Fox News Catches Up To Me On The Truth Of The General Sanchez Story
Yesterday, a very angry Pat Dollard wrote this story about General Sanchez. Lucianne Goldberg linked it. And also yesterday, a very angry Pat Dollard spoke with a top executive at Fox News, pointing out that they too had been hoodwinked by the AP who had tried to censor and cover-up what Sanchez had really said. My Fox guy said he would check it out, and get on it.
Well, low and behold just minutes ago Fox ran a big story about the MSM’’s cenaorship of the General’’s remarks, remarks that indicted the MSM and Dems for treason.
Here was the headline of Fox TV’s story, and the constant chyron at the bottom of the screen:
“Journalists Trumpet Criticism of Bush, Ignore Criticism of Themselves”.
My video guy is sleeping off his typical college-age hangover. I’ll try to get a clip up.
Pat:
Have you ever thought of starting your own news channel? Has anyone? That focuses on debunking the MSM’s take on everything?
Boy would that be a nice change.
October 14th, 2007 at 9:45 amPAT DOLLARD IS THE MAN!
I am so glad you are literally watching every word of the traitors in our country. Their slick abortions of the entire truth are what keep many Americans in the dark as to the nature of this conflict and the conditions on the ground for our troops.
THANK YOU FOR EXPOSING THEM FOR THE LIARS AND TRAITORS THAT THEY ARE!
Yet another job well done!
October 14th, 2007 at 9:46 amGood work, Pat.
October 14th, 2007 at 9:50 amThe lead media mogules need to wake up and check their facts out before running with the latest spin from the left as well. You would think they would review the entire speach of General Sanchez before releasing any stories. After all we are at war and our people are dying and that should be top priority in this country. You would think . . . thank God it is your top priority Pat!
That is why I am a supporter of your site and what you are doing.
It was great to wake up today and see this first thing!
Glad to see FOX did a followup story correcting the error.
“Journalists Trumpet Criticism of Bush, Ignore Criticism of Themselves”.
Lets see how many other media outlets do the same. I won’t hold my breath.
October 14th, 2007 at 9:58 amFANTASTIC! Nice work, Pat. This is exactly the sort of thing blogs are best at - sanity-checking the MSM and calling their high-and-mighty asses onto the carpet when they try to pull some slimy shit like that. Magnificent!
October 14th, 2007 at 10:08 amThe story goes from “General calls war a nightmare” to “MSM killing our soldiers.”
This is Pravda in the Soviet Union. They turn a story of a speech from this general that indicts the media for treason and murder into more pro-terrorist pornography.
They know no depths to which they will not descend. They will attack Bush for national guard service questions but constantly scream how they “support the troops”.
They will smear heroes like Petraeus and contort Sanchez’s words that indict them into an indictment of Bush and our military.
The AP writers masturbate to the deaths of our soldiers. It is their porn. Harry Reid achieves an aroused state ONLY through the murder of American soldiers. It is his viagra. It is Nancy Pelosi’s vibrator. They have orgasm when our soldiers die in this war against the most sadistic, disgusting and cowardly enemy we have faced at least since the Nazis and perhaps ever.
October 14th, 2007 at 10:42 amWould it be a [misuse] of the word “REDACTED” if I were to use it to describe what the neoPRAVDA did to Gen. Sanchez?
October 14th, 2007 at 10:50 amOh, and …
Another good one to contact about this is Limbaugh. Anyone an “Insider” to Rush 24/7 to email him?
October 14th, 2007 at 10:53 amGreat work Pat, and congrats on becoming a serious force for truth in this country and abroad..I also love the idea by LftBhndAgn, a news channel would be a great idea, maybe take on some of us as reporters but anyways, keep up the great work..This population is so truth deprived that its no wonder we are in such inner turmoil. We need the real story from somewhere, i tell everyone i know about this site so hopefully all working together we can make a big difference in taking this country back
October 14th, 2007 at 11:00 amGreat coverage, Pat!
Before we all go slobbering over Fox News, though they are reporting it on TV, I don’t see anything about it on their web site. Jamie Colby is interviewing Simon [something] right now, and both are acting like “we don’t understand why Sanchez would say such a thing…”
Jamie Colby also asked viewers, especially the military, to comment, so I would suggest everyone go there and express their opinions. It’s not up yet, but here’s the link:

Keep up the fight!
October 14th, 2007 at 11:39 amIt’s done Drill.
October 14th, 2007 at 11:54 amSuper work Pat. I jammed your truth on this topic into numerous e-mails and bombarded FOX with them. It is Fantastic that they were smart enough to listen to your call.

And CNN is still palying the cherry picking game with the story.
This morning during the morning show they mentioned the Sanchez thing - I was so mad already know the TRUTH of what was NOT reported - I emailed the show your story and send it to their news tip comment box. We just need to keep trying to get the TRUTH out - MediaMatters.COM? how about TRUTHMATTERS or TRUTHTRUMPSMEDIA.COM - someone needs to start one of those up.
October 14th, 2007 at 2:39 pmand it looks like Im needing a VOCABULARYMATTERS.COM - geez why dont I proof read my comments before submitting - LOL.

BASTARDS.
October 14th, 2007 at 3:43 pmSpeaking of “Vocabulary matters”, it’s “lo and behold,” not “low and behold.” Unless, maybe, you’re a cow.
