Breaking: Korean Hostage Deal Done
Both the Taliban and the Korean government have announced that a deal has been done for the release of the 19 remaining hostages. Sources indicate that they finally settled on a dollar amount for the ransom. Seoul’s official spokesman, however, denied anything had been paid. I guess he’ll have us believe the Taliban just suddenly got the Christian spirit. Developing…
Fuck Korea!
August 28th, 2007 at 7:42 amPlaying with crocodiles is a dangerous sport. You can feed them all you want, but eventually, they keep comming back for more. If you fail to provide more…you’ll become the next meal…How do you feel SK about being nothing more than tasty crocodile bait for the Taliban to eat?
No polite bows please…SK…I like Koreans as a whole, but I will only politely bow to a Korean that I respect.
August 28th, 2007 at 9:13 amSaving a few…so that potentially quite a bit more than a few will die as a result of paying monetary ransoms to insects. (South Korea can deny it all it wants; they’re full of shit.)
Yeah. Makes me feel good. Not.
August 28th, 2007 at 9:35 amJust another craven cave-in (a big one) to these savages, who deserve nothing better than phosphorus bombs and Cobra strafings.
August 28th, 2007 at 11:02 amso they just forget about the butchered ones??? and then the next time WHAT??? it is a tough position to be in and am glad that i don’t have to make those type of decisions… but then i do have to get up in the morning and decide which T shirt to put on,,,,
August 28th, 2007 at 3:25 pmwhat does korea get in these negotiations for the two murdered hostages? oh yeah , I guess korea agrees that those murders were legitmate.
the only way to negotiate with these criminals and potentially stop future acts, is to up the ante on them, rather than make concessions or literally bend over. korea should have told these scum that if they didnt release all the hostages , they would send a division of combat troops to afghanistan. they offer to negotiate and still 2 of the hostages are killed and alls they can do is whine and blame the US.
I’m not impressed and annoyed that you are now an official funder of the taliban. The us should now consider pulling troops from korea in correspondance to the korean funding of the taliban.
August 28th, 2007 at 9:23 pmROK must renounce their “deal” with the Taliban and, difficult as it may be, must show some backbone:
