Iran is just like Iraq in one respect. For years Iraq pushed us into war. They tested our resolve prior to Gulf War I, and they got their asses kicked.
Then Saddam tests us agin after Gulf War I, even going so far as to actually threatening the assasination of an American president…an act of war in anyone’s lexicon.
The pushed and pushed….and we finally smashed Saddam.
Now Iran is trying the same shit, hoping that once again, the US lacks the resolve to do anything about it.
Ahmedinajacked may want rethink his tactics.

They deny everything and are expert at war by proxy.
They deny arming, training and funding sunni terrorists in Iraq.
They deny arming, training and funding shiite terrorists in Iraq.
They deny arming, training and funding Hesbollah terrorists in Lebanon.
They deny arming, training and funding Hamas terrorists in Palestine.
They deny arming, training and funding Islamic Jihad terrorists in Palestine. (even though they are virtually the Iranian secret service under the I.J. name and cause the most violence by far there)
They deny arming, training and funding Taliban terrorists in Afghanistan.
They deny arming, training and funding Al Qaeda terrorists in Afghanistan.
They deny they sponsor terror groups all over the world.
They deny the bombing in Beunos Aires of the Jewish centre that caused mass deaths.
They deny they are seeking nuclear weapons.
You see a pattern here?
Yeah sure, Chimpy is taking his country to war over a power station.

Sanctions will hurt them for sure, but it will not stop them in their quest for nuclear weapons because the regime is ideologically driven.
This is the most dangerous thing about them and certainly Chimpy in particular as he is also messianic.
He really does believe the 12th or (hidden) Imam is returning soon, who will put the world to rights after great upheaval and strife.He disappeared down a well over a thousand years ago and oh - he’s five years old by the way.
Once they obtain nuclear weapons it spells extreme danger to us all as the thought of these weapons in the hands of the proxies mentioned above doesn’t bare thinking about.

August 25th, 2007 at 10:16 amI’ve told you and a couple of others before that I was getting a promotion to E-8, Mst Sgt, final as of 1200 yesterday, lot’s of booze last nite, and with that promotion a special assignment.
That Assignment will see my ass back in Iraq. Somewhere east of Baghdad. The rest is classified, and I really don’t know more than that. But my specialty in the Army is mobile infantry and heavy weapons. You can draw your own conclussions, I know I have.
But don’t give up the good fight. I know myself and a few others feel a lot better with you covering our backs here in the states.

When I read that in the news when it came out I knew everyone here would love to knock his teeth into the back of his throat. I am fully confident that our military will accomplish that too at a time of its choosing.
