Earlier today, he attacked President Bush’s mental health.

WAPO:

In the weird last minutes of the debate (the period, by the way, when The Fix made it onto the basketball court in high school) Rep. Dennis Kucinich (Ohio) gave us a highlight.

Asked about the statement by actress Shirley MacLaine that Kucinich had seen a UFO at her house, Kucinich said that he had. He quickly sought to clarify — an “unidentified flying object” he said holding up his hand — but man oh man.

The big news tonight: DENNIS KUCINICH HAS SEEN A UFO.

Obama did not take the bait when asked whether he thought there is life on other planets. “I believe there is life here on Earth,” he said, turning his answer into a domestic policy statement.

Baltimore Sun:

Kucinich: ‘I did’ see a UFO

Rep. Dennis Kucinch of Ohio was asked this during a debate of the Democratic candidates for president tonight: Has he ever seen a UFO?

“The godmother of your daughter, Shirley MacLaine, writes in her new book that you’ve sighted a UFO over her home in Washington state,” the questioner asked, “that you found the encounter extremely moving, that it was a triangular craft silent and hovering, that you felt a connection to your heart and heard direction in your mind.

“Now,” Kucininch was asked, “did you see a UFO?”’

“I did,” Kucinich said.

“And the rest of the account — I didn’t — I — it was unidentified flying object, okay. It’s like — it’s unidentified. I saw something.

“Now, to answer your question,” Kucinich said, “‘m moving my — and I’m also going to move my campaign office to Roswell, New Mexico and another one, an extra, to New Hampshire, okay… And also, you have to keep in mind that more — that Jimmy Carter saw a UFO, and also that more people in this country have seen UFOs than, I think, approve of George Bush’s presidency.”

Questioner Tim Russert replied: “14 percent of Americans say they
have seen UFOs.”

In the post-debate interviews, Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico said he is happy to promote tourism in Roswell, but he has never seen a UFO.

I wish someone would do a approval poll of Kucinich vs. George Bush. It would send Kucinich home to his mommy in the fetal position.

I’m the skeptical type. I’m sure that bright light hovering over his head is just burning swamp gas.

    Crazy Kucinich.

Conspiracy theories are actually rather popular among liberals it seems…at least the more left-leaning ones. Let’s ask Al Gore if he’s seen anything of the kind. Oh wait, he’s already seen ManBearPig.

    Poor Kucinich.
All he was trying to do was snatch the ‘abductee’ vote away from Ron Paul and everybody makes out like it’s ‘real’ or sumthin…

    Boombop,

The day you start comparing the President of the US to Kucinich is the day you know the current president sucks!!!!!

  7. Boombop

    Kipp,

Is your real name Dennis? Only Kucinich would believe that bullshit.

  8. Boombop

    Kipp,

your name has to be Dennis. Only Kucinich would think something that fucked up.

  9. mess

I bet he got his ass beat every day in junior high.

Wow, double back to back post. I put Kucinich and Bush in the same category. Both, as leaders, would screw this nation up. Only one, however, do I have concrete proof of their ability.

    Kipp,
Sorry about the back to back. A boring story. My bad!

By the way, Shame on you. Kucinich is not worthy of polishing Bush’s shoes. But I will say Kucinich is worthy of licking them. But just the soles.

Many many people have seen UFO’s . I doesn’t mean it was an alien.

    “an extra, to New Hampshire,”

He actually said “Exeter, New Hampshire.”

Not to defend this drooling moron, who in my opinion is an assclown of unfathomable lunacy, the UFO story behind Exeter, NH, is far more disturbing than that crap at Roswell.

Having said that, it hardly speaks well of a person who is vying for the highest office in the land to lightly jest (is he?) of putting offices in the two most notorious UFO-related location in North America.

Can anybody tell me how dipsticks like this make it all the way to the primaries?!?!?!
