The Number of Americans Moving to Canada in 2006 Hit a 30-Year High

From ABC News:

“Those who are coming ( to Canada ) have the highest level of education — these aren’t people who can’t get a job in the states,” he explains. “They’re coming because many of them don’t like the politics… the Iraq War..

Kertes attributes his motivation to President Bush’s opposition to gay marriage, and the tactics employed during the war on terror since 9/11.

“I wanted a country that respected my human rights and the rights of others,” he says. “We joked about it after Bush won re-election, but it took us a while to go through the application.”

I guess none of them ever heard of the:

    North American Union

I guess when Canada and Mexico are part of the USA…they will have to just move to Iran or North Korea.

    Peace!

Give ‘em a one way pass out of the States and never let them back in.

  4. EZRider

I’ll help them pack. In fact, there should be border patrol training to assist in expediting their movement (aka a kick in the ass as they go over the border).

Don’t let the door hit you in the rear on your way out!

A couple of gay guys represent all the people going to Canada? Nice work ABC. Once again a news organization uses copy some nutcase NGO creates.

I do think we need to reevaluate the 14th amendment. In my mind the Constitution was clear that our founding fathers were against those who took the oath of a foreign power and felt they should be stripped of citizenship, but alas the Civil War’s 14th amendment has muddied the waters.

They think the will be safe there. Guess again:

Islam’s House of Islam and House of War

    ——————————————————————————–

The world is divided into the House of Islam and the House of War, the Dar al-Islam and the Dar al-harb. The Dar al-Islam is all those lands in which a Muslim government rules and the Holy Law of Islam prevails. Non-Muslims may live there on Muslim sufferance. The outside world, which has not yet been subjugated, is called the “House of War,” and strictly speaking a perpetual state of jihad, of holy war, is imposed by the law. The law also provided that the jihad might be interrupted by truces as and when appropriate. In fact, the periods of peace and war were not vastly different from those which existed between the Christian states of Europe for most of European history.

The law thus divides unbelievers theologically into those who have a book and profess what Islam recognizes as a divine religion and those who do not; politically into dhimmis, those who have accepted the supremacy of the Muslim state and the primacy of the Muslims, and harbis, the denizens of the Dar al-harb, the House of War, who remain outside the Islamic frontier, and with whom therefore there is in principle, a canonically obligatory perpetual state of war until the whole world is either converted or subjugated.

So, it does not matter if cut & run to Canada. Their future if we loose:

    The Dhimmi

Still, as “People of the Book,” Jews (and Christians) are protected under Islamic law. The traditional concept of the “dhimma” (”writ of protection”) was extended by Muslim conquerors to Christians and Jews in exchange for their subordination to the Muslims. Peoples subjected to Muslim rule usually had a choice between death and conversion, but Jews and Christians, who adhered to the Scriptures, were allowed as dhimmis (protected persons) to practice their faith. This “protection” did little, however, to insure that Jews and Christians were treated well by the Muslims. On the contrary, an integral aspect of the dhimma was that, being an infidel, he had to openly acknowledge the superiority of the true believer–the Muslim.

In the early years of the Islamic conquest, the “tribute” (or jizya), paid as a yearly poll tax, symbolized the subordination of the dhimmi. Later, the inferior status of Jews and Christians was reinforced through a series of regulations that governed the behavior of the dhimmi. Dhimmis, on pain of death, were forbidden to mock or criticize the Koran, Islam or Muhammad, to proselytize among Muslims or to touch a Muslim woman (though a Muslim man could take a nonMuslim as a wife).

Dhimmis were excluded from public office and armed service, and were forbidden to bear arms. They were not allowed to ride horses or camels, to build synagogues or churches taller than mosques, to construct houses higher than those of Muslims or to drink wine in public. They were not allowed to pray or mourn in loud voices-as that might offend the Muslims. The dhimmi had to show public deference toward Muslims-always yielding them the center of the road. The dhimmi was not allowed to give evidence in court against a Muslim, and his oath was unacceptable in an Islamic court. To defend himself, the dhimmi would have to purchase Muslim witnesses at great expense. This left the dhimmi with little legal recourse when harmed by a Muslim.(4)

Of course if they are not a practicing Christian or a Jew (most likely) then they either have to become a Muslim or off go their head.

Oh, I forgot to ad this to my last post:

Dhimmis were also forced to wear distinctive clothing. In the ninth century, for example, Baghdad’s Caliph al-Mutawakkil designated a yellow badge for Jews, setting a precedent that would be followed centuries later in Nazi Germany.(5)

seems like more canadians by a huge factor move to the US and these guys aint the whining freaks going the other way either.
I dont think that socialised meds are going to be such a boon either, ive lived under this regime all my life, its great if you can get it.Hospital waiting lists go years, drugs may be cheap but only the range that the gmt subsidises and where they come from is anyones guess, china anyone?melamine?non standardised doses?nursing homes? you will die of old age before you find a place.
Great place if you have given up looking after yourself and dont mind the waiting.
Maybe thats why the Canadians are heading south into the warmer climes!

  23. SSG Tom Duke

Gee will we give amnesty to these antiwar “A Holes” just like we did with the last antiwar bastards who ran away to Canada so they would not be drafted during the Vietnam War?!!

  24. KBoomr113

These people are just fags that want to get married in Canada and sick people trying to sponge off their healthcare. Either way its a win-win for us.

  25. John Cunningham

They’ll be back on those buses that go to shopping malls. No one told them about the GST. Canadians have a heavy tax burden, that’s how they pay for ‘free’ health care. GST means goods and services tax, but Canadians jokingly call it the gouge and screw tax. Canadians do have a better view of Niagara Falls, though. I lived in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area from ‘81 to ‘03. Up until ‘99 had been back and forth across the border a million times. Remind me to tell you someday how I managed to get banned from Canada.

  26. azbastard

bye bye and dont let the screen door hit you in the ass..so, john how did you get banned from cananda?

  27. John Cunningham

azbastard, thought you’d never ask. Canada has this landed immigrant policy whereas if one can make it to the Canadian border, you’re in. New York has the Cadillac of welfare, Canada has the Rolls Royce. I was driving the taxi and given a call to go to the Rainbow Bridge to pick up a couple with child going over to Canadian Immigration. The US driver has to stay with the passenger until they clear Immigration. There are times admittance is refused so they must be brought back. It’s rare, but, it happens. After an hour and a half they still weren’t admitted. Maybe, now this was prior to 9/11, so I’m just supposing, it was because they were from Turkey. As I said in the previous post I up to that time had been back and forth across the Peace, Rainbow and Queenston-Lewiston Bridges a million times and never been asked, “have you ever been arrested”? I suspected a bit of attitude from this particular Immigration Dudley Doright, never felt that from the millions of other Immigration Officers. Perhaps he was from Ottawa. I don’t know why I say that, having never been to Ottawa he acted like that’s the way people from there would act. Kind of like if one is from Montreal abnormal behavior is expected. He was acting as though I went driving all over Europe and the Near East to pick up customers so I could then dump them on Canada’s doorstep. Anyway, the question blindsided me and in trying to reach back, now I have a memory span of five minutes and he was asking me to review my life. I remembered something so I blurted out, ‘yes’. I was not one to screw around on the border and in an effort to be honest that’s what happened. The only problem was what I was trying to collect my thoughts on was something that had happened twenty years before. Another taxi story. I got into a dispute with a security guard in a hospital parking lot over where I had left the cab while I went into the hospital’s front door to announce who I was there for. It was like we were on a one way street and he wanted me to move the cab from one side of the street to the other. But, he waited until I was at the point of no return, as long as it would take to go back to the cab it would take the same or less time to just continue on, get the customer and get the hell out of the parking lot altogether. He didn’t see it that way. He grabbed me around the neck and flung me through the hedgerow and I sprayed him in the face with CS gas. I mean what would you do if some knuckle dragging goon comes lumbering through the hedges to get you, again? Anyway, it was his parking lot and I got charged with assault with possession of an instrument of crime, appealed it, and had it reduced to harrassment, fined $108 and the record was to be expunged in one year. Back to the Rainbow Bridge twenty years later. As I’m trying to retrieve what had happened back in Philadelphia I realized I could have lied because since the record was expunged I could have said ‘no’ when asked if I had ever been arrested. Stupid fuck. Dudley Doright found some sub, sub, sub, paragraph in their book of rules as to who they’ll let in and it has to do with, and I’m not kidding, even if the information is volunteered that’s grounds for refusal of admission. What I did in Canada is thought of as serious an offense as if I had shot the security guard with a gun. They’re hysterical, up there. Under any other circumstances what I did in Philadelphia would not have been a problem if it had not been for the fact that however unreasonable the security guard was he was legally correct. I think him being a retired Wilmington, Delaware policeman may have weighted things in his favor. I’d have thought the judge would have called it even, you shouldn’t have hit him, you shouldn’t have sprayed him. First time I didn’t go with a lawyer, the second time I did may also have had something to do with it. I got banned from Canada on St. Patrick’s Day 1999. You should have seen the dramatic pose from Dudley as he escorted me to my cab and gestured pointing south, ‘leave our country and don’t come back’. I think it’s his picture they engraved on the one dollar Canadian coin. That’s why Canadians nicknamed their one-dollar coin the loonie and the two-dollar coin the toonie. The Turkish couple with infant were put into a Canadian taxi so they could be taken 17 miles south to Fort Erie, Ontario because that’s where the Turkish interpretor had his office. No doubt they felt they had to remove this poor family from the clutches from the violent, evil US cab driver. But, six months later I got over on them. I was given a call to go to Goat Island and it turned out this family was from Japan. Little English. They said the name of the hotel and that they were then going to the airport. At least a $65 fare. I went to the Sheraton and they said ‘no’, Canadian side. The Sheraton has a hotel on each side. Now, it’s $30 more, $15 over, waiting time, and $15 back and then on to the 20 mile trip to the airport in Buffalo. It’ll be over my cold, dead body before I give up this fare. I’m gonna’ do it. I really was in a cold sweat. If I had been caught I could have spent at least two weeks in a Canadian jail waiting for the American consulate. It was more nerve racking than Vietnam or all the guns pulled on me in the cab. Obviously I made it. The trip’s time in Canada may have been 45 minutes, the longest 45 minutes in my life. In ‘03 I moved back to Philadelphia. Canada, it bothered me for about six months when it first happened. I got over it, and as time goes by I’m even more and more over it. Oooo, Caannaaddaa, you’ve lost you fucking mind.

Blame Canada, blame Canada, with pointy little heads and beady little eyes….Oops! Flash backs for the old South Park show. What do you expect from a country that decided to go to the far far left and cut their defense budget to the point that if you add all their Army, Air Force, Navy, and Royal Mounties the combined manpower will be a little over 50,000. Yep! Canada which is the second largest country in the world is nothing but a Nation that is going to fragmented into two or three different Countries withing 10 years thanks to Quebec and their Political Correct Government. Hey western Providences of Alberta, British Colombia, and Yukon, your are will to to join the United States if you want to!
