A new al Qaeda propaganda ad, headlined “Wait for the Big Surprise” and featuring a digitally altered photograph of President George Bush and Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf standing in front of a burning White House, was posted on the Internet today.
The brief clip from al Qaeda’s “as Sahab” propaganda arm juxtaposes the doctored photo of Bush and Musharraf along with previously seen images of al Qaeda’s top leadership — Osama bin Laden, Ayman al Zawahri and Adam Gadahn — as well as a photo of an SUV in a motorcade.
There is no additional information provided in the ad, and it closes with the words, “Soon — God willing,” written across the screen and repeated several times.
Following the recent failed London-Glasgow terror plot, U.S. intelligence officials have been paying closer attention to the now frequent propaganda releases from as Sahab, studying the videos for hidden clues or signals.
The full video is expected to be released on the Web in the next 24 to 48 hours.

I hope the big surprise is that they’re getting a haircut, a shave, a shower, and then going out and getting real jobs. But I doubt it.

The Secret Service is pretty damn sharp. I wouldn’t underestimate them if I were AQ. And an attack on Musharaff will certainly convince him to crush these mothers once and for all.
It’d be nice if Musharaff gets so pissed that he finally gets his ISI people together and gives us the location of OBL and the American traitor, so we can give them a proper send off to their false god.
Could be a bluff too. We’ll see. I take what these people say seriously. Bet you Musharaff and the Secret Service do too.
One other point. An attempt on the life of the CIC would be an open act of war. How would Musharaff then escape having American air power attack OBL targets?
This could also be an attempt by OBL to split the alliance between the US and Pakistan and put them in a position to sieze power in Pakistan.

August 1st, 2007 at 9:06 pmPersonally, short of a dirty bomb or nuke I am prepared to do my best no matter what happens. This is when Americans will have to pull together to help eachother. If and when something big does happen - like they are indicating - the world will see how fast the party lines disappear and Americans will be resolute like never before. America will send al-Q & Co to hell one way or another and it will be swift justice.
I believe they have many things planned and are waiting for the oh, so right opportunity. So far they have been stopped. All of America needs to have keen eyes and ears.

These terrorists are lower than anything encountered on earth since Hitler. I will not be afraid. I will only take in what happens day to day and deal with it as time unfolds. No one knows where and when anything will happen in this life.
A couple weekends ago there was a gang shooting up the street from my home at a gas station I go to. On my way home in the middle of last week there was a car accident with a fatality. Deal with what you can wherever you are. Stay alert. Each day brings life and death hazards to us all even without the threat of the grim reapers of the religion of pieces. Our troops face life and death every day and if and when something does happen here I hope to react the way I should to help anyone that may need it.
They are toying with the fear aspect as GBU43 said.
We must remember that prior to 9-11 there were warnings issued as well. I take them at their word that they want to do major damage any cowardly way they can. I also know that our troops and the American people have a will and a spirit to smack them down to hell where they belong no matter what they attempt or temporairily succeed in doing.
I have said many times - I would rather be dead than live to see the day when they get an upper hand.
In the meantime. Everyone is where they need to be and will do their jobs to the best of their abilities.
