But…everyone does love giving a second chance — as long as it’s real. If Paris will make an enduring change and maybe donate some of her time to a good cause I think even Paris can redeem herself in the public eye. She is intrinsically worth more than the way people are treating her and the way she treats herself. But, anyone can change if they really want to. And for Paris, the choice should be clear. I think she’ll even like herself better. I know I sure will.

Everybody gets to times in their lives when they’re cornered and faced with the realization that they have to decide am I going to continue being an asshole or am I going to stop being an asshole. Some of us more than once. Maybe she’ll team up with Gates and start putting all that wealth to some good use. Certainly not expecting a 180 but maybe she’ll cut the partying down to two nights a week on weekends because her volunteer work in the cancer research program at the local children’s hospital takes up all her time during the week. Or maybe not. We’ll see.
