Eventually, I learned the joys of killing. But I’m skipping ahead of myself. I landed in Iraq in November 2004 armed with a video camera instead of a weapon...

Poignant article. It deffinitely negates the supposed "great ideas" made by the Iraq Study Group. If only more people like Mr. Hanson could get through to America, unfortunately, our psychosis is tainted and astray.

Appeasement and deal making doen't work anymore. Talking to these people is a complete wasre of time and effort. Read the Koran diplomats. If you do, perhaps you'll come to the same realization that Jefferson came to. And that the time for talking is over. Want to impress these people? Then kill them and their leaders.

It is either them or us. Either we kill them or they will kill us. Freedom or slavery? Make your choices...but don't get in the way of my aim. Don't want to hit the wrong target.

My God that sums it up so well. Wow that is a good article. That is why I am running for president as a 3rd party candidate the day I turn 35

Call it like you see it, I have stated that all the body bags coming home should have carter's, Reagan's, Bush41 and clinton's signatures on them. To call out only the appeasement of the d'rats is not genuine, we have allowed this to grow for over two decades.

The action by this administration is an attempt to bring the middle east nations into the world of democracies, ruled by the citizens and not by a cabal or dictatorship. Not to make them 'western' and to become 'America light'. Nations ruled by a representative governance are traditionally peaceful and will work first to find diplomatic solutions to conflicts before resorting to armed conflict.

This current Iraq conflict is part of the attempt to cause a change that is lasting and allows human freedom to grow. Bush has chosen not to just kick the can down the street as his predecessors have done.

In another large problem he gave up the battle to fix Social Security and apparently will just kick that can like the rest of the government is willing to do. I am glad that after this cost of our citizens and to a much lessor degree our treasury, he appears steadfast on this.
