Side Note: Led Zeppelin Going Digital
I am stoked about this, so I put it up. ~Bash
LONDON— Led Zeppelin, one of the last major acts to resist digital distribution, are releasing their back catalog online. Led Zeppelin said their songs, including “Communication Breakdown,” “Whole Lotta Love” and “Stairway to Heaven,” will be available from online music stores Nov. 13. The band is due to release a two-CD retrospective, “Mothership,” the same day.
“We are pleased that the complete Led Zeppelin catalog will now be available digitally,” guitarist Jimmy Page said in a statement Monday. “The addition of the digital option will better enable fans to obtain our music in whichever manner that they prefer.”

I still want the CD, not just a file. Like to touch it. The CD I mean

October 15th, 2007 at 7:31 pmZepplin is the greatest band ever. I look forward to having a Black Dog or Dyer Maker ring tone. I was just telling a chick at work today (who was paying $200 for Garth Brooks tix)… the only ticket I would ever pay $100 for was Plant/Page. Now… if only they would do a show in America.
October 15th, 2007 at 8:06 pmI dont think you can not like Zeppelin and still be considered an American.. naa just kidding, but Zeppelin freakin rocks
October 15th, 2007 at 9:04 pmFor me, it’s Van Halen first, Led Zeppelin second! Hard Rock is the best genre of music ever devised. Unlike most of my college student peers, I can’t stand jam bands, gimme heavy metal! Makes for some great theme songs on all those Live Leak tributes too!

October 16th, 2007 at 12:42 amI was at their concert in phoenix in 77 when a malfunctioning
firework blew Jimmeh (with guitar) 10 feet in the air and onto the drums, I LMAO and almost didn’t make it out of there.
(ticket was free) waste of time but for the display.
Come on Bash it’s a new century, let the old hippies go.
come to think of it I hate every thing from that era, including the music, or lack there of. As long as I’m on this rant, I have been listening to that crap on the job every day
incessantly for the last 30 years over and over and over and all right all ready, enough is enough. Just say no to the 70
shit rock.
Other than that I have no opinion.
Saw the Page/Plant tour here in Dallas a few years back. It turned out to be a Zeppelin concert! Best money I ever spent!
