Some religious holiday, and you guys thought Christmas gets out of hand with the all the excessive shopping and long lines at the customer service desk.
September 18th, 2007 at 4:00 amGunny really… Wouldn’t the Islamists see shit like this and say, “Hey, my religion is totally fucked up. I’ve never seen a Christian holiday where people kill each other (in the last 500 or so years). I don’t care anymore whether Americans believe what I do. I’m just going to live in peace with them there because it’s safe.”
September 18th, 2007 at 4:25 amSo let me see if I get this straight, AQ can go around killing innocent victims during their most holy of celebrations and receive no condemnation from those that follow Islam, but when Blackwater does their job protecting a convoy under ambush, they are kicked out of Iraq. Something seems very wrong with this scenario. CplUsmc I could not agree with you more regarding the Islamist not governing their own religion and outright damning jihad that is killing their own people. Does the Koran not forbid killing of fellow islamist?
September 18th, 2007 at 5:40 amTexas Larry…
The Koran does in fact prohibit the killing of innocents. However, innocence is very loosely defined. The Kuffar (unbeleivers or Muslim apostates) are not considered to be innocent in the sight of Allah and therefore fair game.
Also, the Koran prohibits Muslims from taking the side of the kuffar in a dispute between beleivers and the kuffar as many Iraqi’s have done. Hence that makes the Iraqi Muslims kuffars.
September 18th, 2007 at 6:20 amSura 5:32
5:32: “For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah’s sovereignty), but afterwards lo! Many of them become prodigals of the earth.”
It does not prohib the killing of kuffar as JayMS said. Any anyone, Muslim or not can be declared kuffar or takfir.
AQ is great at making excuses for murder of the innocent by citing references from the Hadith and Muslim history to justify their actions. In Koranic terms AQ are mustifoon.
