October 17th, 2007 at 12:01 pma dog? shes crying about a dog?
I wonder if shes ever shed a tear for any fallen soldier?
October 17th, 2007 at 12:06 pmWell, when bureaucracy comes back to bite the liberals in the ass who promote more bureaucracy in our lives (government or otherwise) it sucks, eh?
Now, Ellen, imagine, if you dare, one of those little girls needing heart surgery, but under socialized healthcare she’s put on a months long waiting list … and dies while she waits …
Get a fucking grip.
October 17th, 2007 at 12:09 pmThis isn’t about a dog. It isn’t even about those two little girls that had “bonded” with the dog. This is about self absorbed Ellen. That’s all she cares about. If she really cared about that dog or those kids she’d be finding a way to fix it instead of bawling on national TV so everybody gets to see how much SHE is hurt. Once she has every one’s sympathy for HER she’ll be re-energized to make through the day.
October 17th, 2007 at 12:19 pmFucking idiots.
And that’s why I hide my Hollywood accessory dog in a chik, uptown Samantha Thavasa by Tinsley Mortimer designer bag.
October 17th, 2007 at 12:25 pmMaybe I’m missing the obvious, but it’s a dog. She should be crying for the tens of thousands of children who suffer in silence every day because they’ve been abused and social services pushes family (re)unification instead of removal. WTF? A dog gets “removed” from a home no questions asked, but a kid who has the hell beat out of them on a regular basis has supervised visits with the offending parent. Beam me up, Scotty!
P.S. - Does anyone else out there miss James Traficant?
October 17th, 2007 at 12:50 pmI wouldn’t give away one of my dogs
this woman is a stupid ass and lacks of decence

P.S. - Does anyone else out there miss James Traficant?
——————————
OMG! YES!!!
Can you imagine Jimbo on the floor of the house sneering “What the fuck’s wrong with you people?!?” to Pelosi and Co.?
When I worked in local radio I was a acquainted with Jim and his wife. Nice people. The dems knew he couldn’t be controlled (wouldn’t “tow the party line”), so they `got rid of him’ … Weigh what Jim did to what N.J. Sen. Robert Torricelli did … and got away with. Compared to what other democrats did/are doing, Jim’s amounted to an unpaid parking ticket …
October 17th, 2007 at 1:30 pmdrillanwr-
Yeah, the dems will throw anyone under the bus (i.e. - Traficant, Lieberman, et al) except the a-holes who really deserve it (Jefferson, Kennedy, Murtha, et al) and it’s a damn shame. The Traficants and the Liebermans were the only intellectually honest folks in the whole party.
Traficant is scheduled for release in a couple of years (I think) and I hope he gets right back up on the political horse. For crying out loud, if Marion Barry can do it, surely he can!!
October 17th, 2007 at 9:35 pmas much as I may want to mock ellen I cant for many reasons.
for one, her show is well produced and original , which is something that is hard to find. She is becoming more popular than oprah because she seems to shun politicizing the show. She is a lesbian and out of the closet, but if you were new to the show you wouldnt know it.
I respect this about her. She is funny and she appeals to a wide spectrum. She ,like many americans, loves animals and quite frankly i wouldnt doubt that if she she can get so emotional over an animal then she would get equally emotional about the death of this or that human being.
She hasnt put on an air, she has shown herself vulnerable, whichh is refressing and all though it may seem trivial these days , given all that is happening in this country, i can relate to her suffering and we shouldnt down play it or brow beat her for displaying emotions about animals.
I was moved by the display more than I am moved by politicians pretending to be distraught over troops dying in iraq.
lets not jump to political conclusions on ellen just yet.
October 17th, 2007 at 11:57 pmSully, Perfect read
October 18th, 2007 at 1:08 amIf only some one in the audience had a conceal carry and could have put her out of her misery.
Hell the damn DOG is hoping to be put down so he won’t have to go back.
[…] Paris H wrote a fantastic post today on “Comment on Video: Then Thereâs Ellen Degeneresâ Dog by Paris H”Here’s ONLY a quick extractAnd that’s why I hide my Hollywood accessory dog in a chik, uptown Samantha Thavasa by Tinsley Mortimer designer bag. […]
October 18th, 2007 at 2:44 amEllen’s show isn’t live, so she didn’t have to air this crying jag. That said, I feel sorry for her. I’m not an animal freak, but obviously, she is, and I know many of them. I think the people she gave the dog to has a legal case against those animal shelter idiots, for stealing their possession, and for intentional infliction of emotional distress. The “contract” was probably unenforceable, and Ellen might have a case for unintentional infliction of emotion distress.
October 18th, 2007 at 9:51 amMan, that should be required viewing in “Celebrity behavior 101″. So self absorbed and vapid. All those waterworks for THAT? Cuz your dumb ass was too stupid to figure out a way to keep your puppy and cats happy? And its obviously good practice for the shelter to have such a policy, they didn’t give you a homeless animal for you to pass it on. Idiot.
The part the fucking kills me? Towards the end when she’s blubbering she says “I’m sorry I didn’t call, please give the puppy back to those two littles girls.”
So she hasn’t done a damn thing. No, that would deprive her of this little bit of hers.
