“The Administration Is Ramping Up. You Can Just See It”

WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidate Bill Richardson said Sunday it would be “enormously unwise” for the Bush administration to take military action against Iran before it gets out of Iraq.

“I believe it would be enormously unwise for the Bush administration to start another war before ending this tragic war we’re in today and it does sound like the administration is ramping up. You can just see it,” he said.

Richardson, also the governor New Mexico, pointed to a 76-22 vote in the Senate last week on a resolution urging the State Department to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization.

Hillary Rodham Clinton was the only Democratic senator who is running for president to vote for the measure. Richardson criticized her vote.

“Calling them names, labeling them terrorists, drawing up military options is just making the situation worse and inflaming the Muslim world,” he said.

U.S.-Iran tensions are running high over U.S. allegations that Iran is secretly trying to develop nuclear weapons and supplying Iraq’s Shiite militias with weapons that have killed U.S. troops. Iran denies both claims.

“Once again the administration seems to be preparing the American people for a ramp-up in action, and it would be, I believe, another disastrous foreign policy decision,” Richardson said.

Richardson, a former U.N. ambassador, said that as president he would use his diplomatic experience to engage Muslim clerics, students, university professors and business leaders in Iran. He would leave Iranian President Ahmadinejad out of the loop.

Richardson appeared on “Face the Nation” on CBS.

Richardson is a self-absorbed fucktard lost in 1970’s diplomacy. His opinion is about as worthwhile as a teet on a bull. This war and the potential war with Iran are way over his thick surrender-monkey head. Go hold hands with your buddy Jimmy Carter or go clean Nancy Peloski’s boots…you are an idiot.

Makes you wonder if Neville Chamberlain is his foreign policy advisor?

When was the last time Diplomacy or sanctions worked with Iran ?…anybody…? Hmmm..I think I hear crickets.

Yes, we call them names, AND we identify all 8,000 targets worth destroying in their country, send carrier task forces into the Persian Gulf, arm their enemies, support their internal opposition groups, conduct operations at will in their country, and stablize Iraq at our backs so we can redeploy to the east. It is beautiful to watch.

Richardson, like all dems, is reacting to the shitstorm they will be in should we actually fix the mess given to us by Carter stupidity and Clinton inattention.

Another non-expert who wants us to believe he is an expert on the ongoing Muslim crusades.

The Muslims would love for someone as weak as he is to be in the White House. The Muslims really, really respect weakness. tic

Here’s what one Former jihadi had to say about dipweeds like Richardson:
“… I remember how we used to laugh in celebration whenever people on TV proclaimed that the sole cause for Islamic acts of terror like 9/11, the Madrid bombings, and 7/7 was Western foreign policy.”

Hear that Billy? They laugh at you? Why shouldn’t we?

How the left is completely oblivious to their own idiocy is completely beyond me. Must be the weed.

Actually sanctions hit Iran hard in the 80s when they couldn’t get enough spare parts for their military equipment during the Iran-Iraq War.

Richardson is a doofus, but this Admin. has got ’splaining to do about its efforts toward Iran. They haven’t followed through with the sanctions, they haven’t followed through on threats about the nuclear program. They pretty much seem to have capitulated to letting the State Dept. handle things, and the State Dept. has been incompetent, making idle threats and not following through. Simply enforcing what we’ve said we would do in terms of economic sanctions would go a long way–for instance, a stoppage of gasoline shipments to them would cripple their country and their gov’t would probably collapse in a week.
