Wednesday Morning Shakedown

A joint U.S.-Iraqi force backed with helicopter gunships clashed with suspected Shiite militiamen when they raided several homes in eastern Baghdad early Wednesday morning, police said. Six people were killed and 10 wounded, they added.
Television News video footage showed the funerals of the six being held at Sadr City, a sprawling Baghdad district and a stronghold of the Mahdi Army, the Shiite militia loyal to radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.
The funeral processions set off from the local al-Sadr offices in Sadr City.
The footage also showed the site where the clashes took place, with several houses and at least one car on a narrow alley damaged, with some walls blackened and air conditioning units burnt. Small pools of blood could be seen on the alley and against the outer walls of the houses.
There was no immediate word on Wednesday’s clashes from the U.S. military, but American and Iraqi troops have over recent months staged dozens of raids targeting Mahdi Army militiamen in Sadr City and other mainly Shiite districts of Baghdad.
The Mahdi Army militia is blamed for much of the sectarian violence in the Iraqi capital as well as attacks on U.S. troops.

The Mahdi militia has been the factor in thousands of sectarian killings, torture, kidnappings and rapes in the big bag over the past years. Time to sort them out. The time has arrived, and not a moment too soon.
Next time there is a funeral from the al-sadr just wait until,they are 100 yards from the entrance and napalm the whole lot of the bastards.Then they can go to heaven to partake with the 72 goats promised.It would certainly shorten the odds. I saw a clip on Hairy Weed the other day attemping to B.S his way through an interview with Mr Potatohead. Dickboy was pulling a “Kerry” you know….running at the mouth until he was able to put a sentence together that sounds good. The clip is of an Aussie sniper unit firing from about 1500 yards. They filmed it themselves. The first kill will stun you.
