“The (Los Angeles Times) story is wrong” - Statement from Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Peter Pace’s office

There was much speculation today that outgoing Joint Chiefs Chairman General Peter Pace would be calling for a drawdown of troops from Iraq, not due to circumstances in Iraq, but due to wanting a greater emergency reserve for other potential military actions. The Los Angeles Times made the claim this morning. Fox News’ Jennifer Griffin just reported on Shephard Smith’s show that just moments ago, Pace denied he was looking for any drawdown in Iraq, and Fox has just run this story. The LA Times must be crushed.

Good photo. Where the fuck does the LA Slime get their news from anyways….Do they just make up shit and print it…on a slow news day? And Fox has hired so many lib reporters and lawyers anymore that they are sounding more like CNN every day. Fuck em all.

On the grounds that the unusual is newsworthy, wouldn’t it be better to wait until the LAT got something right before reporting?
