The bottom line is Musharraf had to take over to purge the wacko liberals and extremists in the supreme court and other government offices because they were on the short road of handing the country over to Al-Qaeda and Taliban on a silver platter.

The sad thing is the liberals and a lot of brainwashed people think the Taliban and Al-Qaeda are not that bad and will be good rulers.

After seeing the destruction Al-Qaeda has wrought in the name of God in Iraq, Somalia, Afghanastan, etc. the smart people in power that had the ability to do something and also understood they had the responsibility to take action, thankfully did.

If Al-Qaeda was pouring in across our borders by the thousands on multiple fronts our own President would declare emergency powers to deal with it.

Musharraf is a tough son of a bitch and knows what’s at stake. He’s not gonna let the ignorant liberals and extremeists dump Pakistan down the drain. I think as he put it he was not going to let the Country commit suicide.

Corey Wayne - Hey, I am in Texas and somebody is pouring over our borders - Not sure who it is! That emergency powers thing my be needed soon here.

That is not the first time that I have heard this line of thinking. If you are right then I am 100% behind the emergency rule, and even think that he should have done a whole lot more up north in the tribal areas to kill the SOB’s that are hiding UBL.
And by the way, do you really think that we don’t potentially have AQ and other jihadi’s already coming in to our country through every hole there is in our border security. Just look at the major airport where I live, 28 illegals arrested with badges that gave them access to secure areas in the airport, and those on the left are beginning to bitch that we should leave those poor hard working potential terrorists alone so they can blow some shit up and we can blame it all on “W”.
