When Cowards Talk…
…you get communications like this cartoon. Not only has Ted Rall never displayed any notable courage in his life ( as the members of the U.S. military do on a daily basis )Ted has never served his country, never done the hard work to earn and preserve the blessings and freedoms he enjoys. The vernacular labels such a person a leech. Trust me, it’s not just politics that has his goat, but what you might call “man issues”. He belittles stronger and better men out of jealousy. It’s pretty common on the Left. Unable and too fearful to deal with the realm of physical confrontation, they absurdly argue that the world is a place in which common masculine virtues are unnecesary. Unable and unwilling to accept principles such as duty, honor and country, they also absurdly argue that the world is a place in which these virtues are also unneccesary. The thing is, Ted is not saying anything Leftists don’t all firmly think and believe in. But by definition, cowards will hide such thoughts for fear of being challenged. Good job, Ted, for this morning’s reminder of what Left America is all about.
It’s funny how a pansy like this calls himself the “hardest hitting” cartoonist, as if the mere metaphorical application of masculinity to himself meant he actually possesed it; as if he actually were “hard” and “tough”. Pretty funny. It’s the same with Leftists’ concepts of war - they are only interested in metaphorical ones in which celebrities lead the battle in designer garb on TV commercials. The latest “war” being on holes in the sky. Ted would like you to believe that smearing ink makes him hard. No Ted, you’re still just a little bitch.
I have a challenge for you, Ted: Go to Iraq and explain your cartoon directly to your betters, to those braver than you’ll ever be, and to those of a gender you clearly never have been, or ever will be. Go in fact, and make all your cases about Iraq.
Anyone who whips his ass will be a hero. I’d be glad to post the video.
Ted’s disgraceful tantrum

Good thing for him that the revolution isn’t on. Otherwise he’d be hanging from a tree by now. After spending time on a red ant hill.
July 14th, 2007 at 6:36 amOh and PS, I hope I never run into this ass-wipe in a bar.
July 14th, 2007 at 6:37 amNot for his sake, but for my own. I wouldn’t be able to contain myself.
God bless you, Pat! You did good NOT posting the actual cartoon on this sacred area.
I think the character Ripley says it best in the movie ALIENS.
The heroine Ripley says to the corporate company hack after he tried to sabotage Ripley and the Marines she was allied with against the alien beasts:
“You know Burke, I don’t know which species is worse. You don’t see them fucking each other over for a g*ddamn percentage! …”
Yeah, fits perfectly with Ted Rall.
Come to think of it, it fits for the dems and RINOs in Congress, and the LMSM in this country.
May they all burn in Hell.
July 14th, 2007 at 6:38 amFuck Ted Rall

This is an every day occurrence. No one cares. People actual sympathize with this kind of cartoon. I see it every day. In school, at work and during every job interview I’ve attended. I’ve even had people suggest I remove my military background from my resume.
July 14th, 2007 at 7:12 ampatriot -
HOT DAMN! That’s beautiful!
July 14th, 2007 at 7:20 amSGTWLESH:
Keep your military experience on your resume. Anyone that doesn’t like it, isn’t worthy enough to have you as an employee. I keep my military experience on my resume and broadcast it to prospective employers in a loud and proud fashion. And any employer that doesn’t like that can basically kiss my 11charlie ass.
Hooah?
July 14th, 2007 at 7:32 am[…] found this at Pat Dollard’s site […]
July 14th, 2007 at 7:36 amThis is the same ass-wipe who called Condi a house nigger.
He is another American on the payroll of Bin Laden.
July 14th, 2007 at 7:41 amI will bring the rope… somebody find a tree
July 14th, 2007 at 7:47 amSomeone should remind him that the very people he reviles in this cartoon are giving their all so he can exercise his right to call this trash ‘cartoon commentary’…..
July 14th, 2007 at 7:48 amSGTWLESH don’t you DARE take your military experience off your resume. I’m with Dan on this. Any prospective employer that has a problem with your service is not worthy of your hire. The right employer will come along, you hang in there (assuming you are looking for a job).
July 14th, 2007 at 7:59 amHoolgan, rope ? tree? how about we just tie him up on a fire ant hill?
July 14th, 2007 at 8:11 amHow do you E-mail this turd, so we can give him some shit?
July 14th, 2007 at 8:20 amDoug Regan brings up a good point. Perhaps the coward Rall should have watched the movie “Glory”. There is a line in the movie where Morgan Freeman slaps Denzel Washington and says to him: “Who you calling a nigger…Those boys are dying by the thousands. I know ’cause I dug the graves. And I keep asking myself when O lord are we going to get’s our turn to ante-up…. Ante-up like men…..The only nigger in here is you fool. “
July 14th, 2007 at 8:24 am…But we’re the bad guys for wishing an inoperable tumor on the base of his spine? Sometimes the world is backwords. I believe that things usually turn out as they should. I think he’ll get what’s coming to him one day, probably violently, hopefully brutally, and if we’re lucky, with a few deviant sexual acts thrown in.
July 14th, 2007 at 8:40 amIf he leaves the Green Zone that is the Northeast Corridor, he’ll find trouble. Why is it that almost all the Ivy Leaguers turn out to be total fuck-ups? Are they so intellectually weak that they take the word of their professors to a ‘T’? Of course we know the answer to that.
July 14th, 2007 at 8:51 amLesser “man” alright.
You gotta pick your battles and if you were to do anything to this creep it would be touted as “a chilling of free speech” and the NY times would make a “shaheed” out of him solidifying his pro-Qaeda credentials for Osama to see and that’s what this clown wants.
He hides behind the banner of free speech provided to him by those he despises. He did the same thing over Pat Tillman’s death and he is doing it again.
He’s a punk and deserves a beating, but I just put it this way, if he was on fire in front of me and I needed to piss I would ask him where the bathroom was. He isn’t worth my bodily waste.
Just roll with it his day will come, and men don’t have time for the tantrums of petulant children.
July 14th, 2007 at 8:59 amCpl,
On his spine? How about where his dick should be?
July 14th, 2007 at 9:06 amYep. I was accepted at Columbia but chose a Southern school partly because of the elitism I encountered.
July 14th, 2007 at 9:07 amIs there any balance? Is there a cartoonist out there that would depict craphead Rall in the progression of his liberal beliefs? One that shows his diss of military and the result of his liberal anti-war, anti-patriot, anti-freedom crap? To show this jerk in a cartoon laying down prayer mats for AQ in middle America? …show him weeping as his wife (assuming he has one) gets tortured for not following Sharia law. ????
To Sgt Welsh
Its good to know I am not alone. I’ve know stuff like you’ve experience ….but about hiding my conserve views. I have done so only to watch leftist views become stronger. No more. I too am interviewing and can smell a leftist from a distance. I no longer try to play someone I am not. When I interview, they see a principled results orinented individual. A leftist interviewer immediately feels threatened.
Importantly though, I will tell you that I switched from a command/control style of management to an empowerment-of-all approach. I am proud of that adaptation because it is far more successful in getting results in this increasingly liberal-leaning environment. The amazing thing - empowering liberals makes them complain rather than achieve! so….. If I want to achieve then I need to be with achievers - not leftist leberals. I will be happier in an organization that is lead by right-leaning management.
I am out of work mostly because of comprehensive upper management changes going from right-leaning to leaf-leaning. Thankfully, I could not convince myself to put on the liberal face at work. It is not who I am.
July 14th, 2007 at 9:12 amThis country is in for some shit. Half the country looks at that cartoon and says yeah, not just yeah but, Hell Yeah! The other half looks at it as the vial and revolving piece of crap that it is.
July 14th, 2007 at 9:16 amMy God this filled up fast. I live in a heavy democrat suburb of Philadelphia. For thirty years I’ve experienced numerous jaw dropping snide remarks. I hate to say even from a couple of family members. Living up in Buffalo, not so much. Though some 19 year old called me a dreg of society. I was living in a part of town where there were a lot of University of Buffalo students. I was almost old enough to be his father so I figured he must have learned that from his father that happened to be a doctor back on Long Island. Now, this will show their true colors. I’m not complaining, but, I’m not exactly a physically imposing person and coupled with the neck problem it kind of shows that I’m not on top of my game. Pray to God you have your health so that they will not say what they want for fear of getting their teeth knocked down their throat. I’m not going to stay in, there are too many very nice people out there, but, you’re always on guard so that if it comes along you don’t react. I don’t flaunt my military career, but it does come up in conversation over time and you begin to notice a change in the behavior of some. I know I’m not imagining it, the hatred is out there. Maybe I will start flaunting it. I know, I’ll get a t-shirt made that says ‘botched kerry joke’. But, than I’d have to go out with my pepper spray. I’m not beholding to anyone, well taken care of by the VA. Anyone know of a Republican bar in the western suburbs of Philadelphia? Fuck ‘em, just fuck ‘em. There I’m all better now, I’m gettin’ off the pity pot.

Just wondering, might someone have done it for FREE for him?
July 14th, 2007 at 9:28 ammay the fleas of 1000 camels infect his anus…may he get thrown in a drunk tank and passed around like the punk bitch he is. Anyone publishing his crap? I’d like to opine to the editor.
July 14th, 2007 at 9:39 amUh well, if Ted wants to tell me that and have me believe him, he can get his happy ass on a plane and fly to Ramadi and tell me to my face. Fuck that pig.
July 14th, 2007 at 9:42 amhttp://www.rall.com/email.htm
there’s the asshole’s webpage…only one problem..he’ll tell the feds if you threaten to kill him. pussy.
July 14th, 2007 at 9:42 amOff his website. Just so you know what leftist smut-peddlers are printing his ”rants”. this shit beyond pisses me off. Sorry for all the posts on this one, Pat. you struck a nerve when you pointed out this oxygen-theiving douchebag.
His cartoons now appear in more than 140 publications, including the Philadelphia Daily News, Aspen Times, Hartford Advocate, Newark Star-Ledger, Los Angeles Times, Wilmington News-Journal, San Diego Reader, Village Voice, Harrisburg (PA) Patriot-News, Las Vegas Review Journal, Washington City Paper, Tucson Weekly, Sacramento News & Review, San Jose Mercury-News, Lexington Herald-Leader and New York Times.
July 14th, 2007 at 9:59 amThis is one sorry sob. I pity the fool, all the bad “karma” coming his way…
July 14th, 2007 at 10:05 amI had the pleasure of visting the Charles Schultz mesuem while visiting Napa Valley several years and wanted to commemerate the visit with a coffee table book on the history of “Peanuts.” I was on my way to the cashg register and suddenly noted the foreward was penned by none other than this parasitic piece of shit, Ted Rall, of all people. (That’s California for you.)
July 14th, 2007 at 10:16 amI left the book on the counter and threw away my donation card. (I had planned to donate a coupl,e of hundred bucks to the place.) Guilt by association, and there are few scumbags in our country bigger than this fraud to be associated with. I would never wish cancer on anyone but in Ted Rall’s case I come pretty damn close. He truly embodies the very worst of the Left.
ALSO, per usual, Pat, I love your spot-on analysis of this subhuman solipsistic primate but I’ll do you one better — I’ll gladly contribute a significant chunk of change to the defense fund for the soldier or veteran who gives this piece of shit what he really has coming, and something tells me that defense fund would be deluged with “pennies from heaven!” Not bloody likely any court outside San Fran or NYC would ever convict them, either.
July 14th, 2007 at 10:26 amWhat a stupid lowlife piece of shit Rall is. I can’t wait until the civil war starts in this country so we can give loony assholes like Rall what they deserve for their seditious treachery.
LET’S ROLL !!
July 14th, 2007 at 11:30 amRall’s email address from his site:
He has a whole list of rules on his site if you want to email him. Fuckin’ asshole.
http://www.tedrall.com/email.htm
July 14th, 2007 at 11:42 amwell, for one thing…his artwork sucks, with linework that could be exceeded by any third grader with a dull crayon. I used to be a cartoonist for my college newspaper (loooong time ago) and work part time doing illustrations and computer graphics. I know how much time it takes to create a good illustration….and one that gets the point across CLEARLY. Obviously, rall the worm doesn’t have the pride in his work to do that. His scrawls are the kind of stoner, drugged out “artwork” that you used to find in magazines like High Times and the underground rags……that’s the audience he is trying to reach, one that needs the point put them fast and simply….because they lack the cognitive powers to process anything that is coherent, intelligent, or intricate.
July 14th, 2007 at 12:06 pmOmg what a disrespectful jerk. Someone ought to send him to Iraq, really. Straight into al-Qaeda’s arms.
July 14th, 2007 at 2:15 pmwhere does this piece of fuck live?
July 14th, 2007 at 3:57 pmThe Liberal Left Disease has spread through this country because of the bias of most of the damn media. Political bullshit reins supreme. None of the assholes like this guy, Rall, deserve the freedoms they have - they do not appreciate the sacrifices that were given for their luxuries. Too many Americans are so far removed from reality and they rely way too much on the leftist owned media outlets. They are the ones that have been brainwashed.
I remember watching “the news” on t.v. when it was actual news reporting. There are almost no unbiased news reports left. When I watched the format of the news stations change over the years, I always knew it would head us for trouble. The dumbing down of America has shown its success from types like Rall, politicians, and the Hollywood shit heads that reinforce his ideals. Trying to equate our men and women as terrorist scum bombers who only target the weak and innocent.
I am really p.o.’d.
As for all those here who have shared their comments about their service, it makes me absolutely sick that anyone who has served in our armed forces would ever have to feel like it is ‘a mark against them’ in the society that seems to be prevailing in this media war.
It is people like that that make you feel that way and it is just wrong. None of our service men and women should ever have to feel like that. The rest of America really needs to sit up and take notice of those that are out to demonize our forces like this. They need to hear in a clear voice that their b.s. is propaganda for the enemy. That is all it is and ever will be. The paper stuff like that is printed on is only suitable if used as toilet paper. Those kind of people will be the downfall of our country. Damn them all. They need to go back to school and re-take history. (Not the history taught by dried up old blowhard hippies against America and future jihadists against America.)
man i am sorry … i just hate those type of people and their absolute b.s. ….
A big thank you to ALL our veterans and enlisted men and women who post here and serve all over the world. Anyone who looks down on that service does not deserve to have you for an employee or anything else (like many previously have indicated in their posts here and I agree with them).
Our military and veterans are the ones that will be what keeps this country from collapse.
Sorry for my ranting.
July 14th, 2007 at 4:55 pmI guess someone has to take the minority point of view. I truly do not understand what all the fuss is about. Is is so that your readership can re-affirm their superiority over anyone who writes something in opposition to your view point?
I am serving in the armed forces and I am not really offended by this cartoon. I think its an extreme mis-representation-and way too simple minded. But you knew that when you turned to the page to begin with. Ted Rall writes for a certain type of audience-the same way Pat and Michelle Malkin and all the other right wing cheerleaders write for theirs. Nonetheless his cartoon raises some interesting points-that’s what cartoonists do-they challenge thinking and they have to do it in a short space of time. Thus their points generally have to be bluntly wielded. Why is it I can see that, but you can’t?
Either America is a democracy or its not. If it is then there are going to be points of view that a lot of us won’t like. It is worse when we are in a war that seems as if its never going to end like the war in Iraq. What I read between the lines here in the comments is that if one thinks the war is not the best thing for the country-one has no right to express an opinion.
Be glad there are folks who feel passionately about opposing view points-and take a step back and think about that fact-its the only thing that makes America different in the world.
I’ll sit back and take my beating now.
July 14th, 2007 at 5:32 pmTo mec-I get what you mean, I guess not everyone is emotional. To all vets-you should never be ashamed of serving, it is something to be proud of. I think that discriminating against vets is illegal, and should be looked into. About the cartoon, I do not get why he hates the military, so much. I disagree with bush, but love our troops and respcet them.
July 14th, 2007 at 6:36 pmMEC—Serving in the armed forces? What member of any” Armed Force” doesn’t proudly proclaim;
July 14th, 2007 at 7:40 pm” I’m Army”, “I’m a Marine.” “I’m Navy.” “Coastie.” “Airman.”??? Does your “armed force” dig holes, kill people, get blown TFUp? What?
I am in US Navy and have served there for 29 years. Happy now?
July 14th, 2007 at 8:10 pmMEC, “Why is it I can see that, and you can’t”? Because you’re so much more intelligent than we are. Now, be careful, don’t “step back” too far, you might fall off. But, you’re in the Navy, you already knew that.
July 14th, 2007 at 11:25 pmMEC
Respectfully, when people with their “opinions” try to:
“equate our men and women as terrorist scum bombers who only target the weak and innocent.”
Yes. I take offense to that. It is one thing to have an “opinion” and it is another thing to be sympathetic supporters of the jihadists during a time of war.”
{God knows there are many that oppose the war and they are entitled to that “opinion” which they have exercised very well this entire time. Those same people demonize the people who do see the necessity of this war and we are labeled war mongers, etc. That is hardly the case. These same people will be the ones screaming the loudest when things hit the fan here and then they will want the protection of those they have shown nothing but contempt for.}
However, to me they should not extend their “opinions” which embolden, comfort, and justify the actions of the enemy. That is all that type of stuff does. Until our forces are out of harms way I wish they would just shut up. Their views dominate the media and they do not tell the truth. It is all political.
MEC - I thank you for your service to us.
July 14th, 2007 at 11:37 pmMEC-
your comment:
“Nonetheless his cartoon raises some interesting points”
So what interesting points does this raise???
This was not a cartoon that attacked the policies regarding the war, this was a personal attack on the men and women who joined the armed forces. Defend this shit if you want.
I doubt you will post again, most of you never respond anyway.
But again I ask you, what interesting points were raised by this cartoon?
July 14th, 2007 at 11:39 pmUh yeah. What Steve in NC said.
July 15th, 2007 at 3:09 amYeah what Robert said.
July 15th, 2007 at 4:35 amMEC:
Tell you what, next time you are in a bar sitting next to a group of Marines, why don’t you show them that cartoon
July 15th, 2007 at 4:47 amand try the same sleight of mouth with them? That is if you have a pair?
Well, well, well, seems as if “Be respectful of others and their opinions” does not really apply here does it?
I’m not sure what else you want me to say, but I’ll try again.
First, Rall’s readership probaly went up a 1000 fold because of all the attention. (At least in terms of internet hits). I’m know he did not deserve that level of attention and probably did not get it before today. However he has the attention now. Which was probably what he wanted.
Second, I think if you were to ask Rall he would tell you his intent was quite different than the way the cartoon was recieved. Since he clearly got folks riled up he failed in his ability to get his point across.
Third, I did see the cartoon as an attack on the policies of the war. I don’t have the answer about Iraq-I wish I did. We cannot leave and yet there seems no improvement after 4 years of effort. I do know that every day we spend in Iraq is coming at a cost-in terms of other things the country and its military should be doing, in terms of the equipment we are burning up and not replacing, in terms of the lives of our Soldiers, Sailors, Airman and Marines that are disrupted and their families who have to make way for deploying there over and over and over again. I’m tired of Americans having to defend a bunch of Arabs who don’t seem to appreciate it ( as witness Al Malaki’s latest press conference).
Finally, I drink with plenty of Marines. They seem to have a better ability to discuss various points of view than seem to be present here. Even if they did not agree with mine.
Clearly, coming into this discussion was a mistake, however I stand by my original point-Ted Rall writes for a certain audience. You know that as soon as you turn the page to his cartoon Why be suprised? He is what he is. Its a free country. Write his editor, boycott his advertisers, write your own anti-Ted cartoon. There is room for both in the United States.
I’m sure that’s not an acceptable answer-but I think Thumper’s rule applies here.
July 15th, 2007 at 6:19 am//insert eye-roll//
“Nonetheless his cartoon raises some interesting points”
Care to try again?
July 15th, 2007 at 7:12 amMEC-
“Clearly, coming into this discussion was a mistake”
well, it appears your ego demands we discuss according to your rules, and if you don’t like what was said you ‘take your ball and go home’
regarding your comment-
“Third, I did see the cartoon as an attack on the policies of the war. I don’t have the answer about Iraq-I wish I did.”
Where in this cartoon is the word Iraq mentioned? You could apply the same to Afghanistan.
“I think if you were to ask Rall he would tell you his intent was quite different than the way the cartoon was recieved”
In your defense of him you show support of him.
This was a personal attack on my fellow citizens, the ones who have joined the armed forces for a variety of reasons; and you then you apologize for rall.
I did not make a personal attack on you and you still refused to clearly answer my single question, which was to expand upon your comment,
“Nonetheless his cartoon raises some interesting points”
I do really want to know what those points are.
July 15th, 2007 at 7:22 amMEC, “be respectful”, nope, ain’t gonna’ do it.
July 15th, 2007 at 7:24 amHey MEC, (what the heck’s your rank, anyway? I’ll feel more entertained jabbing a chief with a sharp stick than some poor dumb O-ganger), anyway, MEC, here’s Rall talking about YOU:
AN ARMY OF SCUM
Or, We’re Looking For a Few Good Homosexual Rapists
“The U.S. military is short just one item to achieve moral parity with the Nazis: gas chambers.”
“Abu Ghraib, you can bet your bottom dollar, is merely the tip of the iceberg. Our military is structurally corrupt. Beginning in Afghanistan during the weeks after 9/11, civilian command yielded to the amoral gangster mentality of the arrogant intelligence officers of Army Special Forces”
http://www.visartsmedia.org/sources/rall.html
July 15th, 2007 at 7:45 amSo, MEC, apparently my Marine bretheren and I are suicide bombers. It is one thing to be anti-war, it is one thing to call us murderers and baby-killers, it is a completely different animal to equate us to the radical scum we fight to protect our people against. MEC, if you have any pride in yourself, your Navy, adn your country, you would feel the sting I felt upon viewing these “interesting points.” This wasn’t an attempt to be a provocative expose, or a tongue-in-cheek satire, this was a direct attack on you and me. 29 years in the Navy and you still don’t feel above cowards like this? Your men are seeing this, what are you saying to them, are you explaining that this is acceptable? That the artist presents an “interesting point?” I’m all about free speech, but all speech will bear consequence, this is his. It is noble for you to present an alternative point of view, but to bury your head in the sand and pretend that this is some silly cartoon that doesn’t apply to you is ignorant, ship-mate. I suggest that instead of hiding behind pseudo-diplomatic rhetoric, you should instead condemn this poison. This cartoon isn’t for your entertainment, it has a sinister intent and purpose that you are choosing to ignore.
Semper Fi, and I’ll see you on the beach in Iran,
July 15th, 2007 at 7:58 amCpl. Peddicord, USMC 0321
Listen up everybody, MEC is short for mecca. Boy, are we dumb. We’re just a bunch of botched kerry jokes.
July 15th, 2007 at 8:57 amWhy be polite to an asshole like MEC. Probably is short for Mecca. He sounds like a jihadi turd.
I doubt MEC drinks with Marines. Every Marine that I know wouldn’t tolerate his kind of swabbie.
July 15th, 2007 at 9:35 amThis seriously might be the most disgraceful thing i have ever seen towards our military. calling them stupid, poor, immature. He talks down about religion in the same way. Wow! Where has this country gone when you have traitors like this living among you and cant even do anything about it? sad
July 15th, 2007 at 9:52 amThought I would try to be polite, to actually see if there would be any reasoned response.
Still want to know where rall lives.
July 15th, 2007 at 10:12 amSteve in NC
According to peoplefinders there is a Theodore T Rall in NY NY. A retarded lib in NY? Who’d a thunk?
July 15th, 2007 at 11:31 amIt is easier to criticize than to actually get involved and help.
The left live this concept to the nth degree. All they do is bitch and moan and offer NOTHING in the way of a viable solution.
July 15th, 2007 at 5:23 pmTed Rall Sucks…..You have got to be kidding me, this guy is a talentless hack. He has to resort to printing crap to find work. I AM SO FUCKING TIRED OF STUPID MOTHERFUCKERS COMPARING OUR SOLDIERS AND OUR PRESIDENT TO THE FUCKING NAZIS….GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK, WE ARE NOT SENDING MILLIONS OF PEOPLE TO CONCENTRATION CAMPS. I HOPE I AM ALIVE WHEN THIS COCKSUCKER DIES SO I CAN SHIT ON HIS GRAVE…FUCK YOU TED RALL…FUCK YOU
Sorry about that folks, I have no tolerance for stupidity. Keep up the good work guys and gals. and remember for every Ted “douchbag” Rall there are 50 of us who will support and stand by you. God Bless America
