    Awesome video!

    Get some!

If anyone’s wondering, that’s, “Kill A Celebrity,” by Ramallah playing in the background. Not exactly a patriotic band by any means. Still a funny tune though.

Good stuff. Some of that clip looks like it came from the Military Channel’s “My War Diary”. They’ve had some great vids on the Marines. Love the way they fight with a “fuck you” attitude towards the enemy. Stand up, aim your weapon and damn the danger. Hoo-rah….Get some Marines…

This is a great video. That is actually my unit between March 2006 and October 2006 while in Fallujah, Iraq. Our battalion had great gains while in control of the city. My company was first located in Saqlawia north west of the city and then moved to the Fallujah Peninsula just to the west. From our FOB (Forward Operating Base) we could see Black Water bridge. Our AO was busy, to the south was almost like an Al Qaeda zone and the enemy was allowed to move freely. After leaving myself and many in Intel was saying that the zone needed to be filled to deny the enemy their own area. The surge did just that and after leaving a battalion moved in to the area and pushed AQI out of the area. The surge has worked in Al Anbar and I’m just happy somebody listened to the Marines on the ground and got it done. I’m proud of the video, it’s my fellow Marines. by the why, Alpha Company 1/25 is a reserve Marine unit out of Maine. The Battalion is out of Fort Devons, MASS
