise after the Iranian nuke facility suffers an “accident”.”
Wouldn’t that be nice. Hell, they should do it on Pay-Per-View.
April 19th, 2007 at 8:20 amDid anyone check out the Yahoo email address at the end of the first video? Someone needs to get into that.
April 19th, 2007 at 5:26 pm[…] a week week ago I reported to you that we had kicked Al Qaeda out of their base in Iraq, the Al Anbar Province, and […]
April 27th, 2007 at 1:35 pmGuess Mullah C doesn’t think he should learn the English language. I’m not too sure WHAT he said, but whatever it was, it can’t be good!
May 3rd, 2007 at 6:56 pm
