I think you are on the wrong site. Firstly, you dont know if people are praying fo rthem or not. second, secondly I can love my enemy right to his grave. if he is a threat to my life the highest ideal is to give up my life but what does jesus say about protecting others from evil?
The new testament mentions the devil on more than 500 occasions. he is real and he is tormenting these muslim souls. aside from prayers of deliverance or outright exorcisms we have no other recourse but to pray for them then defend ourselves against them. But even prayers of deliverance and exocisms require the faith of the possessed and their determination to get well inorder for the deliverance to be efficacious. short of that we best send them to their maker soon.

I am not outright disagreeing. You can do all that… BUT you must do more. Jesus did not hesitate to kick ass in the temple. He did not cower in the desert to Satan. He wants no less from you. Love your enemies is never meant to render you impotent from holding your enemy responsible to pay for their wrongs. Penalties must be paid. If you really knew God you would understand that disclipline and penalty is necessary and that God expects that of you. There is no judgement carried out by you if your enemy means harm to the believers in Christ. The penalty is clear and must be levied if you are to serve your God. Else God will tell you on judgement day that you have not stewarded your gifts from him appropriately - you will pay the price. Turning the other cheek relates to your enemy discraging you - its not about outright violence against you.
God does not give you choice to do right or wrong without penalty. You will pay for not acting in defense of your God given right to live in a godly way. You can still love your enemy if you wish BUT do so as they are paying the price for their actions. If you do not hold your enemy to account for their wrongs you are failing to serve your God. The New Teastament did not replace the Old - only suppliments it. The real meaning of love your enemy is that you don’t hold them to account for their actions UNDER YOUR EMOTION OF REVENGE. IT REALLY MEANS: Kill if necessary but make sure they are paying the price for thier actions - not paying the price for your anger or revenge.
Do good to those that hate us is not meant to continue to do good if their hate turns to actions against us.
To pray for those who persecute means if you are unlucky enough (in your case stupid enough)to be PRISONER then you should pray for them that they might be held accountable by God - as soon as possible.
The peace you speak of is promised to individuals at the individual level. It is to be at peace with yourself in the eyes of your God. It is NOT I repeat NOT meant to be about peace between nations or ideologies.
God will deliver you form the hands of your enemy when your enemy kills you. If you have not stewarded your ABSOLUTE and God given ability to hold your enemy to account for their wrongs God might still deliver you BUT you will be at the lowest level of the Heavenly society. You will be the steps I walk on as I seek a higher level in Heaven than you.
Don’t believe me? Study Revelations - you will be rewarded according to your loyalty to God. Loyalty means stewarding your abilities. There is NO such thing as an even reward for all.
