Alan Colmes Defends Iran’s Proxy War In Iraq
As Hannity & Colmes was wrapping up tonight, Sean quoted what General Petraeus said about Iran killing Americans through a proxy war in Iraq.
Alan Colmes responded by defending Ahmadinejad and Iran:
“He’s supporting the Shiites, not targeting the United States.”
Tell that to the dead and their families, Alan. And please, define “supporting the Shiites”.
His personal email is alan.colmes@foxnews.com.
What a suprise…
September 24th, 2007 at 7:24 pmAnother fucking dickhead!
September 24th, 2007 at 7:24 pmColmes takes it up the stinkstar. What do you expect from an apologetic Libtard?
September 24th, 2007 at 7:28 pmShithead.
September 24th, 2007 at 7:28 pmI saw that tonight and thought ‘y’know Alan, it really might be better to sometimes shut the fuck up and say…”I got nuthin” rather than say something just cause it’s your turn.’
September 24th, 2007 at 7:28 pmLooks like the fucking crypt keeper.
September 24th, 2007 at 7:45 pmI stopped watching H&C over a year ago due to the attitude of this skinny little weasel and his consistent comments which he knows endanger troops, and his spiteful innuendos’ toward any person with common sense. He is human scum , no more-no less.
September 24th, 2007 at 7:49 pmAll the above & rating hound.
September 24th, 2007 at 7:53 pmThat half-breed asshat has absolutely no intelligence, is rude, and has no respect for his or Sean’s guests. I’ve never heard anything but leftist rhetoric coming from his pie-hole. He should be lynched along with the rest of his ilk!
September 24th, 2007 at 7:57 pmThough I am not condoning Bollinger, his phrase ” Lack the Intellectual honesty” stuck with me.
I think that phrase applies here
September 24th, 2007 at 8:05 pmI to stopped watching HC precisely because of Colmes, it’s unwatchable for me. He seems to lack even a small amount of intellectual honesty.
September 24th, 2007 at 9:56 pmHe’s only on that show so it’s “balanced”…It’s really Hannity’s show anyways, noone gives a shit about what Colmes thinks, at least I don’t!
September 24th, 2007 at 10:35 pmWhat the fuck is up with the upper management fire that piece of shit
September 24th, 2007 at 11:55 pmIf there is an episode I really, really want to see, I Tivo it so I can fast forward through anything Colmesy has to say.
September 25th, 2007 at 12:21 amI don’t watch H&C anymore. I can’t stand that fool Alan Colmes. There is nothing more dangerous to America than an elitist like Colmes who has an intellect with a broken moral compass. This jerk is equal in threat to this nation’s survival as is AQ.
September 25th, 2007 at 5:29 amIf I were a liberal, I’d be pissed that Alan was representing me… he never has anything interesting to say… or inelligent or relevant…. the libs have to have someone better… right??? OK… I guess not!
September 25th, 2007 at 6:10 amI confess I’d had my fill of the news of the day by 9 p.m. and didn’t tune in. But Hannity’s response to Colmes’s stupid remark should have been:
“Well, Alan, THAT would require the Willful Suspension of Disbelief, my friend …”
September 25th, 2007 at 7:01 amI’d be pissy too if I looked like that.
September 25th, 2007 at 7:39 amHe is a piece of shit. When I do watch that show it is for a very short time because when I see that face only mother could love, I just want to reach through the screen, grab him by the neck and squeeze till shit squirts out of his ears. Grab the remote and click to the history channel. Blood pressure drops..
September 25th, 2007 at 8:05 am(Like I’ll ever get a response)
Alan,
I understand you must play Devil’s advocate in countering Sean, and have erred on on the right side (not in reference to politics) on subjects that mattered (case: Forsake the troops.)
You are an intelligent person and I implore that you to use it in analyzing the differences between reality and propaganda. If Mr.Baird (sp) D-WA can, so can you.
No one. No one loathes war more than those who must fight for peace–to quit is failure, to withdraw without victory is failure, and if such became so, then what worth was the price of sacrifice those like I have paid? I know the anguish of sacrifice for nothing from my experience with a father horribly maimed in Vietnam. I cannot speak for him, but for me–I can tell you, the edge is sharper knowing a winnable war (VN) we shouldn’t have been in regardless, was a resolute failure due to Washington (LBJ / Strange McNamara’s) intermeddling.
I saw a kid limping by the uniform shop on Fort Benning the other day during a week of job fairs. He was missing an arm, had a hole in his head, and a mangled left leg. He wore black and lopped a leather satchel around his neck so he could reach it with his left hand. I choked–he’s a kid, fifteen or twenty years my junior, the same age my dad was.
Could you honestly tell him he did it for nothing? Could you tell him he got caught in the crossfire of Ahmadinejad supporting the Shiites? Wouldn’t you rather ask someone like him if “it is worth it” than listening to the opinions of Pelosis, Clintion, Reid, Murtha, Durban et al?
WE are not talking points. WE are flesh and blood–not inanimate chess pieces who can be pacified with the likes of “support the troops by bringing them home” (Clinton) or a cursory “brave” thrown into a sentence when WE are mentioned.
If I personally consider Columbia’s actions (the invitation) through the haze of leftism and pretend to give Adolf Hitler a “fresh start” without the knowledge of what he would do post 1939, I could see Columbia giving him a platform. Apply it to the Iranian President….he isn’t guilty of genocide (yet) but the rhetoric for such is there. Does he deserve a platform?
No. Those who do not follow history are doomed to repeat it. Hitler taught a lesson Columbia has not followed; instead many of the institutions students are seduced by Goebbels-like artistry spoken in the Persian tongue, unless they are already anti-Semites.
Conversation and dialogue is always a worthy first try, but one shouldn’t continue trying to pierce brick with straw if at first they don’t succeed. To not do so is called learning…Neville Chamberlain once failed to do so.
Use the brain Mr. Colmes. Use the brain.

Major Lucas,
If ever an email merited a response, yours is one. My only addition is that you should cc that to Sean.
September 25th, 2007 at 8:46 amAnother limp-wristed bedwetting peacenik lefty. This guy deserves poster-child status though.
Gawd…………
September 25th, 2007 at 8:51 amFOX news has become what CNN used to be - lukewarm and half-assed. When that gawd awful Geraldo and a few of the air-headed, lib women joined the clique, I knew the days of FOX being useful were over.
Colmes by himself was tolerated. Colmes + Geraldo + the libby attorney types had me turning to the History Channel about a year ago.
September 25th, 2007 at 10:07 amMajor C.L. Lucas,
Very nice letter. I doubt you will get a response because Alan couldn’t pen a response befitting.
Thank you for your service. Godspeed to you and your family.
September 25th, 2007 at 10:09 amI’m immediately cc’ng that to Sean….probably still won’t get a response.
