Basra Police To Crackdown On Epidemic Of “Religious” Murders Of Women
Basra, Oct 3, (VOI)- The chief of the Basra police department said that he will lead a campaign aims at protecting the woman’s rights in Basra, which witnesses unprecedented violent acts against women.
“I will lead a campaign to protect the woman’s rights in Basra, where she exposes to different kinds of repression and a new terrorism,” General Abdul Jaleel Khalaf told reporters on Tuesday night in the Basra police department headquarters.
“There are many armed groups who kidnap and kill women in city,” he explained.
“Official statistics indicate that at least 15 women are being killed in Basra every month by criminal organization on the pretext of violating religious and moral rules,” the general noted.
“Most of these criminal acts aim at realizing personal objectives and spreading fear and instability in the city,” he affirmed.
“There are many armed groups patrol the city to hunt down and kidnap women who use make-up,” the chief of the Basra police said.
Police patrols found from now and then unidentified female bodies in remote areas.
Most of these bodies bore signs of torture.
Basra is 590 km south of Baghdad.
As long as these people keep following the Koran and the Hadith, this shit will never stop. If the Iraqis can seperate out Mosque from state, that would facilitate a more Western approach to this issue. To do so in Shit-ite territory would piss off quite a few Iraniacs.
More power to him…

Tell me where there is a safe place for women
even in the so called most progressive countries, they are the targets of lunatics or frustrateds ; bad clichés are the best possible shares in macho world
October 3rd, 2007 at 5:50 amFrenchy, I am continually mystified by your postings and what you are trying to say. I have been followed some of your past postings, as they appear to be an attempt at causing irritation and provocation among the fine readers at the Patdollard.com forums. I have no clue as to what point you are trying to make in this latest response (“bad clichés are the best possible shares in macho world”), but would like to offer you some advice. There are plenty of liberally based websites that would welcome your dribble and would even welcome your inept statements. Please go away and do not return, EVER!

I admit , I like provocation and contradiction, so did Socrate
would you just have discussions only with people who always opine ?
I know I might be disturbing, and if you don’t appreciate my comments, forget me so far this place is not a private club

That’s socrates dipshit. And we know you like pissing people off. No probs. Your stupidity is only exceeded by your piss-poor grasp of the English language.
“would you just have discussions only with people who always opine ?”
Everyone opines dumbass. Are you trying to say the phrase do you have discussions with people who only agrees with you?
“I know I might be disturbing, and if you don’t appreciate my comments, forget me so far this place is not a private club”
Yes you are a disturbed human being. And yes this is a private club. It’s Pat Dollard’s private club…
Have you shaved your pits yet surrender monkey?
October 3rd, 2007 at 7:22 amdanny boy,

Nice attempt at sarcasm. Have a glass of wine…
October 3rd, 2007 at 7:52 amhehe, quand on caresse la bête dans le sens du poil
October 3rd, 2007 at 8:08 amFrench, so are you saying in France or Canada they kidnap women off the streets one every other day and murder them just for wearing makeup? I know that it doesn’t here in the USA and if/when it did the person who commited the act would be called a murderer we would seek out and electricute the prick. Bear in mind 15 isn’t the number of women killed across Iraq in a month but just in Basara.
Oh yeah and I think there are people being tortured and killed both male and female all over the world but does not make this specific practice any less terrible. If you loathe the western nations so much why not join these people in the 3rd world so you can possbily begin to hate the societies that practice this kind of barbarity as if it was as common as a hockey game or football game. Soccer if you prefer.
October 3rd, 2007 at 8:37 amRegin in Blood,
of course not, fortunately we live in countries where the state rules mean protection for its population
me recall some comments on women, or statistics, whatever, we have to be careful that a regression is possible
we all know what a nazy party could manage some times ago ; depends on the policies of a country, it can always happen
“Soccer if you prefer” rugby at the moment though !

Frenchy did not understand your last paragraph. She doesn’t understand much of the English language. Either that or it just sailed over her head?
October 3rd, 2007 at 11:21 amDanny boy,
I understood quite, but I practice the the elucidation to change the purpose, kind of bias, ask to el professor, he knows all about bias
October 3rd, 2007 at 11:30 amI figured as much. I just hate when moral equivilency is used in these types of situations. Cheers to the western nations and freedom!!
