Senate Dems Send Letter To “Unpatriotic” Rush’s Boss Demanding Repudiation
Update: Fox News is reporting that Mark Mays, the CEO of Clear Channel, wrote the Dems back and said he refused to criticize Rush.
These are the same peolple who always howl that anytime the right questions their war views and policy, the right is being “despicable” for “unfairly questioning ( their ) patriotism”. I’ve never heard anyone on the right directly question anyone on the Left’s patriotism. The great traitors of our time, who have undercut and killed our troops, are now leveling the very charge that they claim is out of bounds in public discourse. When Harry Reid told our enemies they had won the war, he became the Benedict Arnold of our time.
I’ve been saying for a while that a Republican congressman or Senator needs to flatly level the charge of treason against the Dems. I was told I was extreme. Well with Petraeus, and now Rush, the Dems beat us to it.
This is a war, not a conversation. This war is being fought here. I’d like to see Republicans start fighting it wholeheartedly.
From Drudge:
Washington, DC—Senate Democrats today sent the following letter to Mark P. Mays, CEO of Clear Channel Communications ( Rush’s boss ), calling on him to publicly repudiate Rush Limbaugh’s characterization of troops who speak out against the Iraq war as “phony soldiers.” Despite recent Republican comments condemning verbal attacks on our troops, when given the opportunity to join us in signing this letter, not a single one did so.
Read the letter, and see who signed it. Partial spoiler: Hillary, Reid and Obama did.
Nothing but a bunch of scum bags!
October 2nd, 2007 at 4:31 pmReid’s getting slammed with irate callers. Some puke named “Raymond” called into Mark Levin’s show and told the screener that he works for Reid. When Levin p/u the line the 22-yr old fucktard hung up. ROFLOL.
Keep those calls up fellow patriots. This puke is on the ropes.
October 2nd, 2007 at 4:33 pmSo what is supposed to say? When you take a lie as the starting point, the ending point is still a lie.
I wonder what else Democrats will lie about?
October 2nd, 2007 at 4:34 pmWell said fellow Ohioan..couldnt agree more
October 2nd, 2007 at 4:34 pmIf they were only scumbags, they would be human. The more I see of them, the more I am convinced that they are evil incarnate. They are the LBJs of our generation. Frankly, Reid can go ahead and have a stroke.
October 2nd, 2007 at 4:38 pmOnce again, they’re trying to milk this for all it’s worth. I used to believe that these Dems at least had a brain capable of independent thought; well boy wrong I was. Notice how Sen. Lieberman didn’t buy into this total BS. Once again, Webb isn’t representing the interests of Virginians.
October 2nd, 2007 at 4:52 pmNot many MEN can wear a pink shirt! This creep (Reid) is a discrace to our Country, our form of government, and the Military. He’s not only a traitor to the USA, he’s a traitor to his gender!
October 2nd, 2007 at 5:00 pmThis beady-eyed traitorous POS oughta be drummed out of the Senate.
October 2nd, 2007 at 5:28 pmHey Nevada, shove a Searchlight up this ferret faced America Hater’s narrow little ass.
How bout a poll?
Who’d be okay with seeing him executed for treason?
October 2nd, 2007 at 5:31 pmAxem:
The traditional method is hanging. I’ll be glad to put the noose around his neck. Do you want to build a platform or just use a crane?
October 2nd, 2007 at 5:41 pmaxem, shooting is just fine, but I have a fantasy of a good old fashioned tar and feathering
Can you believe these wastes? get to work you fucks, quit arguing with a radio personality.
This is what our senate is spending time doing, and then the shit stains have the nerve to complain about the new Iraqi government not getting enough done.
October 2nd, 2007 at 5:43 pmSteve in NC: Amen to that…
October 2nd, 2007 at 6:18 pmDan, he should be hanging from the ceiling of the interior of the Capitol dome. For a week during session to send a clear message. Had it done already, we’d be done in Iraq already.
The only decent place would be for him to hang from the extended hand of the Statue of Liberty.
October 2nd, 2007 at 6:38 pmThese a-holes are left to trying to shoot it out with Rush. Him vs. 41 Defeat-ocrats. I think it shows just how much they fear him and hate him. And by “him” it really means those who do not toe their line. Liberals hate free speech when it dissents. They hate dissent, in fact. And as logic, reason, facts and truth are rarely if ever their ally, they need to twist and distort in order to win an argument.
By going after Rush, they will merely bump his ratings up and rally his friends around him. Talk Radio has broken their monopoly on info and it did it long before the internet. Those days aint comin’ back, libs. The days when you controlled the national debate thru Walter Cronkite and the NY Times is dead. RIP.
Rush tore open those gates years ago and was a pioneer in the land of media omnipotence. They have never forgiven him. But to have such scum as Harry Reid as an enemy is a form of praise for Rush.
Taze Reid, bro.
October 2nd, 2007 at 6:41 pmAxem:
Good idea. I’m game. Although I kind of like Steve’s idea of tarring and feathering. Maybe we should do that first. I wanna see all that fake skin on Peloski’s face melt when we hit her with the tar.
October 2nd, 2007 at 6:44 pmTo Harry reid and the Congressional Democrats:
“NUTS!”
Sincerely,
Mark P. Mays, CEO of Clear Channel Communications ( Rush’s boss )
October 2nd, 2007 at 6:47 pmWhat low life pieces of crap. This makes me sick. They think they are so high and mighty and when one citizen talks on the radio and insults the liberals they get pissed and write an angry letter they aren’t real people they are just pansys. I want one of those smilies to throw up for me…
October 2nd, 2007 at 6:52 pmThe Dhimis were on H&C trying to parse Rush’s words. I get a kick out of watching them try their spin and then watch them twist in the wind while trying this “well both sides should” shit. The trouble with libtards is they can’t handle the truth. To them right is wrong and wrong is right.
They balance that opinion on the petard of moral equivilence while making complete retards of themselves.
Once again the libtards have shot themselves in the foot and the chickens are comming home to roost to shit on their big heads once again.
They get to the start point with a lie and get to the endpoint with a lie… They get caught in their lies, and they get smacked down for it repeatedly. And some are you are worried about these fucktards in ‘08?
This is going in the same direction that the BowelMovement.org ad went…right back up the libtard’s asses.
It’s a beautiful thing to watch. Have a beer
October 2nd, 2007 at 7:04 pmThese gomers are still worrying themselves that we MIGHT question their patriotism!? Good lord! We are WAAYYY beyond that. It is crystal clear that the democrats have no patriotism, or at least none dedicated to THIS country.
I question their patriotism.
I question their sanity.
I question their fucking HUMANITY, as they are attempting to inflict genocide on Iraq through precipitous withdrawal simply for the sake of building their own political power!
It is absolutely ABSURD that they still think they have any patriotism to offer. What self-delusional, hypocritical circle of hell do these idiots live in??
October 2nd, 2007 at 7:37 pmI love patdollard.com, but I wish that you all would tone down the profanity. I know you think it makes you sound more cool, but it does exactly the opposite.
Thanks,
October 2nd, 2007 at 7:45 pmA Friend and Ally
“Our troops are fighting and dying to bring to others the freedoms that many take for granted”
I thought they were fighting and dying for oil or to fatten the wallets of haliburton and other Bush cronies?
Interesting though they werent able to quote directly, exactly what Limbaugh said. they only quoted the term “phony soldiers” a term coined previously by ABC to mean people who either pretended to be veterans of wars or pretended to have been soldiers period.
If you cant quote the offense but only paraphrase it, then it is likely you dont have an argument and you are intending to deceive. Funny thing is the dems, who think so little of the intellect and integrity of americans, have taken this initiative with a straight face and so many american sheep are lining up to accept this ruse without checking the facts.
Its time to ask them to quote the offending remarks entirely. But that might take a media that hasnt been in colusion with the dems. Come on Fox, time to grab the spotlight once again.
October 2nd, 2007 at 9:32 pmGod Damn Mother Fucker who let fucktard in to bitch about the fuckin profanity!!!?
October 2nd, 2007 at 10:02 pmAnyways………We should all have figured out by now that these d’rats all think like they are 3 days into the recovery process of a TBI.
Thank God that Mark Mays not Cuban owns Clear Channel!!
How taudry and pathetic. What are they going to do, start their own radio station? Oh, they already tried that (Air America) and no one listened. Yeah, they are trying to do an “Imus” on Rush. Like I said, pathetic. Ever hear of the First Amendment? Oh, and he never said the “phoney troops” comment anyway. If they listened to the program EVERY DAY they would know exactly what he was referring to. It’s a continuing conversation. But they get their info from Media Matters and have NEVER LISTENED. “Media Matters’, a Soros group Billary has admitted on tape she “helped found.” Oh, I’m sure that’s going to be great for her career.
October 2nd, 2007 at 10:29 pmI agree with Max.
October 2nd, 2007 at 10:36 pmEw, Harry Reid strikes a pose.
October 3rd, 2007 at 12:22 amMax -
We’d love for you to join us here … But this is pretty much the “Vent Zone” for those of us whose boiling points have burst.
So, use a bottle of White-Out and cover over all the “bad words” …
You stick around long enough … READ the real stories the neoPRAVDA isn’t giving you, and you’ll find yourself tossing in a cuss or two …

The Dhimis were on H&C trying to parse Rush’s words. I get a kick out of watching them try their spin and then watch them twist in the wind while trying this “well both sides should” shit.
——————————————–
Yeah, saw that too. I was screaming at the TV for Hannity to say, “You first …”
I KNOW, without a doubt, when a liberal talking head in one of those “both sides” chats says “well both sides should”, that means they’ve been caught. It’s like two kids getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. The real guilty one always points a finger at the other and insists, “He made me do it!” …
October 3rd, 2007 at 6:36 amI cant beleive people are this fucking stupid. These are the people leading the country! All they have obviously heard is what media matters posted, any sane person who listens to the whole dialog of what rush said can CLEARLY see he is in support of the troops like he has been his whole life.
October 3rd, 2007 at 6:49 amOnce again it proves that, despite divergent views and strength of character among individuals within the party, when it comes down to it not a single Republican could bring himself to sign something so obviously conceived in fraud, while the Dems have no qualms.
The arguments between the two remind me so much of those between a parent and child. The Dems equate their slandering of the Commander of our forces on a full page ad with Rush using the word “phony” in a definitional context. And in their 6 year old minds, they think it’s “all fair”, likes it’s a fucking game.
