Baghdad, Sept 30, (VOI) – At least 40 gunmen were killed and 52 suspects were arrested from all over Iraq over the past 24 hours, said an Iraqi army statement released on Sunday.

“Iraqi forces killed 40 terrorists in Baghdad, Mosul, Samarra and Hilla,” a military advisor in the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, Muhammad al-Askari, told the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI).

“The killings and arrests were carried out during raids by (Iraqi) army personnel on terrorist hideouts,” al-Askari added.

Gee, from the reports in the mainstream media, the Iraqi Army is not ready to fight. Looks like they got it wrong again….
