Ron Paul, Assclown
Everytime I’m told about how popular this guy is on the internet, I lose respect for internet users.
Politico:
Ron Paul Warns Of Staged Terror Attack
Republican presidential candidate, Rep. Ron Paul, said the country is in “great danger” of the U.S. government staging a terrorist attack or a Gulf of Tonkin style provocation, as the war in Iraq continues to deteriorate.
The Texas congressman offered no specifics nor mentioned President Bush by name, but he clearly insinuated that the administration would not be above staging an incident to revive flagging support.
“We’re in danger in many ways,” Paul said on the Alex Jones radio show. “The attack on our civil liberties here at home, the foreign policy that’s in shambles and our obligations overseas and commitment which endangers our troops and our national defense.”
Paul was asked to respond to comments by anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan that the U.S. is in danger of a staged terror attack or a provocation of an enemy similar to the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964 before the Vietnam War.
During the radio interview, Paul said the government was conducting “an orchestrated effort to blame the Iranians for everything that has gone wrong in Iraq.”
The comments come as several prominent terrorism experts have warned the U.S. is facing an increased risk of attack this summer. Earlier this week, in an interview with the Chicago Tribune, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said he had a “gut feeling” the U.S. would be attacked again.
The remark angered some Democrats, who criticized Chertoff for being too vague. And some pundits seized on his remarks, saying the vague warnings were meant only to revive flagging support for the war in Iraq and Bush’s larger war against terrorism.
Good name for him Pat…assclown….This guy is a putz from the word “go”.
July 14th, 2007 at 4:19 amIs Ron Paul one of those doctors that askes his patients to say AHHHHHHHHHLAH…when he examines them? Just wondering?
July 14th, 2007 at 4:20 amIt’s quite embarrassing to admit that I once lived in his district. To call him an assclown is damaging to Donkeys and Clowns worldwide. I’ll go with fucktard.
July 14th, 2007 at 5:05 amHe really needs to stop going over to Rosie’s for dinner.
These 9/11 “truther-types” are EXACTLY like the Global Warming Cultists. Both groups have hijacked the subject/issue and can now attribute ANY fucking thing that happens to just easily fall into their line of reasoning or as evidence of proof of their claims. The GWC has declared a consensus (and anyone NOT agreeing with their side should be treated as heretics or treasonous) and the 9/11 dingbats have concluded the whole Islamic terrorist threat is a fairytale … that there are NO Islamic terrorists … Instead, it’s our oil company driven government with Dick Cheney in a Darth Vadar costume orchestrating and carrying out the dirty deeds and pinning them on those poor, hapless, innocent Muslims who just want to read and obey their holy book. Oh, and Bush … well, you know he’s the one slapping around the poor Muslims before strapping bombs onto them or shoving them into bomb filled cars …
How the fuck is this Ron Paul even considered a damn Republican candidate? The fucker is our version of Dennis Kucinich!
July 14th, 2007 at 5:05 amHow the hell is this guy a Republican? he is a no balls liar who is completely out of his mind or off his medication, sounds just like a liberal to me, who agrees? i mean come on, this guy does have support on the internet and thats the scariest part
July 14th, 2007 at 6:31 amPsycho, psycho, psycho.
July 14th, 2007 at 6:31 amThis guy is a magnet for every moonbat in the US. Thank GOD that they are in a distinct minority. If you know who nevernwo is on Live Leak, this asshat and his band of mind-twisted followers think that Ron Paul “IS” God. That tells me all I’ll ever need to know about Ron Paul because that group is totally FUBAR’d. All of them (including Ron Paul) were delivered at birth while their mother’s stood upright over a hard surface…
July 14th, 2007 at 6:58 amHey guys, I’m crazy and I like Ron Paul. So don’t believe anything I say, but I just posted this at another blog and its food for thought. Cheers.
The problem you guys have is that Ron Paul doesn’t shy away from the taboo issues.
You want a guy thats opposed to the war in Iraq.. but you don’t want somebody that points out that Iraq is an occupation with permanent bases being built that rival the size of the Vatican.
You want somebody who is fiscally conservative.. but you don’t want a candidate who questions monetary policy (fiat currency and the federal reserve.)
You want a candidate who is tough on illegal immigration and pro-american sovereignty .. but you don’t want somebody who is well researched on NAFTA, CAFTA, FTAA, the Security and Prosperity Partnership, the Council on Foreign Relations, the North American Union, etc.
What’s more is that you take offense to Ron Paul saying we are in danger of a staged attack.. but if I point out to you that the Bush administration is dominated by PNAC members who in 2000 wrote about the need for a “new Pearl Harbor” in order to spread American hegemony across the world.. than you will find some way to dismiss it.
Or maybe you’ll say Ron Paul is crazy for responding to questions about the “New World Order”.. when Gordon Brown the new Prime Minister of the UK basically tells his country that the “New World Order” is already here in his inauguration speech — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uv5cqh26CC
Or maybe Ron Paul is crazy for suggesting that American foreign policy incited hatred against the United States and caused 9/11.. when the only other explanation given is that “they attack us because we’re free.” Never mind our continuous meddling in their lives for the past 50-60 years..
Our media and government has done us the greatest disservice in the post 9-11 era. We’ve been fed outright lies, disinformation, and called insane for our dissent. Its time that these real issues our brought out into the public one way or another.
July 14th, 2007 at 7:39 amYou know as a veteran it is disheartening to think that I swore to support and defend the Constitution of our great nation so that the village idiot and loony to yell and scream this drivel.
I love our country, but FDR would have had clowns like Ronnie in a rubber room for the duration. He is dangerous not in the sense that he is so paranoid that he believes we demolished the buildings I used to live within a mile of as a provocation to attack Osama, but now we are misrepresenting the threat level so that we can blame Iran and engage them militarily, and dismisses the real threat to the American population at home.
This is really irresponsible on his part, but heh, Bush, Darth Cheney Evil Yadda, Yadda I’ve heard it all before. This level of ignorance from an elected official is going to lead to less vigilance and more fatalities in the civilian population. Thanks Ronnie, you ninny!
July 14th, 2007 at 8:28 amYa gotta be shitting me, and this guy has the audacity to label himself a Republican?! This S.O.B. is worse than Lincoln Chafee ever was.
July 14th, 2007 at 8:31 amAny dumbass that supports Ron Paul is not worth the shitpaper that he/she wipes himself with. Here’s a piece of advice for Ron Paul supporters:
1. Reach into your rectum with both hands and in a rapid twisting motion, pull your fucking head out of your asshole.
2. Get a checkup from the neckup. You are a fucking whackjob from the land of stupid.
3. Go fuck yourself.
July 14th, 2007 at 8:45 amI’m a proud Ron Paul supporter. Ron Paul has NEVER blamed the U.S. for 9/11. That is a complete LIE.
Ron Paul is the absolute best candidate for President. Don’t believe what others (including myself) tell you about Ron Paul. Check it out for yourself.
A screen shot from CNN with words put up by a CNN producer proves absolutely nothing. Ron Paul does not “blame the U.S.” for 9/11.
Why don’t you grow a pair and act like a man, taking on those you disagree with by being honest.
July 14th, 2007 at 10:26 amMike, chill. There are two large military bases that may be being built way out, over the horizon in the southwestern desert in Iraq. If I have my facts right, one Air Force base and one Marine base are going to replace the military bases in Saudi Arabia. Their desert has a lot of places where moe took a dump and they’re considered holy sites. So we’re out of there so as not to defile those holy shits, I mean sites. Now, if you’re referring to the fourteen military bases in Iraq that are being worked on they are preexisting military bases that the Iraqi military were occupying and when they’re rebuilt that’s where the Iraqi military will be billeted. That’s all. Now, I’m going out to find that Republican bar so I can’t take the time to respond point by point to the rest of your comment, not that I really want to.
July 14th, 2007 at 10:31 amEvery single one of your posts is just a character attack you guys.
July 14th, 2007 at 10:45 am“Every single one of your posts is just a character attack you guys.”
Well, Mike, that’s because his points are so stupid they’re not worth arguing. But if you’d like to defend them, have at it.
July 14th, 2007 at 10:56 ammike, a couple things. 9/11 really happened and it really was suicidal muslims who hijacked four planes and flew two into the world trade center and one into the pentagon. popular mechanics has a book out that details the twin towers attack, explaining how a 747 might bring down an office tower; just in case it is too difficult for your brain to fathom the mechanics of a huge jetliner plowing into a building and being able to bring it down. we have phone recordings of passengers who called their families to explain what was happening. we also have osama bin laden’s and ayman al-zawahri’s own speeches on record, not to mention khalid sheik mohammed’s own confession of being the logisitical chief of the operation. also, if we could’ve packed the twin towers with controlled detonation explosives(which means they wouldve had to have been placed on many of the 100+ floors) without anyone finding out how come we werent able to plant weapons of mass destruction in iraq without anyone finding out? the masonic new world order conspiracy is old and outdated, relying on the imagination of its believers to continue its survival and propagation, and has as much legitimacy as putin’s claims of russian democratization. a “new world order” does exist, however, and it used to be known as the great monolith, i.e. russia and china. russia and china are both super powers (meaning they can influence global affairs and if they wanted to touch most of the earth with their militaries), and both have thousands of nuclear warheads with their own interests to look after, which are most of the time contradictory to our own. the idea that the united states is poised to conquer the world is fantastical. we may have the best economy and military in the world, but you cant forget that we are just one country, with very distinct economic and military limitations, as well as being seperated from the rest of the world by two very large oceans. both russia and china have very large modern militaries, full coffers, and are only seperated from the rest of the world by the tread on their tanks. if you think they have less influence in the region than we do, then you need to reevaluate your process of analysis. also explain our “meddling”, i know what youre referring to, but i just want you to elaborate.
July 14th, 2007 at 12:13 pmTo Jon Courage,
Jon its admirable and compassionate of you to
take a moonbat under you wing and try to educate him.
You must remember that for moonbats, facts never matter.
Only their misguided “Good Intentions” do.
There is a really good reason the sign at the zoo says,
“DON’T FEED THE MONKEYS”.
Well,
July 14th, 2007 at 12:50 pm“DON’T TALK TO THE LIBERALS”.
They will throw feces at you.
just one quick thing here:
Where did mike say it wasn’t crazy suicidal muslims that did it? It seems to me that you guys aren’t even reading the shit anyone else is saying. You just got into flame mode and aren’t even reading anymore. You can say we’re shit heads and moon bats, but actually try forming a response related to what you take issue with.
July 14th, 2007 at 3:26 pmPOD1, good one.
July 14th, 2007 at 3:27 pmI heard a great talk today. A guy asked, If we’re conservatives, what exactly are we conserving?
He suggested it ought to be our Constitution, and our Republic.
Something to think about. This Ron Paul guy is not as crazy as you seem to make out, I mean you can’t deny that the Gulf of tonkin incident prior to Vietnam was fake/wrong/a non-event.
It’s high time we realized our party’s been hijacked by a bunch of guys who got kicked out of the Democratic Party (”liberals,” as in bomb them liberally).
July 14th, 2007 at 3:52 pmTo All Ron Paul Supporters:
Frankly, I don’t freaking care what you think. As to balls, I got plenty. More than Mr Paul does. And at least my brain hasn’t been affected by that dumbass form of dementia that Ron Paul’s got.
You don’t like character assasinations? Well that’s just tough. If you’re going to support an asshat, expect to be treated like one.
Lastly, see my earlier post. Specifically, point #3.
Out
July 14th, 2007 at 3:58 pmBeen coming to this site forever, but never really felt the need to say anything until now. The saddest thing about all this is that he probly would be the best person for the job. have any of you actually read his voting record? His personal beliefs? I dont agree with everything he says, nor should anyone agree totally with any politician. But would you rather have this Hillary or a ‘Moonbat’. The guy actually has a lot of good ideas. That being said he still isnt MY ideal candidate, but I highly doubt that type of candidate exists. Just remember when we fight amongsr ourselves the enemy only laughs.
July 14th, 2007 at 7:47 pmWhat do y’all spose ole Ron is gonna do with all that disgruntal dough he’s collecting from the young minds full of mush?
July 14th, 2007 at 8:04 pmOh yeah Ron’s been as crazy as a shithouse rat for the 30+ years I’ve known him but he can collect the pics of dead Presidents.
Amen, Dan!
All of you Ron Paul supporters ought to stop drinking the Kool-Aid. He is as incapable of providing for the security of this nation as the Democrats are.
Sure, he’s got some libertarian views, but his isolationism in today’s world will do nothing but hasten the destruction of this nation. If we stick our heads in the sand, that doesn’t make our enemies just run away!
And if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
July 14th, 2007 at 8:08 pmI thought inflammatory remarks were taboo on this site.
We shouldn’t be building any bases in the middle east, and we shouldn’t be patrolling any borders except our own.
July 14th, 2007 at 10:21 pmso…just going out on a limb here…but what exactly do you guys not like about ron paul? I see alot of character assasinations and “FUCK HIM LIBERAL MOONBAT”, bu none of it’s substantiated. You don’t give any reasons, you just yell about it. Perhaps, rather than being sheeple yourselves, you should actually try to find out some things about Paul beyond some stupid youtube video’s or a CNN screenshot so you can form a areal opinion, or at least try and give a real reason for your remarks. Pardon me saying, but some of you sound like crazy fucking moonbats yourselves.
July 15th, 2007 at 3:06 amand by the way, Dr. Paul is what you call a Libertarian. He was a memeber of the party, but couldn’t get enough coverage there.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarian
Educate yourself, most Libertarian ideas are hardly liberal.
Dr. Paul is a Right Libertarian, by the way.
July 15th, 2007 at 3:10 amJon Courage:
“popular mechanics has a book out that details the twin towers attack, explaining how a 747 might bring down an office tower; just in case it is too difficult for your brain to fathom the mechanics of a huge jetliner plowing into a building and being able to bring it down.”
Perhaps you misunderstood CNN’s misleading headline. They were referring to Rep. Paul mentioning the “blowback” theory in a debate. This is the theory that our interventionist foreign policy has unintended consequences. Propping up the Shah leads to embassy hostages. Funding Al Qaeda in their fight against the Soviets coming back later to bite us in the @ss. Bombings and Sanctions in Iraq leading to anger against us in the Muslim world.
Those posting here may disagree with Paul about his assessment (and the CIA’s assessment, and the 9-11 commission’s assessment). But does simply trying to look for cause and effect in world events make one a “fucktard” or an “assclown”?
What other explanation is there for Al Qaeda’s recruiting success? That they hate us cuz were free? They hate our freedoms? Ron Paul is not a member of the CFR or the trilateral commission. Most of the other candidates are. Is that why he’s a “fucktard”? If you wouldn’t die or send your children to die to make Sunni’s and Shi’ites hold hands and love each other, does that make you an (spit) isolationist??? Heaven forbid. If leaving the Chinese, Russians, French, Arabs, and former Yugoslavians to work out their own damn problems while we defend our own borders makes Ron Paul an isolationist, then I’m proud to be one too.
July 15th, 2007 at 8:47 amBe respectful of others and their opinions. Inflammatory remarks…will be deleted.
Yeah, right.
July 15th, 2007 at 11:04 amGo ahead and delete my comment. It’s quite obvious everyone here has not bothered to do their research.
From Ron Paul’s website 2008:
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/about/
“Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.”
——————–
Even more substantial are his number of speeches to the congress, which have all been completely ignored by the press, do you dare to see/read his speeches?

July 15th, 2007 at 11:38 amYou’re wrong. America is surrounded by borders that most nations would kill for. Oceans to our East and West, a peaceful, prosperous nation to the North and a dysfunctional state that we can kick around to the South. There is simply no way for our Islamic enemies to get here without our permission.
The reason they get here is because many of you Republicans won’t stand up and boldly question why we are allowing Muslims to come here en masse. You’re afraid of being called racists and such. Many of you genuinely believe all of that multicultural bullshit that liberals believe as well, that we cannot discriminate against individuals because they belong to the wrong group (like desert death cults).
July 15th, 2007 at 11:51 amTo: Dan,
July 15th, 2007 at 11:56 amYour quote:
“As to balls, I got plenty. More than Mr Paul does.”
This about sums it up pretty well, for Dan and all the other similar opinions above.
It’s the little head thinking and talking here… because apparently that’s where you live. Talking like a belligerent 6-year-old, trying to prove himself at the playground. Still hasn’t grown up yet. All he knows is arrogance and bravado. Little children with immature minds in adult bodies. Creative use of vocabulary is limited to little boy toilet talk.
This highlights the inherent downside of ‘democracy’ - these kinds of people ALSO each have 1 vote. Since little-children-in-adult-bodies outnumber real adults in the USA, all we can ever have are morons in public office, cheered on by toilet-talking children.
I know that I for one would rather have a member of skull and bones as president instead of someone who holds up the constitution up as the framework of our government. John Kerry was skull and bones to as I recall, he clearly would be a more acceptable president as well.
One of the things that I would like people to realize is that the founders made currency gold and silver for a reason. It would hinder the government from spending real money that they do not have by preventing them from merely printing fresh paper money. The other is to prevent foreign adventurism that has been the way of this country for the last 100 years or so dating back to at least the Spanish American war.
Last point. Gulf of Tonkin, USS Maine, Lusitania, Invasion of Kuwait, Pearl Harbor(?), 9/11(?). All of these events have had the effect of bringing us into war. The political pressure to go to war existed prior to all of these events. These were the trigger points that galvanized political will to actually make it happen. Were all of these surprises? Probably not. I know FOR A FACT that we sailed a carrier group past the “line of death” that Libya declared to provoke an attack in the 80s. They attacked, we then sent F111s to bomb his house. This probably was a very good since Libya stopped openly sponsoring terrorist after that. BUT, it was not the official story.
July 15th, 2007 at 12:18 pmAmen, man.
July 15th, 2007 at 3:45 pmFrom afar, I have seen the ron paul site and read some of what he said. This guy seems OK to me, he has a good voting record, and as a medical practitioner he delivers babies. This is one of the most dangerous medical jobs due to the parents litigating for every reason(usually none).
July 15th, 2007 at 8:19 pmHe dosnt keep all the gratuaties from DC and to top it all off hes a Texan.Thats good enough for me.
I dont think hes a asshat, its just that some here have decied to shoot first.
Before you all decide that the notion our government could stage a terrorist attack, get on your computers and research Operation Northwoods and Operation Bingo. Both were plans from the early 1960’s for our government to create terrorist attacks on U.S. soil or against U.S. foreign interests and then blame the attacks on Castro’s Cuba to drum up support for a forceful overthrow of Cuba.
This isn’t some conspiracy theory! There are declassified documents to prove it! This is what your government is capable of!
July 16th, 2007 at 5:16 amAs even Dr. Paul’s non-supporters at National Review are honest enough to admit, Ron Paul NEVER said we’re in danger of a staged terror attack. http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=OGI1ODI1YjlhYTUzOTM4MmJlOWJlZjVjYTE1MDZjY2U=
July 16th, 2007 at 7:36 amDad:
Awhhhh? Do I offend? Anyone that subscribes to Ron Paul’s theories on 9-11, is daft, stupid, or sick.
I don’t mind arrogant, elistist feed back from trolls like yourself.
Face it bud, you’re a moron. Keep talking shit though. I could use another laughable comment like yours.
July 16th, 2007 at 8:00 amWell, from the way people are talking and your unsubstantiated complaints, you sound like more of a moron to me
