NYC Jihadi School “Intafada” Shirt Principal Whining

Debbie Almontaser, who resigned under fire from her position as principal of the Khalil Gibran International Academy, the city’s Arabic-themed school, spoke out publicly for the first time today since her case attracted headlines and protests from opposing sides. Ms. Almontaser, a Yemeni-American with an extensive record of educational and community work in Brooklyn, stepped down on Aug. 10 amid a controversy that erupted after she was quoted defending the use of the word “intifada” as a T-shirt slogan.
Ms. Almontaser released a prepared statement through her lawyer and later read the statement from the steps of City Hall in a news conference that started soon after 5 p.m. In the statement, she said that she was forced to participate in an interview with The New York Post, that the newspaper misrepresented her views and that city officials then threatened to shut down the academy if she did not resign.

So what kind of civil uprising would this school be teaching, I wonder? Maybe something about all Jews and Christians are pigs and monkeys and should be killed or conquered? Or perhaps a 5th column uprising against the State of NY?

Absolutely correct. Any criticism directed at anyone but a conservative is labeled with some kind of prefix or suffix. in order to redefine the objection into something it is not.
That’s a distinctly Orweilian concept that the left employs on a daily basis. Right is wrong, up is down , evil is good, and good is evil.

As for this school, I cant even imagine after 9/11 that we would still be so politically correct as to allow this place to be opened. Oh and what about Islamberg? is that terrorist training camp still open?

Just as the feminists lost credibility when they defended clinton, the separation of church and staters have lost what little credibility they have by allowing the public funding of an islamic school.

After all, we are all supposed to believe, on pain of denunciation as “Islamophobes” and bigots, that Muslim student associations and all Muslims in America already support the freedom of Americans from Muslim terrorists. Heaven forfend that we should ever breathe the shadow of a hint that any Muslim in America could possibly, in any way, shape, or form, ever have even so much as cast a glance in the direction of Osama bin Laden, or harbor even the tiniest bit of sympathy for the global jihad. Yet here is CAIR, big as life, posting an article from the Minnesota Daily called “David Horowitz Intends to Spread Fear, Hatred,” which contains this paragraph:
The Freedom Center will provide all materials necessary to any college student willing to host a week at their campus, including a pre-made petition - which unabashedly invites Muslim student associations to support the freedom of Americans from Muslim terrorists.
