Iran’s Ultimate Leader Denies Upcoming Baghdad Talks Will In Any Way Address Iran’s Interference In Iraq
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on Wednesday said he supported U.S.-Iran talks in Baghdad about improving Iraq’s security, state-run television reported.
But he warned that the talks would only focus on American responsibilities in Iraq — not Iranian influence.
“The talks will only be about the responsibility of the occupiers in Iraq,” the broadcast quoted Khameni, who has final say on all state matters, as saying.

This is another parody, right? Had me go’in for a minute there…It seemed like Ayatollah is setting the agenda to exclude the point of the talks, which makes it pointless to even hold the talks in the firstplace.
