God Hates Fags
The sick bastards who violate the funerals of serviceman by taunting their grieving families, are now going after Jerry Falwell’s funeral. GodHatesFags.com publishes their protest schedule here.
Julie Banderas kicked their ass one Sunday afternoon. It all leaves me both simmering and speechless.
Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) is a controversial U.S. church headed by Fred Phelps and based in Topeka, Kansas. It runs the websites GodHatesFags.com,[1] GodHatesAmerica.com and others expressing condemnation of homosexuals, Roman Catholics, Muslims, Jews, Swedes, African Americans, Canadians, Americans, and other groups.
The organization is monitored by the Anti-Defamation League,[2] and classified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.[3][4] The group has achieved national notoriety in recent years due to its picketing of funeral processions for soldiers killed in combat, which functions as an extension of the Phelps’ anti-United States beliefs.
While its members identify themselves as Baptists, the Church is an independent church not affiliated with any known Baptist conventions or associations. The church describes itself as following Primitive Baptist (sometimes called “Old School”) and Calvinist principles. Its first public service was held on the afternoon of Sunday, 27th November 1955.[5]
The Church bases its work around the belief expressed by its best known slogan and the address of its primary website, “God hates fags”, and expresses the opinion, based on its Biblical eisegesis, that nearly every tragedy in the world is linked to homosexuality – specifically society’s increasing tolerance and acceptance of gay, lesbian, and bisexual people. It maintains that God hates homosexuals above all other kinds of “sinners”[6] and that homosexuality should be a capital crime.[7]
Violence directed against Westboro
During a March 26, 1993 protest at Topeka’s Vintage Restaurant, a riot broke out and eight WBC members were hospitalized for various minor injuries; WBC now pickets the restaurant every day, as well as the places of business where employees went after leaving the Vintage in an attempt to escape Westboro. In addition, the congregants hold a memorial service every year on the 26th, commemorating what they refer to as “the Vintage Massacre”.
In 1994, a woman tried to run down protesters in Topeka after one of them screamed obscenities at her while her pick-up truck was parked at a stop light. She was arrested, but was later found not guilty due to temporary insanity.
In 2003, WBC member Charles Hockenbarger, who was in his 70s at the time, had his face crushed in a beating after standing on a street corner holding a sign reading “THANK GOD FOR SEPT. 11″. Hockenbarger was recovering from open heart surgery at the time and ignoring the usual doctor’s orders for bed rest. Westboro posted photos of the aftermath of the attack on its homepage, claiming that the (still unidentified) perpetrator was a homosexual and that the attack had been part of a murder conspiracy to kill Hockenbarger, though offering no proof of these allegations.
During a protest at the 2005 presidential inauguration of George W. Bush, WBC protesters were slapped, kicked and had their signs forcefully taken by other protesters.
There have been differing reports on actions at an October 5, 2005, picket of a Wisconsin soldier’s funeral. One report was that Sheriff Todd Nehls asked Paulette Phelps to move so he could protect her. Her group called him a Nazi and refused to comply. A conflicting claim put forth by members of the WBC alleges that Sheriff Nehls punched Paulette Phelps in the face. Video of the purported incident at godhatesfags.com — which claims to show Nehls striking one of the church members — is ambiguous, and at the point the purported attack takes place, the camera is pointed at the ground (indeed, large portions of the video are made up of shots of Westboro members’ feet and the ground).[48]
During a picket in Seaford, Delaware on May 21, 2006, a mob broke through police lines and tried to assault WBC members who fled into a police van. Some of the mob then began banging on the van attempting to get inside. Two windows of the van were shattered before the van could get away. Five people face criminal charges.[49]
In 2002 Blue Valley North High School held productions of The Laramie Project play. Westboro members made it known that they were coming to picket the school. To their surprise many students cut class to meet the picketers and a small riot ensued with a few instances of car vandalism. The school later made tickets to the shows “buy ahead” in order to keep Westboro members from interrupting the play. Subsequently Phelps’ website started declaring that “God Hates Blue Valley North” and proceeded to picket every year’s graduation ceremony following the event.
What’s Rosie’s address?
Seriously though,we as a group should remain aware of any soldiers funerals that are within driving distance of where we live.We need to mobilize a large group to counter this cult of heathens.
May 16th, 2007 at 3:41 pmThere is a group:

May 16th, 2007 at 3:51 pm“Seriously though,we as a group should remain aware of any soldiers funerals that are within driving distance of where we live.We need to mobilize a large group to counter this cult of heathens.”
The Patriot Guard does an excellent job of protecting the families of our dead service members at their funerals.
May 16th, 2007 at 3:55 pmSpeechless is right! These people have no honor, just pure hate! Brainwashing these young ones too! Sick twisted SOB’s. The crap on the posters makes my blood boil! Grrrrrrrrr!
May 16th, 2007 at 3:59 pmThose motherfuckers seriously need to get double tapped. What they do is so disrespectful it’s actually sickening.
May 16th, 2007 at 4:00 pmOne of these days, the police are going to be just too tied up with other business to protect these nuts.
May 16th, 2007 at 4:16 pmThese sick folks do not speak for God. I know they *think* they do, but they don’t. If they EVER read their Bibles they would KNOW that, but obviously they don’t. They’re heart attitudes are really not that different from the Taliban or the insurgents. They just don’t have the opportunity to physically kill and maim. They do a lot of damage to the hurting and aching hearts of those families that have lost loved ones. I hope they remember what goes around, comes around because someday it will come home to roost on their own heads. What is so bad about them is that they give “religion” a worse name than it already has. TRUE religion does not believe, or act like these folks do. They’re just a bunch of sick, sensless, heartless kooks.
I hope they read this post because NO ONE IS ON YOUR SIDE!!, *MOST* OF ALL GOD. Morons…
May 16th, 2007 at 4:23 pmThe only thing that lets me sleep at night is the fact that these sick people will one day have to face God and defend their twisted words and actions.
No one this sick can escape God’s wrath, the same goes for islamic terrorists!
May 16th, 2007 at 4:35 pmthem’s ain’t Christians, them’s kooks. Falwell never claimed to be infallible, but he should be remember for his good deeds, not his controversies. They are the same exact scum as the self-loathing, blame-America-first leftists in this country of ours, just in a different wrapper. They talked of attending the Virginia Tech funerals too, the sick bastards. They come near me ever, and I’ll get Old Testament on their asses, with a good ‘ol fashioned stoning assault maneuver!
May 16th, 2007 at 4:46 pmMy dad is a Baptist minister and it pisses me off when people run around acting like loons using Baptist in their title and also proclaiming God as they act like demons… I have been Baptist for 25 years now and I have never EVER heard my father say God hates ANYONE… God hates the sin in ALL of us, but he loves us all as his children… sorry for getting religious… this crap just really gets to me…
May 16th, 2007 at 4:58 pmDistugsting! I can’t even imagine hating people with such vehement hostility!!! And those poor kids! What must their home life be like!?? Sick and twisted individuals there… Perhaps a funny farm round up is in order!!
May 16th, 2007 at 5:05 pmThey don’t serve or know the same God I do. Wonder if they’re a 501c3? Maybe their comments about IED’s and dead soldiers borders on a POLITICAL statement????? I believe that’s a no no for a 501c3….
I could be wrong, but I’d looooove to be right on this one.
May 16th, 2007 at 5:06 pmP.S. and that Shirley Phelps-Roper, what a HAG!
May 16th, 2007 at 5:08 pmGramps, just monitor their hate site for the upcoming pickets and be there to give them what they deserve, and when you do call in a 911 on the cops so that they are just not there. Do a flashdance on them, break their cameras(and heads) and be off before they can do anything. Thats the only way to treat these morons.Pity about the kids, brainwashed just like u know who. Their site is the most hateful that I have ever seen, with vids of their getting chased by the crowd in one. They ran into a police van which had its window smashed.
May 16th, 2007 at 5:11 pmIf you know any of the folk at a military funeral get them to call the patriotguard prior and they will be there for them. The guard must be invited by the family.
um….did you seriously just apologize for “getting religious”??? Is this something you’re ashamed of? Are you afraid of being judged or something?? Holy crap…for a 25 year “vet” Baptist, you sure don’t sound too strong in the faith. Might wanna double check that, Seth.
I think it says somewhere in the Bible about being ashamed of God in front of Man will have you being denied by Christ on Judgment Day.
Sorry for getting all “judgmental” on you.
May 16th, 2007 at 5:16 pmJohn 3:17
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
Well, that IS the Word of God, and it pretty much invalidates everything they stand for.
Oh, and if you ever see these people, you can’t cause them physical pain. As bad as it is, they are protected. So, if you ever see them, here’s what I suggest you do:
Walk right on by their pickett line. Ignore them totally. Don’t even look at them. What they really want is attention. They know that no one can touch them, otherwise they can, and will press charges. However, they know that they can at least get people riled up. So ignoring them will drive them nuts.
As for their message: God loves EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US, unconditionally. I could apologize for getting religious, but I’m not ashamed. It hurts me to think about how many people have turned from Christ because of these people’s hate. Romans 8: 38-39. Nothing we EVER do will be able to seperate us from the love of God or His gift of salvation. These people claim that all homosexuals all going to Hell. WRONG. While people who don’t accept Christ will, if you have, your already there. No amount of sin in your past, present, or future will be able to seperate you from God.
May 16th, 2007 at 5:43 pmThis kinda of shit makes me sick, especially what they are doing to their kids. These people should be shot.
May 16th, 2007 at 5:51 pmDamn right wingers…you just can’t trust em!!!!!
May 16th, 2007 at 5:53 pmI was in Topeka, KS. (home of these Wackos) not too long ago, a buddy of mine who lives there informed me that one of Phelps’ own kids is a homosexual. Aside from this, most of the “flock” are attorneys of some sort and they film all of their protests just in case someone “does” something to them. They also live in a couple of compounds in Topeka, my vote is for another Waco, burn them bitches down! (chain the doors first)
May 16th, 2007 at 7:31 pmI really don’t get the WBC. They say “we” allow and accept homosexuality. I’d like to know who the fuck is, “we,” because I don’t fucking recall ever condoning the lifestyle, ever. It must be that “collective guilt” thing. One does it so they’re *all* bad.
And, gee, you’d think it would occur to them it was 19 swarthy Islamofascist scumbags that perpetrated the horrific terrorist attacks of 9/11.
May 16th, 2007 at 7:54 pmOh, and one more thing: If they, like most liberals, hate America so fucking much, WHY DON’T THEY JUST GET THE FUCK OUT?
(Answer: Because being a bunch of grandstanding hypocrites is sooo much easier.)
May 16th, 2007 at 7:59 pmone crazy group of motherfuckers!Too bad lightening doesn’t strike them or a nice bullet.
May 16th, 2007 at 8:23 pmCan I shoot these people and get away with it?
May 16th, 2007 at 8:34 pmDr D Semper FI,
May 16th, 2007 at 8:36 pmThey deserve to get hit by a semi-truck and then backed over for good measure. Or even better, they deserve to get their kneecaps blown out and then double tapped a few hours later.
It ticks me off when cults go ballistic. I checked out their websites and it is an amazing thing to behold. They quote scripture like crazy, and twist it to their perceptions. They forget that Jesus Christ came to save the sinners (all of us!) and that he showed compassion and healing to all. He did not require a background check of the person he was going to heal beforehand.
It is groups like these that keep the left in a constant state of frothing at the mouth (oh, wait, my mistake. It was just Rosie eating another powdered donut).
May 16th, 2007 at 9:38 pmif they wanna thank god for IEDs, why don’t we plant a bunch of them under the grounds of their next protest. then they can be enlightened as to what the fuck those things do, and we can all be thankful for their dissappearance from the earth. or else just pull another Waco
May 16th, 2007 at 10:04 pmWish they didn’t get media coverage. It’s getting old. That’s all they’re trying to do anymore is get national attention.
They even post their rants on youtube.
May 16th, 2007 at 10:05 pmthe only thing I could say to these people: is “remove the log from your own eye before you see fit to remove a splinter from anothers eye”
are the “minister” and his wife claiming to be sinless themselves? they should tell me where God says he hates this or that person?
I would hate to be one of their children and come to the realization that I am a homosexual or that I want to serve in the military.
In 1996 I was at a christian coalition function and one of these “retards” with a “its adam and eve not adam and steve” sign was in the middle of other christians praying or just watching a bunch of feminist, homosexual or othe libtards making a mockery of themselves in protest. needless to say the picture in the washington post the next day was this jerk with the sign. give the media a chance and they will exploit even a hint of predjudice.
I have to say if anything could bring americans together its something like this. But no doubt liberals will use this to put the focus on christianity and take it off of islam. its a great distraction. these people must have absolutely no friends.
May 17th, 2007 at 12:47 amraptor pilot,
May 17th, 2007 at 12:50 amyou can only shoot them if you are gay and claim to be a victim. it would help if you were black or mexican as well as a liberal.
A. S. Wise, a talk show host Mike Gallagher made an agreement with them. He’ll give them time. I’m not sure if it was an hour or if he turned his entire three hours over them. In exchange they agreed not to show up at the student’s funerals. This was the second time Gallagher’s done this. Gallagher in no way agrees with these nut-jobs, he does it to keep them away from their targeted funerals. I missed both of those shows. Maybe he’ll set up something with them to keep them away from Fallwell’s funeral. I’d have loved to hear the call-ins. The Phelps are a preview if the world loses to islamofacism.
May 17th, 2007 at 1:06 amThis group of people truly PISSES ME OF!!!!!! I am not relgious, but having know religious people,i can say they would never agree with these people at all. Protesting at funerals, especially soldiers funerals is low
May 17th, 2007 at 2:31 amExtremist views are fine with me - when they are rationally expressed. Freedom of Speech is important to me.
BUT this stuff goes to a level that is immoral under the guise of being moral. Its deception at its finest. Its collusion under false pretense. Its condemnation rather than invitation.
Oh, Its all the things Kipp stands for. Only difference - Kipp’s religion is appeasment at all cost.
May 17th, 2007 at 2:47 amSatan quoted scripture also to try to manipulate circumstances and people to his evil purposes. Westboro Not “Baptists”, NOT IMPRESSED!
Maybe they can remind us of where we’re told to show respect for the “superior authorities” that God grants the right to rule and holds accountable to provide law and order. Romans?
May 17th, 2007 at 4:27 amLadies and Gents, our own American version of Taliban.
Makes me wonder if, as a `church’, they are tax exempt???
Hello! calling the IRS …
May 17th, 2007 at 5:26 amGreetings:
Here’s something we can do.
Acquire names and addresses of these people, especially the leadership. Post those names and pictures and addresses everywhere.
THe best way to combat a problem is often to expose it to the light of day. Sunlight has an excellent cleansing power.
Don’t hit ‘em with a Mack truck or shoot ‘em…what a waste of ammo and chrommed grilles.
I say, don’t ignore them. Walk right up to them. Don’t touch them. Just stare at them. Give them more attention than they want. They won’t be able to stand the pressure. If I was ever nearby I would do just that. Walk right up to them, stare them down…eyeball to eyeball. Or, if you like, get fifty people and ring them then turn your back on them like those people did to that KKK rally (I forgot where).
Tim Roesch
May 17th, 2007 at 5:37 amCommand Private Major
Shirley Phelps-Roper looks like Riff Raff in Rocky Horror Picture Show! What a nutter.
May 17th, 2007 at 5:44 amThe Patriot Guard is doing a tremendous service for our military families and all military atendees of funerals of their brethern.
May 17th, 2007 at 6:04 amShortly after I attended the funeral of a LT in the Marine Corps this wacko protesting group gained national prominence. I thought about what the reaction might have been to the protest group by many of the Marines that attended the funeral. I think it was possible that the Marines would have beaten the shit out of the protesters and landed in the brig… Actually, just beating them up would be a blessing. They could kill every one of these ass hats with their bare hands in under a minute.
So, thank you Patriot Guard for protecting those that attend military funerals from themselves!
Seth Kegley–Don’t apologize for getting religious–the other side of religious is this bunch of psychotic bastards. How in the world can a person get up in the morning and look forward to another day of that crap.
May 17th, 2007 at 6:36 amIt would be good for them all to die a very slow, painful death at Abu Graihb.
To Seth Kegley - “Never appologize. It’s a sign of weakness” - John Wayne (Capt Nathan Brittles) in “She Wore A Yellow Ribbon”
May 17th, 2007 at 6:42 amGood news is the “church” is made up of less than 100 people most of whom are from that one crazy incestual Phelps family.
The founder of that disgusting group has a son who left the church and wrote a book about his family and his father and their hate group. Needless to say the family has damned him to hell as well.
The real justice will come to them when they meet their Maker and He will let them spend eternity comtemplating His true words down below… hope they bring an asbestos suit.
May 17th, 2007 at 6:52 amGentlemen….(I use that term advisedly)
Engage brain before taking any action. These people obtain legal degrees, and deliberately set themselves up in order to sue. This is how they make their living. Whether they believe what they profess to believe is an unknown to me, but I guess it’s easier than working. Old Papa Phelps is a cagey old bird - and knows how to work the system. Consider it sort of legal welfare.
What we need is for some judges to throw out their cases. Till that happens, they’ll keep doing what they’re doing.
I suspect this is the same gambit used in the LA police situation on the 1st of May at McArthur Park. I understand that one of the groups that was represented already settled with the city for some amount of money in the ’90s. My guess is that they ran out and needed more. The city will settle again so that they don’t have to defend the suit. Easy money. You don’t have to do a lot of fund raising. One day’s work with a camera man on duty to film the relatively light punishment handed out by the police and the till is refilled.
May 17th, 2007 at 8:04 amThese whack jobs are the American version of those muslum terrorists. To quote one of my favorite albums “Kill em All”
May 17th, 2007 at 8:12 amPlease don’t take these people too seriously. They don’t deserve all of the media attention they have gotten. They do not speak for God. Do not turn away from Christ because of them.
May 17th, 2007 at 8:20 amYes M Davis…Jesus would forgive those who attacked WTC…NOT bomb them.
May 17th, 2007 at 8:58 amTurning the cheek is true Christianity….like the Quakers. I’m not a Quaker but they have it right….ALL killing is wrong…regardless who does it…oppose abortion, death penalty & war.
Yes Patriot….and there was nothing violent about Jesus and early Christians….NO WEAPONS USED…true Christianity
May 17th, 2007 at 9:00 amI am a Baptist Bible-translation missionary. I am both grieved and angered by the behavior of these sick people who claim to be Baptist/Christian. I believe that I can speak with authority on this subject as someone who has listened for years to the sermons of some of the greatest preachers in America and sat at the feet of some of the finest Baptist College professors for over 5 years and have earned a Bachelors and Masters degree, as well as pastoring a small congregation myself: these people do not represent Baptist beliefs nor their doctrines. Bible-believing Christians believe what the Bible says in essence: hate the sin but love the sinner. It is true that God hates the sin of homosexuality with a passion, even more so than other types of sin, but Jesus Christ died for ALL sinners and ALL sin, including the homosexuals and their sins. My Biblical role as a Christian is to love all people and present them with the soul-saving message of the Gospel of Christ who died for them. If they reject it, then their blood is on their own heads. Jesus commanded his first congregation to go throughout the world, preaching the Gospel and making disciples of all nations. He clearly did not give His congregation a command to go about as protesters at the funerals of our brave soldiers, doing what these foolish people are doing. Yes, Christians are to contend for the truth, and homosexuality is definitely evil, but so is lying, cursing, adultery, etc. What people of all stripes need is the Gospel of Christ, not what these so-called “baptists” are doing. They are doing far more harm than good to the cause that they profess to believe in. Whether they are really Christians or not, I have no way of knowing, but I am certainly ashamed of them. I feel especially sorry for the sakes of the military families whose funerals they have protested at, making complete fools of themselves.
May 17th, 2007 at 10:06 amall i have to say is, fuck these guys.
May 17th, 2007 at 10:09 amthey should just c.s gas these fucks where ever they protest or even better white phosphorous or tattoo the israeli or u.s flag on them and mail them to the middle east and let the nice friendly muslim extremists play with them.
May 17th, 2007 at 10:21 amThe Patriot Guard is a good deal, I’m on their list for helpers if needed in the area for these turncoats. Mabey Steve in MT can help me out here, I saw where our legislature passed a law banning such protests of a funeral to 1,000 feet of it and it’s route. At least if they cross a line, the cops have something to back them up in court. A Funeral is an example of freedom of relegion, can’t see how another relegion should be able to ruin the rights of another…unless it’s against the laws of the land. Hope they test it here again.
May 17th, 2007 at 10:40 amCan someone explain to me if God hates the world why they aren’t going to hell either????? They are infuriating.
May 17th, 2007 at 10:47 amThese fools were protesting outside my work yesterday. Makes my blood curdle whenever I hear about them.
May 17th, 2007 at 11:04 amthey’re blind idiots… imho those kids are as misled and being used as pawns like so many of the muslim idiots. @ least they don’t have their suicide bomber costumes on…. YET! though the IED & DEAD posters are as sick. -DEPORT!!!
So these freaks simply pimp their doodoo using a respectable & honorable soider’s funeral as a soapbox???
I choose to let God judge all. Including these sick sick fools…. judge not lest ye be judged
May 17th, 2007 at 3:58 pmHeath,
I was merely trying to respect others who may not have the same views I have… I am proud of my faith and upbringing, and I don’t shy away from acknowledging it as I did on this board… I try my best to be respectful of other peoples views though so those who aren’t Baptist are the ones I was apologizing to…
May 17th, 2007 at 6:55 pmPatriot Keep the faith, good word ,for all those that have ear’s to here
May 17th, 2007 at 7:19 pmTo you Pat Dollard ,Our prayer’s are with you ,and the men that are putting there lives on the line. God Bless!!!
May 17th, 2007 at 7:20 pmWhat has happened to out country. How long would this have lasted 50 yrs ago? This is so far past crossing the line it is no where in sight. Before returning I was watching AFN with one of our terps and these fucks were on the news, he couldn’t believe that we would allow something like this to happen in our country. I can’t either and believe this along with many other things will ultimatly destroy our country. The left’s poison has infected everything to the point of no return. I beleive it will be all down hill from here. And another thing, fuck the media and all the dumb ass O’s running this thing from behind ten layers of t-walls. You don’t know shit, your war college class tactics on fighting insurgencys don’t work you stupid fucks. Win the hearts and minds and create tens of thousands of insurents by acting like a big pussy. PATTON would have resolved this in the first year.
May 17th, 2007 at 7:25 pmMonkey 3631 has a point. these retards have a string of law degrees and make money off pissed off people who mess with them. How difficult is it get a law degree and be a court representative in the US. Obviously not too, or these whackos whould never pass, or is it that they attend some uni where the left is so enamoured with the thought of destroying the culture that they pass the buggers anyway.mayby its that.
May 18th, 2007 at 2:52 amAnyway as I said before, a guerilla attack on the bastards, after getting the cops out to an imaginary big attack on the other side of town, licence plates covered
and not be seen in the town again, all video confiscated and all cameras smashed, and removed, and adults terminated with extreme predudice. Wouldnt that make the phelps take note.Specially the hag.HE would just go onto utube and give another sermon of what amerika is DOOMED,DOOMED,AND DOOMED again.
Shit we aussie play rough. Wish I was there to help the Patriot Riders, I would have an Aussie Flag and be departed on the next flight. No extradition for a patriotic act.
THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ROUND UP, CORRALLED, AND SHOT.
May 18th, 2007 at 4:24 amDenis,
“No greater love a man has than he lay down his life for his friends”
killing is wrong, however, Jesus was one person who was killed despite being on of the nicest guys on the earth. Are you suggesting, we stand by and let islam take over our country? Certainly if we lay down our life without taking any we are true martyrs.(emulating jesus) but doesnt laying down our life mean we are laying down the lives of countless other citizens who may not be christians? Can you honestly say you wouldnt defend yourself to the point of killing someone if your own life was personally threatened?
War sucks, but losing your freedom or your life equally sucks. I dont think it is Gods will that we give up our lives without a fight. Gandi, MLK, jesus all gave up their lives promoting peace.
certainly jesus example is the loftiest of ideals but would he condemn us for defending ourselves or the lives of others?
if you think its easy to say I will not do violence, then go into a dangerous neighborhood and practice this now! Go into the streets of detroit or LA and tell the cryps or bloods you wont defend yourself or others against their terrorism. then go to a fundementalist camp and present yourself as an infidel and see how long you live! I believe Jesus dictum when it comes to the threat against an individual person, but when the threat is national or global and covers a slew of innocence I dont think jesus advocates large scale suicide!
May 18th, 2007 at 4:41 amGMONEY - WHAT THE FUCK WOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT BANDING TOGETHER AS A GROUP…YOU CAN’T EVEN SUPPORT AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN FAMILY. AMAZING THE COMMUNICATION SKILLS THAT YOU HAVE BEHIND YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN…YET IN A REAL LIFE FACE TO FACE YOU DEFINE THE WORD COWARD.
May 18th, 2007 at 5:00 amDenis,
As usual, you have a myopic view of things. (And I am about to discuss Jesus etc. when I really don’t like doing that on these boards when the topic is NOT such … But you “invoked” Him … So, 1000 pardons to everyone else.)
Recall Jesus curing the blind man who spent his life collecting charity from others who actually worked hard in life. One of His (JC’s) reasons for curing him was so that he would get off his ass and take charge and care of himself, and stop making excuses. Some of the Apostles objected, concerned for the drastic alteration to the man’s once passive life. Jesus argued that the man had to start doing for himself.
So, if you truly believe you need to just sit there as they cut off all four of your cheeks, and rape and behead everyone you call friends and family, you go right ahead.
As for being against the death penalty: Jesus could have removed himself and the two other men crucified beside him. One of them responding to the other’s demand to do just that, silenced the other by informing him that they deserved the punishment (and that Jesus did not). The point is, Jesus knew His entire life he was to be executed as punishment for ALL men’s sins. He objected slightly while praying in the garden, but sucked it up and accepted the fate. Anyhow, how do you feel about the torture and execution of people by your beloved Castro and Chavez???
When the evil Islamists understand the kind of humility and regard for the value of life then we can alter OUR M.O. in dealing with them …
As for {your} being anti-abortion … ~ppfffhhhhh~ LMAO!
May 18th, 2007 at 5:46 amP.S.
@Denis
Yes Patriot….and there was nothing violent about Jesus and early Christians….NO WEAPONS USED…true Christianity
1) Jesus was a Jew, and he was not so narcissistic as to tell his followers, `Hey, let’s break from the Jews and we’ll call ourselves `Christians’ in honor of me’ … IF you truly consider yourself a `Christian’ you must recognize Judaism as the foundation for Christianity (and in that case support and defend “true” Jews today, i.e., Israel.)
2) Jesus was from the “House Of David” … You know, the dude that took down the big bad giant with a stone (but would have loved a Howitzer.)
3) Early Christians were hung on crosses and used as every form of “fodder” for the Romans’ pleasure
4) “early Christians” did not have weapons, and were more than likely killed if found possessing them
5) If I were you, I would NOT assume to `question’ the Christianity of tens of thousands of American troops who are serving this country on the battlefield of `religious survival’ for everyone in the world.

I know what you think with them outside your work place doing their clown act. A couple years ago I saw some protesters on the main drag of a college town here, Bozeman, didn’t think anything of it as we here in the stix dubbed that place the Peoples Republic of Bozeman, PRB, and expect misguided students to test their prof’s teachings since they aint got the balls to do it themselves. Later we went to the cemetary to visit a relatives grave and sure as shit, there were two protesters inside the entrance of the military section. The wife did all she could to keep me in the car as I have a history of diving into shit even tho I end up in the ER for it, to her relief I got back in. I saw in the paper someone called the cops on them and they were removed to the public street at least. I don’t think these protesters were part of the Kansas wacos, didn’t matter. The wife reminded me of the time I was in court in the early’70’s over a Flag desecration incident and I didn’t have to pay the other guys medicals as the JP ruled I was “Provoked”. That was a different town and different time. Don’t know what would happen today.
Seth Kegley,
Hey, I’m Catholic despite the not to shiney history of it’s existence, but if I think the clergy is out of line I bitch to the Pastor and withdraw my support if necessary…as I did when the Pope appologized for the Crusades. Over the years I’ve seen where if enough members pull out, all of a sudden the hierarchey sees this drop and it changes to accomodate the members somewhat. Would there be some way for the Baptist community to pull their membership or something?
I throughly enjoyed a news clip awhile back where one Palistinian lady Muslim was on their local TV ripping an Imam an new one. I commended her for trying to mobilize moderate Muslims against the Whabists in the hope her faith may survive the damage their actions have caused. She got that pegged alright. Each time the jihadists attack infedels, it’s like an invitation of destruction that all the rest have to pay for. I’m glad to see reports here that the locals in Iraq have about had enough of their BS and turning the whabists in to local authorities more and more. They know that’s the only way to get the US out of there.
May 18th, 2007 at 8:27 amMy understanding is that this group is not affiliated with any Baptist association (i.e. Southern Baptist Convention)… if they are Independent then they can use Baptist as the title in their church all they want unfortunately… what pisses me off about this is that the media does not explain that this group is not associated with other Baptist churches and leaves the idea that they are part of the same groups as other Baptists…

Please put a watch on this jerk called “Your Mama”. IMO ….Directed disrespect of this degree is uncalled for.
Your Mama:
May 18th, 2007 at 4:50 pmWhat’s wrong with your keyboard. This is not the place for personal grievances. Take your shit somewhere else.
Legislation does work….Hey folks it starts with someone. Contact your State Gov. Reps. It worked in Ohio And I found State Reps in Iowa and made alot of calls, talk to these people. IT WORKS. Get your vet groups involved.Flood them with emails. Point to the Iowa and Ohio Legislation As well as other states. What was done here started out as legislation using the term “Protesting at Military funerals”. That caused split support. I seen how easily it received incredible support once Ohio widened there legislation from just protecting Military funerals and made the law apply to all funerals. I personnally made sure every State Gov. Rep. and Senator saw this.Once the the legislation was re-worded and written to protect all “funerals” it gained support from both sides of the isle. IT EASILY PASSED.The Iowa law, requires protesters to stay 500 feet from funerals and ratchets up punishments for multiple violations. A first offense is a simple misdemeanor, punishable with no more than 30 days in jail and up to $500 in fines. A third offense or more is a felony, punishable by up to five years in prison and fines up to $7,500.
May 19th, 2007 at 7:12 amIT’S A TOOL FOLKS. IT GIVES LAW ENFORCEMENT WHAT THEY NEED TO REMOVE THESE IDIOTS. IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE TOOLS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT TO USE THESE IDIOTS RUN WILD.
After this you can say you helped with creating laws and forced your legislators to “Do the right thing”. By all means. ALSO….Join the Patriot Guard. Ride with Respect! Stand for those that Stood for US.
Man seeing that shit pisses me off so much that I wish I was around those funerals when those cowards started picketing,I defently would be going to jail but for that its well worth it
May 21st, 2007 at 12:53 amLOL, How scary is that woman in the photo with Julie Banderas?????????
Seriously, to all the Baptists here in this thread that are upset to be linked with WBC. Relax, as a Catholic, I am not worried about being linked in with pedophile priests. Anyone who judges all Baptists by the actions of the crazy few wasn’t that bright anyway.
Patriot Guard ROCKS!
May 21st, 2007 at 8:29 pmScrew these assholes.
If I see them, I am going to have an accidental brake problem
May 21st, 2007 at 9:24 pmSeth,
dont worry about the baptist label. Its just a label and doesnt move me. Just as anyone can say they are a christian, proclaim themselves a pastor and start a church, anyone can name their church anything they want to as well.
tenicacid,
1 point. The pope never apologized for the crusades, he apologized for the abuses of the crusades, and there were many including the killing of jews. The stated intent of the crusades was to get back lands stolen by islam. In their zeal, many crusaders abused their power. This is what was apologized for. the crusades were called when the church in constantinople appealed for help from the roman church.
I understand the point you were trying to make though and it is well taken.
May 21st, 2007 at 11:14 pmAmen, OIFVet. I’ll probably be in the same cell with you. High five, buddy.

Every now and then I go to their website and tell them what I think of such scumbags. A good place to vent! I implore everyone to do the same.

May 23rd, 2007 at 11:14 pmI think this group if people is to be admired for their ability to target the paradox of Sam’s dream. Nowadays all we hear, apart from these dudes at God Hates Fags, is Jesus loves you, you are a great consumer, and blah-blah.
Fact is, according to your own bible, God’s not that much of a nice guy. Deluge, fire and brimstone, no mercy: that’s mainly what you’ll read about. But this is not a message that sells well on our Tom Consumer planet, where only feel-good messages sell to a mind-controlled mass of sheeple.
Thanks for the entertainment, Fred. Long may you run.
