Al Qaeda To Hamas: Piss Off

June 19th, 2007 Posted By Pat Dollard.

Given that Al Qaeda is rapidly growing its powerbase in Gaza, and has heretofor been helping Hamas, BUT would also like to run its own Perfect Islamic Government, this latest development is a very interesting and important harbinger of future events. From Debka:

DEBKAfile Exclusive: Al Qaeda orders chief of its Palestinian wing not to free BBC reporter Alan Johnston or negotiate release of Israeli soldier Gilead Shalit

June 19, 2007, 11:43 PM (GMT+02:00)
Mumtaz Durmush (r.)

The order appeared in an official al Qaeda Web site early Tuesday, June 19. It explains why Army of Islam leader Mumtaz Durmush is holding onto the British captive at the risk of a clash with the 500 Hamas Executive Force surrounding his compound in Gaza City.

Although Britain maintains no official ties with Hamas, the MI5 domestic intelligence chief asked the Palestinian Islamists to refrain from releasing Johnston by force for fear of his life.

In its statement, al Qaeda asks: Why is Hamas suddenly working for Johnston’s release when in Iraq and other places he would be executed? And how dare Hamas monopolize the Israeli Gilead Shalit and negotiate a deal with Israel?

DEBKAfile’s counter-terror sources report that the communiqué accuses Hamas of cutting its partners in the kidnap, a reference to Durmush and his Army of Islam, out of the picture.

Al Qaeda’s statement and its order to the group’s Palestinian minion makes the situation of the British and Israeli captives worse than before and brings it out in the open. Both governments have refused to admit that the group which seized Johnston 100 days ago in Gaza and has been one of Shalit’s captors for a year now is a branch of al Qaeda. Now that Osama bin Laden’s organization has published its involvement first time and given Durmush space for a long interview, denial is no longer be an option.

it’s just a bumper sticker slogan, remember there is no global war on terror

This has nothing to do with the above post. I just need to vent. I subscibe to the Marinecores.com. One of the articles was: Marines are too comfortable in Iraq”. Who the fuck are they kidding? My son is station in Anbar Provence at a shithole called “Hurricane Point”. Let’s tallk about comfort!!! No running water. He gets showernce a week for 2 minutes. It’s a so called gravity shower, which means the water comes from an over head tank. Even though we sent him over with a Laptop computer capable of picking up a signal 100 miles away, he can’t get shit. Part of the be a “Good Marine” incentive is once a week they get 10 minutes online. The commisary consist of hygeine products, suppliments and Gatorade at $4.00 a bottle. Needless to say I send 2 boxes a week with everything from socks (it’s sad when your 19 year old son begs for socks) to koolade, beefsticks, crackers and anything chocolate that won’t melt. And because we are not married I can’t buy any of this stuff on base! The higher ups doing the talking out of thier ass had better visit more than just the occupied palaces. I am positive that my son in the 3/7 would love to get the hell out of where he is currently at. What really burns my ass is the assumption that the American people (the 95% that have no ties to the war) get the impression that our marines are having a picnic in Iraq! Thanks for letting me vent! I would love to hear from anyone else who has a loved one in Ramadi!

wonder how this will play out for him, now that we know he supports al qaeda backed thugs

i wish he would just fucking die already

Granted the US pressured for a diplomatic Palestine, in which free elections were held somewhat backfired with Hamas taking control of the goverment, we must still take a look at the situation for what it is. Fatah contains various paramiliatry wings but militarily is much more scaled down then Hamas. Bottom line is that Fatah was a quasi-peaceful movment to unite Palestine and Hamas is a straight up muslim terrorist organization. Although most Americans probably could not tell you what Fatah or Hamas is…you would have to be nothing less then a fucking idiot to view the two groups equally. It is a situation in which we must take the lesser of two evils..and the eviliest of the two just slaughtered the latter.

As far as the article saying that Marines have it too comfortable in Iraq….That boils me to the point of no return. A quick story:

While stationed at a FOB in Fallujah this past year a buddy and me were called to testify at two trials of insurgent groups (who we caught in our AO) at the Central Criminal Court of Iraq located in Baghdad. We were heloed into the US Embassy and checked in with our person of contact who informed us that we needed to lock our weapons up in the armory of the platoon of Marines in the basement. These 30 or so guys were there to guard the embassy as they do embassies all over the world. We walked down….covered in dirt, mud, shit, tired as shit with our beat up gear and weapons. The kid on duty then told us how much he wished he was us..being a grunt..out in anbar doing the real shit, not sitting at the embassy. I wanted to fucking kill the kid. This kis had a pool, volleyball, burger king, a mall, girls, all the shit we dreamed about amid mortar impacts and pop shots. Six days later I returned to Fallujah…amid the VBIEDs and sniper shots and I couldn’t help but think about what that Marine had told me back in Baghdad. A week ago was I was eating a whopper poolside and now I was making my SAW condition one. I was exactly where I needed to be…

    nancela,

Marinecore.com must be suffering from some kind of sickness. If its too easy I hate to see what they think is difficult.

    Steve in Nc,

carters Peace prize turned him, like many others into 1st class knowit alls who think they need to be the leader on all issues, even if it mean placing yourself as a champion of criminals. Carter has taken christianity from love your enemies to make your enemies friends or worse: trust your enemies. He represents the crazy fringe of american liberals who will betray his countrey, give comfort to the enemy, and at best portray america as moral equivalents to our enemy. He will lok the other way at evidence that hamas is a terrorist organization bent on the anihilation of israel and then nitpick at every little thing america or israel does wrong. I used to like carter when I was younger but now i know he has either lost his mind, or is easily manipulated into guyilt feeling about being white, wealthy and formerly very powerful.

I mourn the death of presidents, his will not even be considered by me. He and hamas are the same. If I see him in public i would be persuadesd to throw tomatoes at him and spit on him.

The world better fucking wake up soon.

  7. John Cunningham

After a while you have to say good bye to hostages.

  8. Lampligher

Nancela: whoever wrote that article you are angry about is dumber than a box of rocks. No one believes any Marine/sailor/soldier can ever be “too comfortable” in a war zone. Best regards to you and your son.

  9. Ted B

I’ll ask my nephew from 1/6 if he thought the towels at the Ramadan Inn were fluffy enough….

  10. Janica

Nancela, my granma arms wrapped around you to hug your anger back to pride and support, mum. We all know life ain’t fair and sometimes idiots rule, but sometimes it’s hard not to let it gt to us, stressy day maybe.

And the peace prize has gone to hell in my own estimation. Concession, submission, does NOT provoke peace, it provokes more bullying.

So, there is an Al Quida connection to Hamas. That I did not know. Well, then what are we waiting for? Gaza should be next on the target list of the day.

I don’t know any Marine comming back from Iraq that had a “dick” job in Iraq. Everybody sucks it up and continues to “ruck up”. But anyone who thinks that Marines have it “soft” is smoking something. (Embassy personnel not included in this rant).

And I’m with Steve in NC…I wish Jimmy Carter would just fucking die already. Since he loves those terrorist fucks so much, maybe Peanuthead could then join Muhammed and his shoeshine boy M. Atta in the firey lake, and maybe engage in some demon sex with those 70 virgins of his?

  12. RENO

    Nancela,
We have already established that most journalists are iditots. Does anyone remember that pussy journalist wanna be that posted as fatcat and insulted someone’s children on here. After we lit into him/her all we got was “Oh, I’m sorry. Oh, I have alot to learn.” Spineless worms, every single one. They are quick to point out this or that but never offer a solution or do a damn thing about it. I can see how an article like that would chap you ass, but consider the source.

    Jester,
    Keep up the good work.

    Steve in NC,
I cannot stand jimmy either. His bullshit meddeling cost me my one shot at a hot drop zone in ‘94. What exactly is his function beside bitching anyway? He should go make some peanut butter toast and shut the fuck up.

And damn it, I could not wait to get on here this morning and see how many dead tangos we waxed. Guess I will have to be patient. Sorry, I am just excited, I know it takes time.

Strike first, strike hard, no mercy, Sir!

  13. D_Mac

Hey Pat, are you still in Iraq man, I remember a little while back you said you were heading over there.

Also how is the documentary coming, I can’t wait to see it. I know it has been morphing and changing as its come along but I can’t wait to see it.

Anyway stay safe man, and keep the reports coming.

  14. Eric

    Cunningham,
“After a while you have to say good bye to hostages.” So when Marines get captured and are still alive, there comes a point when you just throw in the towel and forget about them? What a jackass comment.

As far as JC goes, he is dead on in his analysis. You cannot purport to be in favor of democracy and then ignore the results and refuse to recognize the winners as was done after Hamas took over the majority in parliament last year. They were forced into taking military action because nobody gave them the time of day, netiher Fatah or the West/Israel. You don’t have to like them, but you really can’t blame them for feeling pissed on and getting pissed off.

  15. John Cunningham

Erica, one day we ran out of ammunition and had to pull back. The Marines had chased them out of Danang and it was our job to block their retreat. We regrouped about 100 yards away behind a tree row Doing headcount we discovered six of us were missing. We also had 26 wounded so we were down to about 60 of us left. Another guy and I returned to the line to see if there was anything we could do. He went to the three on the right and I went to the three on the left. Well, I got to the FO and his RTO and they were dead and then I got to the third and he was dead also. Thank God Drill Sergeant Hunter during basic at Fort Bragg in ‘67 really emphasized the low crawl. I never made myself so flat in my life. See I didn’t bother bringing my rifle because I was out of ammunition anyway and if I would have been able to help someone it would have just gotten in the way. Neither of us felt it served any useful purpose each doing three trips each to bring the bodies back to where everyone else was so we had to leave them and try our best to get back to where everyone else was. We got back and everyone that wasn’t hit was taking care of those that had been hit and getting ready to get resupplied with ammunition and medevac the wounded. So we got it together but had to try to go back in but from the back side of the village. Shit, now we have to walk all the way around to the other side. So, we got ourselves all ready on the otherside but for some reason they held us up. They wanted to do a lot of artillery prep. Good, prep away. Then they had us hold up and wait until the morning. So that’s what we did. We were in a better position to collect the dead guys after we got back to where we were the previous day. A couple of weeks later they pinned a Bronze Star w/valor device on James and I. With what we had to work with we really couldn’t have done it any differently. All these things have to be dealt with on an individual basis. There’s an ideal way but then can it be done with what you have available. You’d have had to have been there.

  16. TJ

” They were forced into taking military action because nobody gave them the time of day, netiher Fatah or the West/Israel. You don’t have to like them, but you really can’t blame them for feeling pissed on and getting pissed off.”

    Eric,

They are supposed to be a political party like fatah. They rely on the welfare of other nations to pay salaries, since their “country” doesnt produce anything besides death and chaos. They have chosen never to recognize israel and continue to commit terrorrism within its borders. Because the militant mindset possesed a majority of voters to vote for these bastards, does that mean the welfare suppliers are required to give them money when we know they will use it for weapons etc.?

do you advise the democrats in the US to go to wart in the US because Bush keeps vetoing their bills? hamas and the rest of these idiots are trying to make a case for statehood. they have gaza to themselves and a chance to prove what they can do and they resolve the impasse , not by giving into the demands of those who fund them , but by by militant strongarming their political opponents. this doesnt make anyone think, and now even many arabs, that the palestinians are capable or deserving of their own country.

Welfare is not a right , it is a privelege. Hamas can blame itself for its woes. they have had numerous opportunitites to reconcile with israel. they choose not to. they suffer the consequences.

  17. LIBTARD

Please, you can’t rationalize with a flaming idiot like Eric. He can’t distinguish between soldiers captured on a battlefield and civilians placing themselves in harm’s way. He can’t distinguish between soldiers and enemy combatants. Then, to credit Carter with his brilliant analysis–what a cretin. Carter is a mouthpiece for the enemies of America. USA recognized victory of Hamas–we told them to go $%#@ themselves as we don’t recognize terrorist governments. Is that simple enough for you? A bronze star winner told you to eat %$#@ and I second that.
