Ahmadinejad Still Intends To Visit Ground Zero

There’s still a lot of funny business and haziness going on with all this. Contrary to reports yesterday, Commissioner Kelly only initially ruled out taking Ahamadinejad down into the crater, not to the site itself. Technically, the NYPD have not ruled out providing any security for Ahmadinejad if he chooses to visit the outer areas of the site. After the heat first fell yesterday, a little parsing was done, and the NY Times said that Ahamdinejad’s request was dismissed out of hand - this was only a half truth; his request to descend into the crater was dismissed out of hand, but not his request to visit the outside, public areas of the site. The NY Times tried to imply the NY Sun report that the issue was still open wasn’t accurate, based on the claim that Commission Kelly had spoken a little sloppily and left the impression that the issue was still open. Not true. Commission Kelly was very clear - the crater request was denied, but the overall visit request was still open. At least as of yesterday. This is all still developing, smoke still clearing, smoke still being stirred up…

(New York - WABC, September 19, 2007) - Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad requested to visit Ground Zero during an upcoming trip to New York. That request was rejected Wednesday. But a source tells Eyewitness News that the decision may not stop him.

A law enforcement source says the Iranian mission to the United Nations has informed the Secret Service that the Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero Monday at 10 a.m.

The source says regardless of the NYPD’s rejection of the request for a Ground Zero tour, Iran’s president and his entourage will be accompanied by a Secret Service protective detail, a detail provided to all heads of state when they visit the United States.

And from AP:

Mohammad Mir Ali Mohammadi, spokesman for the Iranian mission to the U.N., said he was not notified officially that Ahmadinejad would not be allowed at the site, but said it was unfortunate.

“President Ahmadinejad intended to lay a wreath at the site of ground zero in order to pay tribute to the victims of the terrorists attack of Sept. 11, 2001. We are hopeful that we can still work something out with the police department,” he said.

    I say let him visit.

See how many Black OPS teams will have him in their cross hairs?

I say let him visit. Easy target, I can’t see our secret service men really laying down their life for this asshole. :?: :?:

No way the Secret Service lets him piss on the graves of our families and countrymen.

Have bareback obama hussien escort him there. They can have a nice chat also.

Now we get to really see what the NY and national officials are made of. My bet is that they role over like the spineless brainless turds that they are and provide full escort to the president of the largest state sponsor of terror.

Mark my words, unless people like us raise hell about this they will honor his request and escort him to the site and the Secret Service and NYPD will follow orders and do exactly as their told like good robots.

There are very few real patriots in positions of leadership today.

This madman’s polluting presence should not be permitted anywhere near Ground Zero. Let him limit his toxic emanations at Columbia, where he will be surrounded by like-minded hatemongers.

  7. Goodbye Natalie

Nobody has yet given me a good reason as to why we don’t kidnap this megalomaniac, blindfold him, throw him in the smallest cell NY can find, and lead him around for the cameras with a crowd screaming Death to Iran for say about 445 days while the Clinton News Network and Al-Jeezie broadcast it to the world?

One extra day in captivity for good measure…

It would be great if our leaders would guzzle a gallon of milk and GROW A SPINE!!
Take this cross eyed little piece of garbage to the woodshed and beat the Jihad out of him!

I just don’t believe New Yorkers will put up with dick-boy’s visit. Better bring lots of cops…

The “rifle round to the head” offer still stands.

Why are we helping this guy’s propaganda machine? I don’t get it at all. This is like playing host to Hitler or Stalin, WTF NYC?
