Newt’s Complex Proposal
According to Newt Gingrich on Fox News this morning, the answer to protecting Americans from the thousands of often violent illegal alien criminals in the United States, is shockingly complex, sophisticated, byzantine, difficult, racist - you name it - stuff.
His proposal: Congress should pass a law mandating that everyone arrested be checked for residency status.
Oh wait, that’s exceedingly simple.
Hmmm. If someone shows up on the database they are deported. This not only protects the American people from future crimes, but saves the taxpayers untold millions, because we don’t even have to try and house the f******, we can just deport them.
As usual, common sense is not prevailing in Washington.
And the Open Borders crew, via everything from their general rhetoric to their sanctuary cities, are fooling us into thinking that we can’t realistically deal with the problems caused by illegal immigrants, and they are in fact aiding and abetting criminal violent criminal activity in America by doing everything they can to make it difficult for us to enjoy the benefits ( like security ) of our sovereignty.
Newt’s the man! Might be nice to have a real orator as president. I get sooo frustrated listening to President Bush. (and I support Bush!)
August 11th, 2007 at 9:52 amThe Immigration control in this country is a sham, a joke, despicable, horrible, incompetent, a bureaucratic nightmare, and a shame. Everyone knows it. Bush knows it. Businesses exploit it. Illegals are laughing at the stupidity of Americans and the ease in which they can come across and stay in the country regardless of their illegal status. And my wife is Mexican, so you know I catch hell all the time. My wife loves America and believes it is a great country, but it still amazes me that she still loves Mexico for the shitty country that it is, corruption and a governmental failure that it is.
It’s pure emotion and they actually believe they have a right to the US just as if they were born here. I tell her that if we stopped letting them in our country so easily, maybe they would have their own revolution in Mexico, but you know that gets me a slap in the face every time. You know how feisty Mexican women can be!
August 11th, 2007 at 10:13 amThis is ridiculous, it’s illegal in Oregon for police to spend any time or resources at all pursuing illegal immigrants, they can’t by law ask anyone if they are legal or not. I hate this impotent government that can’t secure the borders, we need some god damned leadership
August 11th, 2007 at 10:54 amu let ur wife slap you..
August 11th, 2007 at 11:19 amDon’t normally agree with newt, but at least his idea is efficent.
August 11th, 2007 at 12:59 pmWhy don’t Mexicans make their OWN America in Mexico? Make their country NOT WORTH leaving?
August 11th, 2007 at 2:51 pmIt makes too much sense, is too easy, too logical and too cost effective. It will never pass our politicians approval.
Allahuakbar!
August 11th, 2007 at 3:10 pmIt’s so bloody simple to control but those who can make a difference have sold-out.
Gee, if you’re arrested and you’re illegal you get deported = simple. If you’re pulled over and are illegal you get deported = simple. If you hire an illegal and get caught = you’re employees are deported and the company is fined the first time, it’s then shut down the second time with all assets being sold off to help curb illegals from entering the country.
If you commit a felony/crime you’re shot and your body is donated to science = simple!
Next issue that our government cannot seem to handle please……..
August 11th, 2007 at 4:29 pmI have to ‘defer’ to the Australia Government On this (They just way to much ‘common sense’ in their country.
____
Australia:
April 2007
*** Start Quote:
“IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.”
“However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the ‘politically correct’ crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia .”
“However, there are a few things that those who have
recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.” “This idea of Australia being a multi- cultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. And as Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle.”
“This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom”
“We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!”
“Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.”
“We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.”
“If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don’t like “A Fair Go”, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don’t care how you did things where you came from. By all means, keep
your culture, but do not force it on others.
“This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,
‘THE RIGHT TO LEAVE’.”
“If you aren’t happy here then LEAVE. We didn’t force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.”
Hmm… I wonder how a ‘take it or leave it’ policy would work in Southern California?? How would you say that in Spanish??

Now…this is just some old fasihion America ‘common sense’ at work.
______
This is exactly what the USA was all about and should be all about now. If you did not know this was from the Australian Government…you could have sworn they are talking about the USA…
BUT…just goes to shows how “political correctness” has run a-muck in the USA the last 15 years or so.

Best!

At least the Department of Homeland Security is at least attempting to enforce our already existing immigration laws.
The key to getting a handle on illegal immigration is forcing employers to obey the law, and pay their taxes.
Stiff fines and jail time should be the norm for any employer that knowingly hires an illegal.
And I’m fucking tired of pressing one for English. No habla Engles? No Problemo. Go Fuck yourself gringo illegal.
August 11th, 2007 at 6:07 pm[…] The reality is that we can deport most of the illegal immigrants in this country (you’d never get them all) with two rather simple steps which I’ve been advocating for a while. The first step is, obviously, to secure the border. The second step has just been suggested by Newt Gingrich: […]
August 11th, 2007 at 6:19 pmDan, you would say it Hasta LaVista, Baby!
August 11th, 2007 at 7:14 pmNewt for President…we haven’t had a great thinker in the White House since…since…since…I took the tour in ‘87. But seriously, Newt should be in the White House, whether he’s the President or the chief political strategist or the puppet master or whatever. The guy is brilliant, has a love and appreciation of history and is still chock full of ideas. Something both parties are missing.
August 11th, 2007 at 7:39 pmJudith:
That’s too polite. If it were me…Something along the lines of besa mi cula would be more appropos.
August 11th, 2007 at 9:04 pmI can speak from personal experience: I have defended illegal immigrants here in FL on FELONY charges…Got them placed on probation for their offense…AND NOTHING HAPPENS. Why the fxck they weren’t immediately deported has always been a mystery to me. And this was under the “hardline” Jeb Bush admin.
Here’s my (pre-Newt) plan, a valuable warm-up for the much more massive deportations we need:
1–Identify every illegal alien in Federal custody, whose sentence ends in less than 6 months. Deport them.
2–Identify every illegal alien in Federal custody who has served 80% or more of their sentence, and has less than 2 years left. Deport them.
3–Identify every illegal alien in State custody, and offer to deport immediately any that the State would like to clear out. Then deport them.
These steps would quickly rid us of at least 100,000 [500,000?] per se undesirables, and provide a valuable logistical training exercise as we ratchet up the pressure so we can handle millions.
And who wd dare to criticize this deportation plan? Hell, we’d put the libs in a position that they’d be arguing FOR LONGER JAIL SENTENCES, lol!
“A journey of 12,000,000 deportations begins with a single felon.”
August 11th, 2007 at 10:00 pmSimple solution:
Any state, city, county, or other municipality that fails to uphold immigration law, or is a declared “sanctuary city”…
“No fed-bucks for you!!”
Face them with the prospect of losing Uncle Sugar’s goodies, and they’ll cave.
Won’t happen, though.
