TNR: Not Quite All the News that’s Fit to Print

Confederate Yankee excerpt:

In other words, the Army PAO contacted by The New Republic was told by the PAO that the claim could not be verified, and that the burn victim story was regarded as an “urban legend or myth”… and The New Republic ran their story without disclosing this apparent contradiction.

Apparently, The New Republic decided for their readers and critics that they did not need to know that the military considered Beauchamp’s claim an urban legend.

It makes one wonder if any of their other un-credited, unnamed people relayed a similar tale, only to have that news covered-up by the editors of The New Republic.

The New Repubic sounds more like the new same old MSM dirty tricks. Only this time they got nailed. I wonder how many of the staffers at New Repubic are DailyKos kids disguising themselves as adults?

Dan, I think that this story is RATHER like another we heard in 2004. Who IS Dan Rather working for these days?

Speaking of those 2004 days, man this country dodged a bullet there; 2000 as well!

    Jarhead68:

LOL. RATHER indeed. And it also turned out that little Tommy Tentpeg here wrote his RATHER commentary while stuck in Kuwait.

Come on, guys … This is just a “bright” young fella trying to cash in on the same gullible and guilty MSM that gave the Val Plame (non)case legs, and her media pimp husband Joe Wilson fame. He’s just hit a snag … But will be sailing right along shortly when the MSM gets the “all clear” to run him as if he were unchallenged and honest … as they always do these creatures.
