Politico:

A little bit of late night comes to the morning talk shows Sunday, as comedian Stephen Colbert appears on “Meet the Press” to promote his frivolously entertaining bid for the presidency.

On Tuesday, Colbert announced his plans to run for president — albeit only in South Carolina — and has even signed papers to get on both the Democratic and Republican primary ballots there.

Let’s hope Colbert does better Sunday morning than he did in his last big-time Washington appearance, when he bombed in prime time last year at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner.

CBS’ “Face the Nation” devotes its entire half hour to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who is also seeking the Republican presidential nomination.

Romney is expected to come out swinging, as he and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani have spent the past week squabbling over abortion and taking turns comparing the other to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y).

Will Romney offer up any more jabs on Sunday?

Bobby Jindal, 36, of Indian descent, son of immigrants is the new Governor of Louisiana to replace the inept kathleen blanco. Perhaps the people there are finally tired of liberal excuses for non performance. things are looking up.

Maybe Joe Torre is available? Now there’s a true leader of men. Our country needs a leader like that, but those folks are too smart to want that job and all the BS that goes with it.
