100 Days Of Nothing

FROM NEWSBLAZE.COM:
Pelosi Power Petering Out?
Nancy Pelosi, San Francisco’s most accomplished straight queen, came into power with great fanfare and hoopla.
It was to be a new day in America, promised the bug-eyed liberal extremist.
With a socialist female at the helm, a liberal renaissance would right the ship that had drifted so dangerously off course while evil Republican males were in charge.
Back in early January, Speaker Pelosi seemed full of vim when she boldly pledged to end the Iraq war, eliminate the Bush tax cuts for the rich, and eradicate the Culture of Corruption.
More than 120 days later, Pelosi Power has accomplished - nothing!
Except, that is, to drive congressional approval ratings below those of the man whom Pelosi calls “incompetent,” AKA President Bush.
President Bush may, in fact, be incompetent. But even so, he seems quite capable of out gunning the even more incompetent Speaker Pelosi.
The last manifestation of Pelosi Power failure came when Democrats announced on May 21st that the funding bill for the Iraq war would be submitted to the president without the foolish timelines that Pelosi was so proud of.
Pelosi Pork, amounting to scores of billions of dollars in the funding bill that was vetoed by the president, is also to be removed.
Those billions, it will be recalled, were used by Speaker Pelosi to bribe reluctant House members into voting for surrender.
Amazingly enough, since Pelosi hijacked the Speaker’s gavel, America’s troop commitment to Iraq has actually increased.
No doubt the Speaker did not help her cause by visiting and cajoling with Syrian President Assad, a major sponsor of terrorism.
And botching a simple message from Israel Prime Minister Olmert only added to Pelosi’s reputation as a diplomatic menace that should seek a career more in line with her native intelligence and skills.
Like suicide bomber, for example.
Pelosi’s failures in the Iraq war and international diplomacy might be at least partially excused were she to produce a spectacular triumph in dismantling the Culture of Corruption.
Regrettably, the Pelosi record with regard to corruption can be summarized in just two words: William Jefferson.
Ouch and ugh! are two other words that seem apt.
Still, the Pelosi experiment seems to be confirming a fundamental truth about American culture and politics:
For some, a woman’s place is in the home - but NOT the House!
It’s frustrating because it’s not unlike having rusty railroad spikes driven through your ears, but, it’s best they’re allowed to rant on so they can expose themselves for what they are.
May 22nd, 2007 at 11:36 pmI was a bit dissapointed with your coverage of the photo; you failed to identify the other children in the photo; surely they would improve the quality of our representation in Congress.
May 22nd, 2007 at 11:54 pmstraight queen!
May 23rd, 2007 at 12:54 amPelosi’s many attempts to create her own quotes and refer them to actual Bible passages brings only one image to mind:
a slithering serpent with forked tongue.
This, the epitome of a non-leader.
May 23rd, 2007 at 4:40 amMoveon.org is running a radio ad here in Lansing, MI. bitching about Sen. Carl Levin and the troop funding bill. In the end he sided with funding without time lines and they (Moveon) are now urging people to vote him out. I would like some suggestions to get rid of them BOTH. This group is as dangerous as the jihadist! If they are bold enough to run an ad like this openly calling for defeat they are bold enough to start throwing money at the terrorists to commit crimes against our soldiers. What a shameful and decietful group.
May 23rd, 2007 at 5:21 amAhhhhhh….another angry white woman…..shameful indeed
May 23rd, 2007 at 6:53 amThey have accomplished alot. They have suceeded in dividing the country more now than it has been in decades. I don’t talk to half of the people I used to cause they are so clueless when it comes to our foreign policies and what we need to accomplish cause they listen to the lies the democrats spew. Most are too ignorant or willing to explore this site or others I recommend in order to get the real stories. They have suceeded in making themselves look like bigger jackasses then we already knew they were.
May 23rd, 2007 at 7:06 ammoveon.orgasm is due to explode from the pressure building up inside. They are starting to see the payoff from all their money and their goofy socialistic bullshit. There is no payoff. Your loyal democrats take your money and laugh at your sorry, socialistic butts.
May 23rd, 2007 at 7:43 ammoveon.orgasm would do well to do as the name says–move on. Move on to al qaeda and give them your socialistic money-after all, you are counting on them to do your dirty work more than you are your asshole democrat buddies anyway.
The Iraq war funding bill was all political theatre, designed by gutless dems to satisfy their left wing. If they had any courage and believed what they said, they would have voted for a spending cut off. But they are gutless and fakers. HA HA HA. They lost. By the way, it shows how back stabbing they are, running ads to vote out one of their stalwart liberals, Carl Levin, just because he didn’t follow their marching orders. Politicians are elected to use their own judgment, not be tools of a special interest group like moveon, who are devoted to the destruction of America as we know it.
May 23rd, 2007 at 8:14 amPope ok’s excomunication of catholic legislators that condone and vote for abortion,,,and she should be arrested for impersonating a sec. of state,,,she is the new leader of our second gov’t.. she and scary harry along with tretcherous murky murtha have split this country in two..just what the democratic party of iraq and iraq and syria wants,, we need to get back to a one gov’t country,,
May 23rd, 2007 at 8:57 amjust read where sinner ,, i mean senator clinton is trying to single handedly interfer in the doings of the military,, is that in the constitution????she is telling gen. pace to start plans for withdrawal fm iraq,,
May 23rd, 2007 at 9:51 am“San Francisco’s most accomplished straight queen” ROFLMAO
NancyPants looks like she’s ready to gavel one of those kids. Better get it away from her. Seriously, we should talk about anti-gavel legislation. Those things are dangerous. :nods:
America got exactly what it voted for indeed. It makes the RINO/CINO-led Congress look like a fucking picnic. Boy, do they know how to fuck something up in spades or what?
May 23rd, 2007 at 9:54 amRussell Feingold, Wisconsin senator, on fellow Dems:
“There has been a lot of tough talk from members of Congress, but it looks like the desire for political comfort won out…”
Doesn’t that just about say it all?
May 23rd, 2007 at 10:26 amIf Nancy wants to be the most incompetent woman in America, why by all means step up and take the trophy dear.
You know, in a really weird way, 100 days of nothing is okay. Roadking said they’ve succeeded in dividing the country now more than it’s ever been. But some folks are also feeling ‘galvanized’ to act up and speak up, and that’s good. Between the Iraq war bill and the amnesty bill, this Congress has been getting lots and lots of heat from the taxpayer, and I’m loving it.
My eye kinda twitches when I think this, but let the Dems show themselves for what they are. Just might have an impact on those ‘08 elections. They are grabbing at straws right now ON BOTH SIDES of the aisle, and they deserve to squirm a little bit.
We’re living in interesting times!

May 23rd, 2007 at 2:52 pmnot true!!!
Just saw drudgereport…Dems now have/or will have OVER 36 investigations going of Bush admin!!!
This is great!!!
This will keep White House bogged down.
May 23rd, 2007 at 3:42 pmDoes this really surprise anyone. I know I’m preaching to the choir here. They had no idea of what to do once in control, they just wanted to be in control. Maybe some of them should step foot on the streets of Iraq.

May 23rd, 2007 at 6:18 pmexcommunicate any Christian who believes in abortion, capital punishment or war!!!
Christ was completely non violent.
May 24th, 2007 at 5:21 amEarly Christans NEVER used weapons. This is true Christianity.
“Amazingly enough, since Pelosi hijacked the Speaker’s gavel, America’s troop commitment to Iraq has actually increased”.

nancy pelosi::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: den mother on nothing, standing for nothing but herself & speaks simply to hear herself speak.
i have a suggestion where she can plant that gavel….
May 24th, 2007 at 6:22 amLooks like Pelosi is going to crack that kid on the head with her gavel. He must have said something nice about the President.
May 24th, 2007 at 7:23 amJJ - she is actually trying to perform a “post third trimester abortion” on the infant.
May 24th, 2007 at 11:25 amSteve,
May 24th, 2007 at 12:30 pmFunny (in a sick ’cause it isn’t that far from the truth kind of way)……thanks for the laugh–I needed that.
Denis, the apostle Peter carried a sword and was ready and willing to use it as needed!!!! Go educate yourself before talking here about Christianity! You have NO CLUE what it truly is. Jesus was no wimp, like you are.
May 24th, 2007 at 12:42 pmjesus did NOT carry weapons…all his teaching was non violent.
Christianity HAS to be non violent.
I mean …whose side is God on in all the hundreds of wars where Christians killed Christians or non Christians…
May 24th, 2007 at 3:28 pmEngland v France…Holland v England Russia v Prussia…etc etc etc…God is on NO SIDE…some pro mwar people think God is ONLY on side of USA…how ridiculous….
Denis, God is on the side of right.
Here today is no middle ground Denis. As hard as you pretend there is by taking things out of context. You’re either for what’s right or you’re not. You can check, Jesus said that too. That’s why when the libs got their panties in a wad over Bush saying that, it cracked me up, it showed how clueless they really are. Was Jesus a cowboy too?
The Apostle Peter DID carry a sword and obviously had no problem using it to defend himself when threatened, it’s documented, albiet in an ‘ancient book’.
May 24th, 2007 at 6:08 pmNon violence is the highest ideal but not the most pracvtical one when threatened with annihilation. The difference between democrats and republicans on this war is that republicans believe the terrorrists when they say they want to make the world one religion, and the democrats dont belive them despite the many attempts throughout history and even today.
Jesus said no greater love a man has then he lay down his life for his friends. He didnt say therefore when your enemy comes to annihilate you , dont fight. Remember the faithful roman soldier story where he said “only say the word and my servent shall be healed”, he never told him to quit his Job.
I cant say this means jesus advocated war, but he didnt condemn it either. Jesus death was necessitated by our sins, it was God’s will, I am hard pressed to believe that the death of most of humanity or its subjugation is also his will.
personally, i dont believe God blesses war, he blesses righteousness. Perhas we will al end in hell, if that be the case, lets extend this life as far as we can!
May 24th, 2007 at 10:53 pmby the way denis, dont pretend to believe in jesus yourself, because faith in him means you surrender to his will in all things. Have you done so! well i can say neither have I. I am not willing to give my life or the life of others to reach that heavenly jerusalem just yet. If evil confronts you, we are to fight a spiritual battle against it, if it wishes to do bodily harm to me a lone, then giving up my life is righteous, but if it wishes to do others harm, i can not stand by and allow their sacrifice.
Jesus never sacrificed anyone elses life. the greatest sacrifice is laying down your own life not others. We are defending christians, jews, muslims , hindus, buddhists, agnostics, druids, zorastrians, sihks, bahai’s, shintoists, atheists etc from these terrorists, and some of us are laying down ourlives. There is still hope for us!
May 24th, 2007 at 11:01 pmThanks for the great points TJ! I also think Jesus is just one, an all important one though, manifestation of “the God of Isreal”. Consider that in ancient Egypt when conflict arose that God was called “A Manly Person of War”, as you said to defend righteousness. Isreal had to be taking defensive action for Him to have something to work through.
Libs will always mischaracterize religious doctrine, that they have no understanding of, much less the FULL understanding of.
May 25th, 2007 at 5:04 amI think that many of you give way too much credit to Pelosi ie. “She split the country in two.” This ’serpent-like’ ‘double speaking’ ’straight queen’, from San Francisco who is deemed by Dollard to be so incapable is surely not the same person who has split the country in two? The point I am raising is it is not all about Pelosi, she is relatively insignificant. Why is it such a big deal that she isn’t “Getting things done” as Dollard put it, in her first 120 days as speaker? With an itchy trigger finger presidential veto and not a big enough majority in congress, that can be quite difficult. I don’t like Pelosi, but she is one of the only people to so adamantly oppose the president’s policies in which she doesn’t believe, and I think she is merely the mouthpiece of hundreds of millions of Americans who feel the same way.
