He campaigned on being pro-military and tough on Illegal Immigration, so to many of the defecting voters, it seemed like a lateral move. But now, it couldn’t be more apparent that it was a mistake. Allen is by far the better man. I think when people vote for war heroes, they make certain assumptions about their politics, and as we’re seeing with guys like Murtha and at times, McCain, that that can be a dangerous proposition.
