Interior Ministry Does Not Have Power To Revoke Blackwater’s License
Blackwater’s license has not been revoked, as the mouthy Interior Ministry doesn’t have the power to do it. Only Parliament does, and the ministry will have to appear before the body and submit a request.
Sources in Baghdad tell me that their suspension of diplomatic convoys outside of the Greenzone ( convoys which are secured by Blackwater ) was ordered not due to Blackwater’s license status, but due to concerns that such convoys would now be the favorite target du jour. State also feels that the general disappearance of Blackwater personnel from the streets will facilitate and expedite a cooling-off period.
“BAGHDAD (AP) - The Interior Ministry said Monday that it was pulling the license of an American security firm”
New Law- You must pass Iraqi civics before you can be elected to office. This means the embarrassment is all you Mr. Mouthy Interior Ministry
September 19th, 2007 at 1:22 amLike Blackwater wasn’t a target before? Go explain that to the 200+ families of individual security personnel that have died thus far.
Cooling off period? Why because the pigfucker Mookie is pissed? Well here’s an idea Mr Interior minister, how bout we kill Mookie and put the Sunnis back in charge? How’s that grab you? You incompitent wingnut.
September 19th, 2007 at 2:34 amThe Interior Ministry is the most corrupt, vile piece of shit in Iraq after AQ. They can go fuck themselves. As far as this ‘we’re a sovereign nation and we do what we want’ bullshit. Well fuck that too. We keep you in power, our military is the only thing holding your piece of shit government in place. We’ll let you know when OUR contractors get pulled. I’m tired of keeping the appearance of a democratic Iraq. Especially when it comes to letting shitbags (Maliki/Mouthy) live-it up in ‘power.’
