He wanted to visit some people identified as victims of the
genocide. Sudanese troops said No. Carter said “I’m going to
tell Bashir (or whatever his name is) about this”. Troops said
No.
In the end Carter issues a statement saying that the West’s
description of the events in Darfur as constituting genocide
is “unhelpful”.

He helped put the current Iranian government in place. He gave control of the Panama Canal away. During his recession which had double digit inflation he continued to increase taxes on all Americans. When questioned if it was ok to have a terrorist organization in charge of the Palestinian territories he stated it is good because the government was an “elected government”. The list goes on.
This guy has always been out of touch.
