Illegal immigrant Blames Robbery On New Employer Sanctions Law
Ooookay…
Two illegal immigrants have been indicted on charges of armed robbery, theft and aggravated assault in Maricopa County.
One of them blames his crime on Arizona’s new employer sanctions law.
Ruben Aragon Parra and Salvador Antonio Monreal-Camargo are accused of stealing a truck on Sept. 13 and later robbing a man in a park.
The second victim chased the suspects in his own car and pounded on the windshield of the stolen truck with a shovel before they were arrested.
Parra told police he needed money after being laid off as a result of Arizona’s new employer sanctions law.
Beginning Jan. 1, the law will require employers in Arizona to verify the employment eligibility of new workers through a federal database.
Employers caught knowingly or intentionally hiring unlawful workers will face a 10-day license suspension for a first offense. After a second offense, they can lose their license.
A second suspect in the robbery admits to being deported from the United States three times.
A third suspect is accused of unlawfully using a stolen vehicle.

Oh those poor messicans. Driven to a life of crime because they committed a crime. Much the same way that fighting terrorism causes terrorism.
October 4th, 2007 at 2:53 pmOh the humanity!!!
seems youv’ got a lot to worry, they are more numerous than our immigrants
October 4th, 2007 at 2:56 pmThey committed these kinds of crimes before the law went into effect. That dog just won’t hunt.
I live right in the middle of it, too. Had to put a freaking PADLOCK on the tailgate of my truck because we are having a rash of tailgate thieves in the neighborhood. Funny how the authorities are finding these stolen truck parts in Mexican chop shops, isn’t it????
I am so sick of this crap.
October 4th, 2007 at 3:30 pmOur constitution does not extend rights to the whole fucking world. An illegal is not entitled to the same constitutional protections as are legal citizens in this country.
We have every right to round up every illegal in this country and throw their asses out. Or better still maybe we should adopt Mexico’s illegal citizen laws.
Ever been to South America and been witness to an illegals round-up? I have….and they don’t mess around. Why should we?
October 4th, 2007 at 3:33 pmHell, we used to do those ’round-ups’ here. It’s been more than ten years but I’ve seen them in Georgia and Virginia. Not any more though. To the ‘left’ and far too many on the right there is no such thing as an ‘illegal’ alien.

Here’s a hint la raza: I don’t care.
Gawd I love the smell of ICE in the morning.
October 4th, 2007 at 3:52 pmWell said Dan. Only citizens have Constitutional Rights and Protections. Illegal immigrants and combatants in Gitmo or anywhere else have absolutely no right to demand protections from anyone other than their own Foriegn Government!! That is if they go back to ask for it!!
October 4th, 2007 at 4:11 pm“Only citizens have Constitutional Rights and Protections.”
Well the odds are they’re gonna get them (at Gitmo anyway) from the Supreme Court. It’s on the docket for this year.
October 4th, 2007 at 4:35 pmHmm, guess Rueben must have a time machine. The new law doesn’t take effect till January 1st, 2008 and he can’t get a job in 2007.
