Can Someone Please Explain To Me…
…what the difference is between letting Ahmadinejad speak at Columbia and letting Osama Bin Laden speak at Columbia?
…what the difference is between letting Ahmadinejad speak at Columbia and letting Osama Bin Laden speak at Columbia?
Be respectful of others and their opinions. Inflammatory remarks and inane leftist drivel will be deleted. It ain’t about free speech, remember you’re in a private domain. My website, my prerogative.
If you can't handle using your real email address, don't bother posting a comment.
There’s no difference. It’s just that patriotic Americans have been putting up with this treasonous behavior for too long. The soft revolution that is occurring in America has yet to turn violent. But with shit like this going on anymore, I can’t see how this will go on much longer without libtards finally getting paid what they deserve.
September 21st, 2007 at 10:58 amGot nothing.
September 21st, 2007 at 11:00 amSince he’s killing our troops, there is no difference.
September 21st, 2007 at 11:03 amThere is no difference other than the distinctions the ‘left’ make as in calling the Iranian puke a “world leader”. Although if they thought they could get away with it they’d give that same distinction to OBL. Remember the ‘trial balloons’ floated a few years ago of calling terrorists “freedom fighters”?
September 21st, 2007 at 11:07 amBunch of fuckin assholes.
Adolf Hitler was a “world leader” too..The libs making the distinction between Osama and Amhedinejad along these lines is beyond stupid, but its how they see it. There is no difference between the 3 i have mentioned (to take it a step further). They would love nothing more than to eradicate the Jewish people and destroy America if given the opportunity. I think its too much that we let Ahmedinejad fly over US airspace, let alone have him go to New York and speak to college students.
September 21st, 2007 at 11:16 amSully
If FireFighters Fight Fires
And Crimefighters fight Crime
What do Freedom Fighters Fight ??
September 21st, 2007 at 11:17 amHe shouldnt be allowed on our precious soil !!
Please somebody blast his ass !!
The only difference is that Ama-whatever is in a position that allows the leftists to convientlly ignore what his regime has done (because Iran has denied it), and bin Ladin is in a position where it is impossible to ignore what his organization has done (he admitted it).
It’s a type of willfull ignorance, which the left is unbelievably adept at using. They’ll ignore or feign ignorance of Iran’s actions untill it is totally impossible to ignore those actions without revealing themselves for the treasonus bastards that they are.
That is precisly the type of cowerdice and mind set that is killing this country, and that leads to genocides and massive loss of life.
September 21st, 2007 at 11:21 amThere is no difference & the time for action is coming closer & closer.
There will be action before it is overwith. This pot has been simmering for some time now and when the disgusting left do take to the battlefield, they will be as ruthless with malice as those beasts in the LA riots as well as the beasts of the KKK.
Those who insight this behavior (news media & hollywood & corrupt first responders) will have to be dealt with accordingly.
September 21st, 2007 at 11:21 amGee Pat, let’s see… they’re both islamofascists…they’re both terrorist leaders…they both need a third eye…no difference!
September 21st, 2007 at 11:24 amWhy has nobody mentioned that Columbia University has an unused nuclear reactor?
http://www.columbia.edu/~gh81/reactor.html
September 21st, 2007 at 11:36 amThe only difference is in the spelling and the (in)frequency of bathing.
September 21st, 2007 at 11:40 amPerhaps we should ask General Petraeus to prayforus
Ray
September 21st, 2007 at 11:51 am“Perhaps we should ask General Petraeus to prayforus”
He’s busy…
September 21st, 2007 at 11:56 amor ask him to preyforus may be better
September 21st, 2007 at 11:56 amOBL is “technically” wanted and MA is not…….i guess. But I get your point. There is no difference as far as conspiring to destroy all things west.
September 21st, 2007 at 12:07 pmOnly difference is that the left refuses to believe that Ahmadinejad is actually killing our troops, 9-11 was a bit too hard to ignore.
Plus Bin Laden killed civilians. Ahmadinejad just kills our pig-soldier baby killers in Iraq in a well justified manner….
September 21st, 2007 at 12:10 pmThe difference? Ahmadinejad is a sucker enough to go for it, and we can get his ass then!!
Now can anyone tell me the difference between hope springing eternal, and a pipe dream?
September 21st, 2007 at 12:42 pmThe difference is the MSM and academia is seized by leftists who refuse to recognize when we are at war because they don’t agree with it. To them, armed conflict is a “free speech issue” where the enemy is, in their minds, just “the other side of the argument.” What I want to know is: why did conservatives yield academia to these morons?
September 21st, 2007 at 12:48 pmColumbia University President’s own words:
“I would like to add a few comments on the principles that underlie this event. Columbia, as a community dedicated to learning and scholarship, is committed to confronting ideas—to understand the world as it is and as it might be. ”
I love the “might” be line at the end.
September 21st, 2007 at 12:53 pmLamplighter - numbers, man. Academia today is overwhelmingly left-leaning. I’m about to change jobs as a research scientist, and when I walk out the door of my current job I’ll leave behind a staff that hasn’t got a single person with military experience. This is at an institute that once dropped everything to work on defense-related projects in WWII. Now I’m turning the lights out on the way out the door.
To be fair, academia has always had more than its fair share of lefties. Even in WWII and afterwards, it was the communist sympathizers in the Manhattan Project who gave the bomb to the Soviets, if you’ll recall.
Hopefully this is one of those things that works in cycles, and a change is coming. It certainly can’t be much more one-sided than it is right now.
September 21st, 2007 at 12:54 pmdiplomatic immunity ?
still hoping for a lapse in security
September 21st, 2007 at 12:57 pm[…] Can Someone Please Explain To Me… — Pat Dollard […]
September 21st, 2007 at 12:58 pm“…to understand the world as it is and as it might be.”
Yeah…. ask one of their profs wtf “might be” means and you get 15 minutes of leftist drivel that really is unbearable.
My fave experience with them though was when one of them said to me… ‘I can see you’re a man with little appreciation for nuance.’
My daughter chimed in with… “You got that right but that’s about it.”
September 21st, 2007 at 1:04 pmLet’s see: hates America, despises Christianity, advocates the overthrow of the government, and has poor personal hygene.
Wait, are we talking about Islamofascists or your average leftist professor?
September 21st, 2007 at 1:05 pmlibs refuse to differentiate between the two, that would be discriminating, remember how Evan Sayet explained their way of thinking.
September 21st, 2007 at 1:12 pmThe world has gone mad. I genuinely believe that if it were 1940, Columbia would invite Hitler.
September 21st, 2007 at 1:15 pmIf he gets near ground zero, I hope an angry NYPD officer who lost friends is there at that exact moment….
September 21st, 2007 at 1:16 pmI believe I have heard the Communist News Network (CNN) refer to UBL as a Holy Warrior… So much more politically correct.
September 21st, 2007 at 1:18 pmIf Hitler was alive, he would not lead Germany. Hitler would lead the Democrats
September 21st, 2007 at 1:40 pmUmm, (gee, I hope I win!) One wears a Members Only jacket and one wears a dress?
September 21st, 2007 at 1:43 pmColumbia University’s President will eat those words.
September 21st, 2007 at 1:44 pm…tears across America…..
September 21st, 2007 at 1:48 pmI would actually love to attend if I had the opportunity. What a great chance to see this guy in person and get inside his head. I don’t support them allowing him to speak, I think they are idiots. But I would still go.
September 21st, 2007 at 2:07 pmIt gets even better. Check out the newest “Winter Soldier” wannabee:
September 21st, 2007 at 3:09 pmhttp://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2007/09/anti-war-youtub.html
Jeez… you can get jail time for lying about being a war hero but if you aid and abet ….. it’s nada??
September 21st, 2007 at 3:20 pmsully:
Yep. One traitor gets jail time. And another gets a pass.
September 21st, 2007 at 3:37 pmI agree both should not.
But… Bin Laden does have a $50 Million price on his head.
But…If you argued that Ahmadinejad should have a $100 Million price on his head…you would get no argument from me.
Post Game Wrap Up: I am with ‘Ranger’ “Got Nothing”!
Maybe next year, Columbia will have them as a ‘double bill’ ~ speaking engagement!
Sure would be a quick $150 Million or so…If you catch my drift! ( sniper training?)
Have a good and safe weekend!
September 21st, 2007 at 4:19 pmPeace!
Dan2
nothing
September 21st, 2007 at 4:58 pmAll I know is the air force will have confirmed intel for time and location to take out a terrorist leader and his rebel faction. I highly reccomend a MOAB. I stand corrected, 2 MOAB. Colateral damage significance, none.
September 21st, 2007 at 5:22 pm@Dan:
“Yep. One traitor gets jail time. And another gets a pass.”
Guess it never occurred to me that way. Hanoi Jane was far worse than some asshole puffin himself up just to get laid. Letters away…
