Iraq Prep Is All Consuming…
As y’all know I’m scheduled to leave in about a week, so I’ve got 6.53 million pending details on 4.28 million pending businees and personal issues to wrap up before then, so please be patient with the lighter posting during this process. Things’ll be picking up again this evening and tomorrow…
And From Maggie

May 27th, 2007 at 5:08 amPat,
Thank you for everything.
I quote from Captain Andrew Delgaudio, U.S. Marine Corps:
“The blood that we shed here …we’ll certainly never forget the pain, the suffering, all the emotions, the bleeding, the crying, the sweat, the tears … none of that .. is never going to leave us …
We’ll never leave it … because that is our legacy … I’ ll do my duty .. We’ll be here …We’ll do what has to be done …We’ll do it … Whatever it takes … we’ll keep doing it.
Keep safe,

I love these guys … past and present.

May 27th, 2007 at 7:00 amPat…be safe over there. Please let our soldiers know no matter what they see on the MSM, there are TRUE AMERICANS who believe our soldiers are a God Send. Tell them the MSM have gone pinko and the TRUE PATRIOTS are fighting hard here, at home, to get the truth out.
Steve in Montana..thank you for that link. You are correct. Every American needs to see that and I will do my part to get it out there!!!
May 27th, 2007 at 7:47 amHi Pat,
May 27th, 2007 at 9:13 amI hope you don’t get blown up because I really love your site and wouldn’t want it to go away. Thanks for all you do. My prayers are with you and the troops and their families. All you guys stay safe, keep taking names(Reid, Pelosi, Murtha) and kicking ass! God Bless America!
Michael Chevere
My hopes and prayers go with you to every American serving in theatre. Giving their life for mine, my comfortable cushy life where I wondered, just today, what was eating the holly trees and how to get the bugs off the roses…
May 27th, 2007 at 1:49 pmThat must seem very far away to anyone fighting for my life…
Stay safe Pat and, send us back honest reporting.
God Bless every man and women serving for me.
Excellent work Pat. That website by the way, was killer
May 27th, 2007 at 2:07 pmSteve In Montana. Good job. And Kudos to that W.O. for saying what needs to be said.
Keep safe and sound off if you need anything.
May 27th, 2007 at 4:06 pmHave a safe trip Pat and please tell each and every Marine you know Semper Fidelis for this former jarhead. And, I can pack my bags right now and back you guys up, I have my passport and everything, just say the word.
Semper Fidelis!
May 27th, 2007 at 4:13 pmGod bless Buck Compton, still going strong at 85! Currahee!
May 27th, 2007 at 5:20 pmmeant to stop by your blog more often Pat but we’ve been busy also…
You are such a fine strong voice for our men and women Pat.. No one loves them more than you do.
I guess that’s why everyone is fed up with the defeatist MSM news, those “people” only love themselves.
Please send our love and tell them that we treasure each and everyone of them, our Marines and Soldiers they are the very best of us.
Stay safe and God bless.
May 27th, 2007 at 6:32 pmHate to see you go but at the same time the marines you are serving with will get a huge morale boost.
Be safe and tell every military person you see that many americans are behind them 100%,
SEMPER FIDELIS
May 27th, 2007 at 7:43 pmhey good luck Pat, be safe man. Are you going there for more stuff for the documentary? Back to Ramadi for the “after” shot?
May 27th, 2007 at 7:56 pmgood luck pat, be careful bro.
May 27th, 2007 at 9:27 pmI like that “Pat, don’t get blown up.” My sentiments also.
Steve in MT,
Good pick on the article, I’ll pass it around.
May 28th, 2007 at 7:26 amHave a wonderful and very safe trip Pat and hope you had a greta Memorial Day weekend.
May 29th, 2007 at 5:36 amWishing you and our Military Heroes nothing but the best.
May 29th, 2007 at 5:47 amOur prayers are with you and our heroes daily.
Thanks for what you do to keep it out there.
Safe travels, Pat, and keep your head down.
May 29th, 2007 at 8:56 amFirst and foremost, take care bro.
Second, if you get a chance, it would be helpful to hear (video) from typical Iraqi citizens about whether or not they want US Troops to stay in their neighborhoods and protect them from terrorists/thugs/whatever until the Iraqi police and/or Iraqi Military can handle the task.
May 29th, 2007 at 9:38 amI’m tired of socialist assholes in America quoting fixed polls that show everyone wants us out like yesterday. It would be nice to be able to direct them to videos of average Iraqis (maybe via an interpreter if necessary) with some positive comments on the US military presence. I can get such videos out to a fairly large web audience if you can pull it off.
Just a thought - I know you have a lot on your plate. I’m just tired of these whining assholes over here distorting the truth about how average Iraqis feel about our presence there. God speed Pat.
Godspeed and stay safe.
Please tell my military brethren that there’s at least one other civ that’s pulling for them 100% back here at home.
May 29th, 2007 at 1:05 pmThank you Pat for everything you have done for the Corps and this Nation.
