Musharraf’s “Peace Talks With Taliban” Proceed

Grand Jirga Peace Delegation members to hold talks with Waziristan governor

PESHAWAR: The members of Grand Jirga Monday arrived by helicopters from Miranshah to meet Governor of NWFP in Peshawar.

The Jirga members after talks with local Taliban and tribal elders for maintenance of peace in North Waziristan have reached Peshawar to brief Governor of NWFP, Lt General (retd) Ali Mohammad Jan Orakzai about the progress made thus far in negotiations.

The future line of action will also be prepared in the meeting.
