Cindy Sheehan Arrested

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan was arrested Monday in or near the hearing room where Gen. David Petraeus and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker are testifying on the situation in Iraq, according to the U.S. Capitol Police.
Four anti-war protesters were arrested for disorderly conduct. One of them, who was not named, is being taken to George Washington Hospital “due to complaint of injury” and is also charged with assault on a police officer.
According to the information from the Capitol Police, Sheehan and the other three were shouting in a hallway.
Sheehan was the face of the anti-war movement before saying in May of this year that she would “retire” from the cause. Shortly thereafter, she announced that she would seek the congressional seat of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

I have nothing but anger, hatered, and on some twisted level that I have a hard time dealing with an accepting…pitty for this woman. Instead of remembering her son as a fallen hero I first think of him as the son of that misguided woman that seems to have forgotten that her son volunteered for the armed services.
Maybe they never had a family discussion about the risks of serving in the military, such as being away from family for an extended period of time. Being in third world nations a exposed to dreadful sanitary conditions and disease. How about death? Did they discuss the remote possibilty that he could be deployed to a place with a hint of danger?
If there is a heaven I’m sure that he is looking down, shaking his head in disbelief at his own mother’s actions, and screaming “SHUT THE F-UP MOM!.
