Chickenhawk: CNN Uses Haditha Drone Video To Slime Marines
Chickenhawk Express:
CNN has a story up about the Sky Eagle drone that flew over Haditha that dreadful day in November 2005. Attached to the story are snips from the drone video. This is the first time the video has been made public.
Just a few notes about the video - the footage of the bodies wrapped in blankets is marked “Hammurabi Human Rights Assoc”. There is no “organization” - only two men who have documented ties to terrorist/insurgent activities. Also - the bodies were removed from the morgue and the body bags then take back to the house and wrapped in blankets. The scene was a staged production - similar to Qana II.
The drone also has images of the “white taxi” - which is not labeled as a taxi - with the bodies of the Iraqis next to it. Unfortunately there is no way to zoom in to get a closer look. This is the main area of testimony at Sgt. Wuterich’s Article 32 hearing this past week.
Read the Chickenhawk and CNN stories. Watch part of the drone video in CNN’s “someone must be a scapegoat for appearance’s sake” clip.
Typical pathological CNN (MSM) …

September 1st, 2007 at 4:10 pmI saw that report on CNN. They had some paid liar decrying the verdicts. Lucky for CNN we don’t hang traitors anymore. But that could change?

The LMSM much like De Palma haven’t a clue about Haditha. They make the assumption that troops are all crazy as in the hit piece Platoon.
Because so few of them have any military experience and will not get in the shit with the troops, they have no freaking clue.
The fact is in combat you have to make a spilt second decision. There is NO time to think. You don’t learn split second decision-making in training. You can train all you want, but when the shit flies, your instincts kick in and you have to decide whether to shoot or not to shoot.
It’s a tough call especially in the confined spaces of darkened buildings. Or peeking around a blind alley.
Try it sometime.
Second guessing troops in the field is stupidity of the highest sort. As an ex-PSG, I would want my men to live, and the enemy to die. Survival is the name of the game.
These guys didn’t do anything wrong…except fight the enemy
and beat them. Cnn and Co…should shit or get off the pot.
Because obviously combat and soldiering in general are two subjects that they know nothing about.
Not to worry fellow vets, the last Haditha Marine isn’t going to be Nifonged either.
September 1st, 2007 at 8:08 pmWith the tide turning in Iraq militarily, the MSM and their hacks, to include other commies out there, will stop at nothing to create doubt amongst normal Americans that we can’t win in Iraq, just as they did in the 1970’s as the war was turning in VietNam. They can’t stand for Americans to be successful in combat. Their only victory can be in the hearts and minds of the people, in the media and public opinion. Facts are stubborn little things indeed.
September 1st, 2007 at 9:11 pmHow much did Murtha pay CNN?
September 1st, 2007 at 9:33 pmHe said “justice won’t be served if there are no convictions in the Haditha case?” wow, talking about prejudice and guilty until proven innocent. Justice for Marines fighting battles overseas isn’t important, but for the commies islamic fascists who are willing to commit murder against our own is important.
What a bunch of crap!!

Hey gunny. Someone forgot to tell CNN, that this ain’t 1968,
and they don’t have a Walter Kronkite on staff; nor do they have a monopoly on news reporting. The Internet and talk radio smokes CNN every day of the week.
Doesn’t CNN remind you of the movie “A Few Good Men?”
I can hear Jack Nicholson telling the CNN staff: “You can’t handle the truth”.
Semper Fi.
September 1st, 2007 at 11:28 pmIt’s funny. Jack is far and away the best character in that movie but what’s ridiculous is the thought of a full bird colonel ordering a blanket party on a drag-ass.
September 2nd, 2007 at 12:06 amI saw this on CNN and I just got pissed. CNN sucks.

September 2nd, 2007 at 5:55 amthe last comment by the former judge that it would be hard to say that justice was served if someone wasnt convicted. well who is to say that the people were civilians? when the enemy wears no uniforms, and runs in fear or in order to escape retribution couldnt it be said that the ones to blame for this is the insurgency for blurring the line. The same insurgency that has proven without a doubt that they are directly responsible for the thousands of civilian deaths across the countries, ones they proudly document on you tube and live leak?
cnn must know this. common sense dictates, that in the moment our soldiers factoring in all these realities cant possible always avoid “civilian ” casualties and thus we must be exonerated.
when one side doesnt follow any rules of war why must our side be held to sucha ridiculous standard?
