The Warthog may be the coolests plane in the US arsenal. I am SO glad they decided not to mothball her. Badass is all I have to say.
October 15th, 2007 at 11:56 amI get to see the A-10 up front and personal about twice a year when they fly over my house and fire their Gatling guns into the adjacent firing range near my home. Love the sound of it. Love GRRRRRRRRRRRR….sound…it makes…sounds like….victory….
Check out the fas roping job the SAR team did. Great CapSar mission. I didn’t see a single enemy round strike their AO.
October 15th, 2007 at 12:14 pmThe A-10 has certainly earned it’s place in air force history and does it’s namesake (the P-47) proud.
Ummmm, where is this at?
I’m tempted to say it’s at Nellis AFB, maybe during Red Flag…

That’s an interesting guess. My first guess was Afghanistan.
October 15th, 2007 at 7:07 pmThat was kewl…was that a training exercise or the real thing?
October 15th, 2007 at 8:25 pmI’m almost positive I saw this before. I think it’s an Air Force Pararescue training mission.
October 16th, 2007 at 7:21 amI’m 97% positive that’s the Mojave desert in So. Cal. I live here in L.A. and that’s my weekend stomping ground/shooting vacation destination. I’d venture futher to narrow it down to Twenty-nine Palms, on the south side, north of 247
