October 8th, 2007 at 7:46 pmThis reminds me. Bill’s mentioning of Daaave. I used to be a fan of Letterman and caught him many times after Johnny Carson and stuck with him up until a few years ago. It’s one thing to take shots at the President, all comics do and have been forever, but, from Letterman it seemed to come from a hatred. About three years ago I made the break and went to Leno. Fast forward to when O’Reilly was to appear on Letterman that revealing night. Remember when Bill asked Daaave whether he wanted the US to win? There was the big pregnant pause and Bill said, “it’s a simple yes or no”. Daaave’s response finally were words to the effect he had to think about it. Since there has been this recent poll that says that 25% of democrats think the US should lose someone with the resources should put a video together that shows those that have said things that would lead one to believe that the US should be defeated and it will star Daaave. Maybe Snow and O’Reilly could co-produce it.
