way to go fred. Reminds me of Reagan in the fact that he remained generally positive and optimistic, talked quite straight without trying to kiss ass.
May 9th, 2007 at 3:34 amI am not real impressed with Fred Thompson. When his term ended in Tennessee he commented something like he didn’t like it and looked forward to returning to acting. If he didn’t like it, why is he considering running again?
May 9th, 2007 at 8:25 amGreg,
He didn’t like all of the backstabbing and two face crap that goes on in Washington. I admire him for stepping away from the b.s. instead of getting self-absorbed and feeling like a little king like most of our elected officials seem to do once they get embedded in Washington.

May 9th, 2007 at 12:16 pmJennifer - Then why not stay and try to change it instead of leaving? Leaving sounds like a Democrat strategy.
I haven’t fully decided on Thompson, and will listen to what he has to say and decide on my own, but his comments when leaving TN really stuck out to me.
