I am tired of hearing that the polls for the War in Iraq are dropping. I don’t care if the majority of Americans want us to surrender yesterday, until we become a true democracy by voting for everything on line it does not matter.

We are a Representative Republic, which simply put means that we voted for those that are to represent us in Washington D.C. The majority of both houses of Congress voted to send our troops into Iraq. Now only the House of Representatives actually has the power to bring the troops home, the Senate does not have a leg to stand on. The only power held by the House is the power of the purse. They can defund the troops any time they so choose.

I’m nauseated. The code pink movement/whatever is a worthless waste of time. These women accomplish nothing with their means of protest. I agree with Bill that they are merely hindering their cause. This fake blood deal was way over the line. May I please point out how calm and cool Sec. Rice was in this clip? She is my fucking hero.
