A10 or spooky? Love the sound of that gatling gun.

Looked and sounded like 2 cluster bombs to me, but I’ve been out for over 20 years.

Their last meal…..20mm Depleted Uranium shells!!!

One can only hope they are in hell now forced to eat from a BBQ pork buffet for eternity.

With vids like this how can anyone think we aren’t kicking total fucking ass!

    Rock on soldiers! Rock on!

Not to sound stupid, but what happend? I think someone got shot, but it almost looked like fireworks :?:

We don’t have as good a view of the target as the guys on the ground do. The got Binoculars or sniper scopes or something else, that gives them a view of the target that we don’t see. Would have made a great 4th of July advertisement? Just kidding….

Dan, my old CSM agrees wit ya - he thinks it’s a Spectre strike, 40mm.

It is too high for an AH-64. I figured either A-10 or Spooky. Spooky seems the logical choice. Nice low and slow platform. Ideal for this terrain and mission.

    Great minds…..

I think it was one of those cluster things. The A10 always sounded to me like an electric elephant trumpeting. One of the highlights during AT at Fort Drum. Kewell.

John said: “The A10 always sounded to me like an electric elephant trumpeting”.

OK, that’s a good description. To me it was God’s own bass guitar.

But definitely a musical tone to it.
